@fIuoras I don't know what hapoen to the mini horses eye, but painting it is not abusive. Like they said in the video, many ppl do this and the horses seem to like it or at least not mind it. As long as the paint is safe. I worked with a horse rescue and we had a fund raising event where kids could paint the horses. The horses were just fine. As for the hooves, yes you need to keep them trimmed, but it does take some time for them to grow out enough to lame or bother the horse. Many wild horses don't get their hooves trimmed and most of them are perfectly fine.
@@CrazyDogLadySky not to be nitpicky but the only reason wild horses dont rly need hoof trims is because their environment and lifestyle wears the hooves down naturally for them overgrown hooves on a wild horse would probably have resulted from them already being incapacitated in some way but yeah animal-safe hair dyes and paints definitely exist, although its hard to say if this situation actually involved horse-safe paint or not...

I hate this woman with a burning passion but it should be noted that coloring a dogs fur isn't dangerous as long as the dye is pet safe, and formulated specifically for dogs. Many people with service dogs will dye their dogs so that they are more recognizable just in case they are stolen
Most do. In fact, I used to do background checks for a rescue, meeting possible adopters at their home and talking in depth about. There's people of people out there though complaining and saying they *had* to go to a (rEpUtAbLe) breeder because shelters wouldn't give them a dog. :/

as someone who has a horse, her care for that pony was sickening. the fact that she said that they need their feet done 2x a YEAR is so insane. horses require regular maintenance, no matter how big or small. i am disgusted by this woman and how she thinks animals are just toys that she can throw away. i will say that at a boarding barn, it is normal for barn owners to pay for farrier services if the owner of the horse does not do so, because it is unfair to the horse to deprive them of that service. that barn owner did the correct thing, and i makes me upset that farrah acted like she didn’t.
As someone who has never had a horse even I know that twice a year is bullcrap and not enough- horses hooves are almost like our nails and need trimmed much more regularly, amongst all of the other maintenance that I'm sure they require 😢 I detest people like this, that use animals like their toys or dolls- their not teaching their kid very well when it comes to looking after pets - I just hope she learns this stuff elsewhere as its not the kids fault her parents are like this 😅😢❤

Miniature horses are often abandoned because people don’t realize that they require pretty much the same care and attention as a full sized horse. I hate that miniature horses are even bred much less sold to irresponsible people like this Farrah brat.
My ex got charged for trespassing and theft under $500 cause she let a goat off a leash her neighbor would leave on there all day and night. No shelter and never moved it. Just a small 10-15 foot leash in a small yard.

i’m an instructor for children and elderly people with disabilities to spend time with horses, and while some horses enjoy it, it can be an extremely stressful environment for them, especially when sick or recovering
That's wonderful! Equine therapy can be incredibly beneficial- but like you stated, it is crucial that the horses are in good health and not stressed out or anxious
Horse abuse is so rampant it makes me sick. I went to fat camp when I was 12 and they let us ride the horses if we were below a certain weight. I remember learning when I was 16 that the weight was still too much for a horse and it just made me angry.

I did equine therapy, and I bonded with a male horse, I never painted him, tho I just combed his mane and did other activities that he enjoyed, since it was in a horse rescue shelter the ones who were sick or stressed weren't available.
My dad said "dogs don't have souls" but he also beat up a guy and stole his dog cause he was beating that dog. We had him for like 12 years until he died from old age.
While it's good to know that some people who believe this still care about animals, the "animals don't have souls" argument is frequently used by people who mistreat them because they don't think it matters if the animal doesn't have the same capacity for suffering as humans do.

We adopted him from a lady who kept him in a tiny cage 10 hours a day…. He tried to chew through the cage and broke a ton of his teeth! This dog is the sweetest, most loving dog and brought sooo much joy. I can’t believe I have never heard of that!!!

