Eddie's values moulded mine. I was 13 when I found them and so alone, his morals and ways were such a great example! I'm so grateful I grew up w Grunge as my influences. Integrity was the cornerstone 👍🙏🏻
Big same! Especially with a father who gave up parental rights of me as a baby and then a molester/pedo for a step father left me feeling isolated and needing guidance and wise. I got that through Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder and I am so thankful for the 7 times I got to see them live and all the decades of inspiring music that made me a better person.
I grew up as a huge fan of Pearl Jam and used to really like to meet him . Sometimes we think we have a solid idea of what kind of character a a celebrity possesses. Through their work, all the different interviews they. Their interactions with what you consider like minded individuals and how others who know them perceive them when talking about them. But I have to admit when Eddy VEDDER provided entertainment at Obamas Birthday party I think about 3 years ago or so long after we had all known what Obama had done as President as far as oppressing innocent civilians of foreign Countries and outright changing their status as existing in this life regardless of age , disability and actions among other things still coming to light. Taking into account the lyrics of Vedders many songs. Entertaining war criminals was something I would have never imagined VEDDER doing . Then you take Vedders negative attitude towards pew pews which the public overwhelmingly uses for the defense of themselves, their loved ones and even others who they stumble upon being victimized in a way that is a legitimate threat to their safety and existence . While he and his family live in probably the relatively safest places wherever they lay their head . With some of those places being behind big walls but all of them having armed security working around the clock to protect the lives of those he cares about. You feel a little bit letdown in some way . Keep in mind too that the method his stalker used to get inside his sanctuary and pose the potential threat they did . Wasn’t using the 2nd tool on the list our forefathers enshrined in a document in the guide to what our rights were and the tools we had a right to in order to secure those rights. It was a vehicle
Talented and so damn fine. Yes I've dealt with a stalker it's flattering at first but quickly turns scary and sad. Finally you have to be cruel to be kind which leads to 50 b protection orders and purchasing piece of mind from a big ole country cousin. I hope he's out there somewhere happy and stable. The stalker that is my cousins great. Stay safe and try to be kind.
