Having a child that becomes extremely sick changes a person...and usually for the better..Glad to see his son pulled through. Both of my boys loved his magic while they were growing up.
I remember the days when people would always talk about him, I used to hear about him EVERYDAY especially living in Vegas. Now, no one really brings him up these days. It makes me sad!
Christopher was the SHIT at one point in time. Nowadays, nobody really likes magic anymore all due to social media being a “magical” apparatus for most folks.
The tricks are not easy to do anymore. Cell phones and social media prevent the type of "tricks" that were responsable for bringing magic back into popularity. He was the "video" trickster, because it needs video to work. It's also why others in the community sometimes said not so good things about him. Of course they must be jealous is what fans figured...
@@92up7 No, his child was diagnosed with cancer, so that's what takes up all his time now. Oh and a side note, he wasn't disliked, as a matter of fact he has always had a good reputation amongst his peers and of being a cool, nice person to most people who met him! So I'm not sure where anything you're saying comes from but you're way off base.
I used to be a big fan of his earlier stunts and street magic. Later on he gave out vibes of materialism, greed, and superficial staging. Really happy to see he is back with his wife and putting his fame towards a better cause.
Lmao I remember being so happy getting the Mindfreak set for Christmas, I was tricking and teaching all my siblings the tricks. *sighs* Everything was so much simpler back then 😩
One thing to watch him on tv, but when I seen him in Vegas just last month, I was 3 rows from the stage just to the right, I say it was awesome watching him live
I remember watching Mindfreak every week when a new episode came on. I understand now that a lot (if not all) of it was staged. However, the man can do real magic. I’ve seen him live. Those who are saying “He’s not a magician” are completely wrong.

Most of these modern magics are already done by criss back in 2000 & when he started to level up in, people said its camera tricks.. As my childhood magician, he is truly an inspiration & i respect him with everything

I really enjoyed watching his show it was very entertaining, key thing entertainment. I hate when people talk about camera angles, magic being a fake. It's like of course it's fake, The magic in it is the presentation and the way they express their craft and the feeling you get from it.
@@kungfew1396 he doesnt photoshop images on his video (computer graphics) or things like that but he may stop the footage and then puy it back to together so its seemless.
@@american76 I really like Chris Angel but he definitely made it out like what you saw on the show was what non paid bystanders were seeing and that just wasn't true.
Whoever created this video is apparently a super fan because I didn't really watch a whole lot of Chris Angel but even I knew his "live audience" was paid and they used video editing to get around complex tricks. There's even a young kid who's a magician you see on Facebook or RU-vid all the time and he follows the same formula. Pays a small group of people to pretend to go crazy when the trick is done and uses video editing to complete the trick.
Damn that last video of him showing his son magic. That’s the shit I love to see just sharing your love and passion with your kid and he reacts like that has got to be a better feeling than any of those celebrities or randoms on the street.

I have zero interest in magic, but Criss Angel is an amazing human being. He is one of the nicest, most caring people you will ever meet. His self-belief and focus are commendable.

He had reasons and didn't feel the need to stay in the spotlight, and actually cared what his loved ones, awesome guy You can really tell the writer of this video has very little respect for him sadly
When Mindfreak first started I thought that with his talents and good looks he should play a superhero in a movie like maybe be an X-Men or something. I was a love struck teenager, I didn't know any better. I now disagree with my past self so hard.
Lol, i remember when his tv show was on back in the day when i was younger. Criss Angel Mind Freak was literally my favorite thing to watch when I was younger. My mom and i would sit on the living room couch and turn it on our tv and watch that stupid ass show every single week together lol. I remember being so amazed by what he did and all of the tricks he was doing for other people. The episode where he lifted up a fucking car was one of my mine and my mom's favorite episodes lol. I also remember being so damn obsessed with Criss Angel back in the day, that one year for Christmas my parents got me the DVDs with every season and every single episode on them and i would sit in my room after school everyday and binge watch the shit out of those DVDs lol. On one of the disks, there was like a 'behind the scene' type of thing where he showed you how some of his tricks were done and all of that shit. I would religiously watch the one where he 'levitated' off the ground like a foot or two, and it showed how he did it and broke it down step by step, he had like a fake pair of legs like some weird ass half suit type thing that were just fake legs, and he'd step out of the fake legs with his real legs and step up onto like a side street curb or something low to the ground like that, and would slowly step up onto it and the fake legs would be just dangling and thats how it looked like he was levitating off the ground into mid air. Lol, i thought it was literally the coolest fucking shit ever being a young, dumb little pre-teen back in the day... I'm 22 now, and thinking back to those days make me cringe just remembering how obsessed i was with fucking Criss Angel and his dumbass 'Mind Freak' TV show. Lmao, I still remember the theme music/song to the show too. Every time the show came on TV and id be in the other room and id hear, "I AM A MIND FREAK (MIND FREAAAKK!)" I'd come running into the living room to watch it. Lol. Such good times lmao. 😂🖤☠️
Yes. He may edit his stunts on camera, but seeing him live is incredible due to the fact that he can’t edit it. I know their are tricks he pulls and other stuff but the things he does is simply incomprehensible. If what he did was easy, then everyone would be doing it.

I used to have a Chris angel magic tricks box full of foam balls, fake and real card sets, cups, a colorful rag, and a DVD showing how to use the stuff. It came with other stuff too but I can't remember what they were.

Many might disagree, I find his magic really amazing and very entertaining. He had a couple bumps in the road personally, who has not? Bottom line the guy is a great entertainer if you are into that sort of stuff as am I, and don't give two shits about his personal life.