This comment really stood out to me as well. I can understand caring about the breed, but the way they look?! Let me tell you something, I *really* don't care for the way my dog looks. When determining what breed of dog best suits my lifestyle, however, looks were at the bottom of the list. Who gives a shit how the dog looks outside of "does it look healthy?" As someone who works at an animal shelter, a lot of people ask me what the "worst part" is. Watching animals be born and grow up in the shelter is devastating, witnessing senior animals being consistently overlooked and dying in the shelter is absolutely gutting, seeing animals lose any sense of excitement to see people because they're just exhausted is soul-crushing, but seeing such terrible neglect that you can do NOTHING about is worse than all of that. It makes me sick to my stomach and I don't know how anybody can be okay with this. I will cry today for all of her animals that faced absolutely abhorrent treatment, but I will go to work tomorrow and at the very least be grateful that our shelter animals get the best we can possibly provide for them.
I don’t get why people overlook older animal. I only adopt older dog, because normally they are already socialized and then to have had some training prior in their life! Also elderly old dogs tend to be calmer.
I'm so sorry. I have a tremendous amount of respect for people that run and work at those places. It never ends. People don't want to take the time to train some refuse to spay or neuter their animals. It's so senseless to have all of these poor animals suffering. The really sad thing is that these gross humans are allowed to also have children.

Dachshunds are not a designer breed. Dachshunds can be traced to midieval europe as far back as the 15th century. They were working dogs, badger hunters. Thus the big paws for digging and the loose skin for crawling into tunnels and holes. Fearlessness, tenacity, and attitude. The last thing a dachshund is, is a designer breed.
A designer dog is a cross between two purebred dogs strategically bred to create ideal characteristic combinations. I think you mean expensive breeds. If they are purebred , yes it’s not a surprise.
Almost every one of of the teen mom girls have become absolutely disasters as adults. I'm sure being thrust into the spotlight at such a young age, suddenly having millions of dollars, desperately wanting to keep that fame, and never maturing past age 15 didn't help. And I feel really bad for the babies who have never known a second without a camera shoved in their faces And of course none of this excuses what is being done to the animals either. They are just as much victims as the poor kids are.

Actually, it can. Coughing and sneezing can both cause trachial collapse in a small dog. I had a pom that would have random coughing fits and collapsed his airway several times, poor thing. I always used a harness, never a collar, and it still happened.
She also said it was because of weed smoke? Like no. Unless he was blowing it in their faces, they shouldn't have been close enough to the smoke for that bad of a reaction.
A collapsed trachea can also be a genetic defect that is more common in certain dog breeds. Small dogs in particular are more prone to it I believe. A small dog my family adopted developed a collapsed airway as well despite him being very well trained on leash. Either way, a collapsed trachea is very easy to spot due to the honking cough that happens when they have one, and perfectly easy to treat in order to give that dog a normal and happy life.
Kennel cough can cause a collapsed trachea. My friend rescued a husky puppy who couldn't wear collars for a year while he recovered from it. So smoking and the coughing/stress associated with it actually could do the same damage. THAT SAID. Tight collars and severe pressure to the throat can also cause it. Brachycephalic breeds like bulldogs, boston terriers, boxers, miniature schnauzers, etc shouldn't wear normal collars (or should be trained on a harness) to avoid damaging their throat. Greyhounds as well.

As a Christian, the "dogs don't have souls" line really angers me because there are multiple passages in the Bible that state how much God loves and cares for his creations. There's two passages in Matthew that talk about how God doesn't forget the birds in the sky, and there's a story about a prophet named Balaam who had a donkey that recognized the glory of an angel and refused to travel further, so when Balaam beat the donkey, God gave it a voice to speak. I don't care if people make fun of me, but as a Christian, I vehemently oppose that stupid sentiment that animals don't have souls.
Amen!! 100% agree. I didn’t respect animals until I became a believer and realized how much God loves them. Not only that, but the fact that they are created by Him and as a gift to us is just beautiful to me, and it’s our job to take care of them.

