This Holy Week I, a Protestant, went with my Catholic friends to Holy Thursday Mass and the Easter Vigil. It was amazing.

My testimony: After being an atheist for 8+ years, and "married" to another female, I got the urge one day to say out loud "IF there is an Almighty God that does NOT wish us pain or sorrow, please bring me truth, I wish to know you exist". Then God immediately started bringing me the answers I had been searching 8-11 YEARS for! I witnessed Him take control of my internet and the rest of my reality; He first proved to me that demons exist (I called them "inter-dimensional beings"), then He proved His own existence, which I later found to be Jesus Christ. As soon as I found Jesus at the end of 2020, He IMMEDIATELY took away my transgenderism, bisexuality, depression, daily suicide attempts, self harm, bulimia and anorexia; and He did this all without me asking Him to, because THAT'S how merciful and loving He is! Thank you for this. So important at this time of year. I identify as a Christian but with so much controversy in many new age churches, I look forward to going to the Catholic Church tomorrow for Easter Sunday and making it my home again.

One of the fascinating things about holy week as a whole is that it shows the fickle nature of humanity. It starts on Palm Sunday when the people were welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem saying "Hosanna! Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord!" And less than a week later they were crying out "Crucify Him! Crucify Him!"

Thank- you for having Bishop Barron on. I notice Bishops that cooperate with God's graces is able to explain the Catholic Faith clearly, our state as sinners and our sin crucifying Jesus on Good Friday, but Jesus still offering us salvation while we were sinners.

I raised my special needs nephew from age of 9 to 16 years old. It was lots of work, disappointed moments of why why my Lord , this is too much for this beautiful and lovely boy, worried, to feel compassion, I could not concentrate well on my business and not much have time for my own grandchildren and family; however that was the best experience , and learning to love one another …., about to be a good human as Jesus said; to love one another as I love you. Beginning I used to think what others think about me? But little later I learn to think what best I can do for him so he feels much comfort on his difficult life. We became a best friend and was one of my best time of my life and actually I could feel my Lord Jesus Christ was beside us, teaching us to keep our hope, grace and joy. My dear nephew always had the light of The Holy Spirit on his heart, I could see and feel it.. Almighty God has a good reason for his plans! I pray for you that God bless you and you hear his voice. Amen 🙏

oh, Bishop Baron, don't be fooled or worried. "All that edginess" has not been lost on many of us. I feel it deeply, especially this Holiest of Weeks. I keep all of these things in my heart & reflect on them. When I speak about my faith to other Christians (Catholics AND Protestants) I never get the intensity that I feel about it. And if you speak the truly revolutionary ideas represented, they look at you funny. I rarely come across any one that 'gets' it.

What I love about RU-vid is getting to hear the opinions of people like Catholics on things like this. I had never met a Catholic until I was a teenager because we didn't interact with Catholics at all despite them being a few streets away.

JESUS' said on the cross it is FINISHED! My mom passed away a few days ago. I was believing in Jesus Christ for a resurrection miracle for my mom and her health. she has been suffering for months and months. 😢 When I say suffering I mean she was in agony to where she couldn't sleep she couldn't eat she would just be groaning. Thankfully I would hear moments of murmuring her crying to Jesus for mercy and help. It was really sad. She's always been a fighter. I believe she was really self-willed and I believe God used t his break her down. TO HUMBLE HERSELF. I was praying to God for her at church praying for her IN MY CAR, bed, walking . She putn in imduced sleep. I still have faith in God maybe he was going to let her go to her last breath before he healed her and made her wake up and tell people I love Jesus Jesus saves me. she was breathing with support well asleep. I was crying out to God for her to know that she was saved. I was really concerned she was on her way to hell. SHe wasn't living 100% for God. She wasn't living a God fearing life. she was very angry and bitter I didn't see fruits of God's presence in her life. What gave me hope is that I know she was murmuring to Jesus. 🙏 Which leads to the song talking to Jesus Christ listen to that song powerful.. God gave me that song to let me know that she was at moments crying out to Jesus. thank God he began to show up I was praying on a bench in my mom's garden. Suddenly a hummingbird flew right in front of my face. And then it flew off into the sky I was like thank you God I know that's you I know you're speaking I know you're putting something together That evening I'm crying crying I lay down by where my mom next to her sleeping area and I look up on a shelf.. next you know I see a hummingbird with a cross on it! 🙏♥️✝️ God's about confirmation and revelation. That's giving me more hope is I'm in tears before the Lord for my mom to have a miracle and for the family. The next day I go to the hospital I can't stand hospital I can't stand these situations. I'm there sharing what God's doing and my uncles like whoa. I didn't start playing with myself Lord I would love to see a hummingbird or a bird out the windows by the window in miracle with my mom Cuz I'm praying my other Uncle who was buying when I walked up to me know what he showed me a picture of? Hummingbird! At that point I knew Jesus Christ was in charge of my mom was going to be saved and resurrected on Resurrection Day. I began to look up the meaning of hummingbird. How powerful are the meaning of hummingbirds. There are so many stories of how God is used hummingbirds to help people not give up to let them know that God has given peace and victory over death that God will give you peace and prosperity after the Storm! 🙏♥️✝️! That's why Jesus Christ was crucified Jesus Christ went through pain for our souls gain and on the third day Jesus rose again so your soul can smile knowing you are saved!

I'm glad you brought up Dante and his point in Monarchy. I've thought for a while now the one of the most underrated arguments for the papacy and role of the bishop of Rome was to make a very similar point. It just makes perfect sense. Christ's church on earth has to have a seat of power, and it has to be Rome. The authority of the world had to be usurped and subjugated to Christ, just as they had to be the ones to execute him, and the empire had to be a vessel by which Christianity could spread through the world. God makes sense, God is sense, and this all just makes sense.

It’s true! A sermon is meant to move and challenge the listener. When the listener remains complacent, the sermon missed its mark. Christianity was edgy. It challenge the recipient to think in a new way.

"The Jews" can be veiwed as a term (or an amorphis political entity) that includes anyone with a spirit leading them toward the rejection of logos (the divine order of all things). It is neither all Jewish people, nor is it comprised entirely of Jewish people. People don't like the term because they view it as a blanket statement regarding a group that is very sensitive about persecution due to certain events past. However, as E. Michael Jones explains, it is a term that best describes the negative influences that have led to our current political circumstances and, as such, it must be spoken aloud if we are ever to solve the socio-economic issues that are leading us toward collapse. People try to mask it with terms like "neo-con" but it simply doesn't do it justice when it comes to solving the specific problems we're facing. So, call me antisemitic if you will. I no longer care, as I have no hatred in my heart for anyone. But the truth must come first. P.S. this comment is no knock on anyone. Not DW, nor the "Christ is king" crowd, a statement with which I agree but is seemingly starting to be stated in a spiteful way, which I don't think is helpful. Peace everyone! And Happy Easter!
