Great video again,Tia!I have a question- I have plans for opening up a niche POD store selling apparel only to Dog owners. There are close to 150+ dog breeds in U.S alone. I checked out on Etsy and do see a LOT of stores selling apparel for dog lovers to the point that it looks like the dog owners niche is saturated not only on Etsy but other POD platforms like redbubble, teepublic and Zazzle as well. In this case, I was wondering if starting a store selling t-shirts and sweatshirts only to dog owners is a good idea currently? Or should I rather open a dog lovers store and sell all sorts of POD products like t-shirts, mugs, blankets, metal wall signs, phone cases,tote bags and other POD products catered to various dog breeds in this store? I have chosen dog lovers niche because of the large customer base and also the fact that I just LOVE dogs! I would really appreciate your response🙏❤️

Same to me, three sales three mistakes, brake even, but no money gain. I don't make any sale now as my profit is only 20 per cent now. I am quite new on this....

@@TiaTX As Columbo would say, "Just one more thing..." At 11:52, you detail that you basically increase your profit via lower shipping costs for the second product(s). I assume that you're offering "free" shipping on the item, where the shipping cost is baked into the product? That way, if the first item is $12 with $5 ACTUAL shipping ($7 profit before fees), and subsequent items are $12 with $3 ACTUAL additonal item shipping, you're getting an an extra $2 per additional item. Seems about right. It looks like I'd have to follow a similar approach for a bundle of products, by having a shipping profile that's free shipping (and adding cost onto product), or another shipping profile that had 1st item at X, and additional items at Y, which would be more than the print provider's additional item cost. If I leave the standard shipping profile, the saving for the additional item shipping is given to the customer, and we can't have that ;-) I mean, they'd be getting a bit of a discount for buying in bulk anyway. OK, thanks again, I need sleep.

POD on Etsy mixed with Printful does not produce a customer base because it is so expensive. Even after making a variety of product available. So many fees.

Thank you for this indepth knowledge. I myself use the EtsyHunt tool to count for my item price. Do you have particular online tool that can covers both selling in US and other market too?

don't know any tool that accounts for VAT, if you're selling from and in US should be fine but otherwise mark up prices by 25% + your profit and should be safe :)

So as european to sell in europe is not worthy at all, too many taxes, I habe lost 5 euros in one sale that came from Greece cause I paid taxes for the product and for the sale. Do you recommend to swift off europe selling, international selling and focus in USA?

I keep 76% of my revenue. This is after Tax, Shipping, and Etsy fee's. But just recently i got hit the the Etsy AI. And 80% of my listing got deactivate. (My Best selling items). I reached out to Etsy support (No help at all). I relisted all the deactivated listing. But its not selling the same as before. :( I think its time to start my own website and drive my customers there. Atleast then im able to control what gets deactivated.

Heh, this is crazy - I came to the same conclusion this week about multiple products, so I'm going to start selling bundkes of my product, and like you, target just the US with Printify's US print providers. Thank you for the video Tia, i created my own costs spreadsheet but you've pointed out what I've missed, which is UK payment processing fee, VAT on fees, and regulatory fees; I'll update accordingly. Thank you again, and I'd be interested in knowing if you offer paid shop reviews/coaching.

Would be interesting to see an update on your Redbubble earnings, especially since the new changes took effect. It appears that you have returned to placing regular listings, and not just digital offerings. Maybe a more balanced approach. Are your digital earnings tanking on Etsy?

I have 2 shops, one for POD only and one for digital only, the shop in this video my POD one. Digital sales have been regular. And thanks for the suggestion, I'll put it on my list