Taxidermy nerd here! That is actually the reason lots of taxidermy businesses don't do pet memorials outside of skull cleaning/skeletal articulation. Unless the taxidermist also knew the dog in life it can be very difficult to mount a pet because the taxidermist isn't necessarily familiar with the pet aside from receiving its body/pelt and just knowing how that animal is supposed to look as there are standards with different animals in taxidermy. Also typically the CLIENT chooses the posing of the mannekin that the pelt will be placed on It's also likely that she didn't provide the taxidermist with a Sufficient amount of photos of the dog in life. Either way it's incredibly sad that not only did the poor dog pass but a service meant to honor it has been put to waste by the poor thing being locked in a chest. If only she knew that there are actually taxidermists who offer remounts. Like taxidermist 1 screws up the mount so you take it to taxidermist 2 to take apart and remount As taking apart taxidermy isn't rocket science and can easily be done depending on the age of the mount and condition/how the pelt was tanned. Also taxidermy is EXPENSIVE, I have a few taxidermy foxes that I've taxidermied myself the pelts ranged from 100-400$ Plus the materials (even though they are softmounts which are wildly different than traditional taxidermy which has a full body mannekin instead of stuffing) But she had her dog traditionally mounted which means not only did the taxidermist make a full body mannekin for the dog but also since there isn't really preset forms for dogs (ive only ever seen one preset dog form and it was for a specific breed of hunting dog) hell its difficult to even find a head form for larger foxes which means that the taxidermist custom made the form which is also an expensive and time consuming process especially if it was hand carved and not made with a mold. Also the glass eyes probably had to be made custom too to replicate the dogs eyes in life. Basically meaning this woman spent probably about 700-900$ (these are just conservative guesses) All that money and that taxidermists effort just to be locked in a box where it'd probably be nibbled on by carpet beetles and moths. Hi, I'm someone who's watched a lot of amateur and professional taxidermy videos and has a great love for taxidermy. I have brought fresh roadkill home twice, not even kidding, but didn't have the confidence to do anything with it, so I left it to rest in the forest out behind my house. It was a canada goose and a turkey vulture, both completely intact specimens with no insect activity and still in rigor mortis. Extremely lucky finds! If only I'd taken the chance... Anyway, I'm hoping to find classes or an apprenticeship, just find some way to make a break into the industry. Any advice you have on starting out would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
@@BlueSkyBirdies . For starters checking local laws is a very vital part of it. For example in the US and Canada we have something called the MBTA which prohibits the sale,trade,collection or hunting of protected birds some birds on this list include. Gold finch, eagle, robin,swan, birds not on the list include domestics like chicken,pheasant and turkey. Some places also have laws against picking up roadkill. I recommend getting a lip tucker tool it makes tucking the lip flesh into the mouth of the form waaayyy easier. I recommend highly starting on a small animal like a mouse. You can get frozen(dead) feeder mice from pet stores and small mammal tanning kits online (van-dyke's taxidermy is where I get all my forms and tanning stuff)
You can hold puppies by the scruff for the first few weeks of their lives but after that they’re way too heavy to put that kind of stress on their skin
Dogs don't walk on 2 legs or have thumbs. a dog doesn't have a choice in the matter. We do. Rather hold a puppy comfortably rather then pinching its skin. Also if you look up dogs holding their babies.. Most of the time, they put their full mouth around the pup or they at least try to. Scruffing is outdated, painful, scary and unnecessary.
you can still pick them up by scruff to an extent beyond thatif its a small dog BUT you have to still support the pup from underneath. Same with a cat. I have a 13 lb cat and Ive had to scruff him a few times (like to get him into his carrier or at vet for shots, etc) but we scruff and then also hold your other hand under his bum so his weight is not pulling on his skin and muscles.
@@ariannasantinaJust so you know: That is incredibly painful for the cat and not recommended in the slightest. You are shooting yourself in the leg. The cat is terrified of these things, because they associate it with insane pain and fear. So you need to scruff. But the scruff also causes stress, pain and fear. You are just making it worse and losing your cat's trust. Just practice it! Cats can be trained very well. Clicker-train with that crate and once that works, drive around the block and release and once that works, go to the vet, but leave after sitting in the waiting room for a while. My elderly cat is an angel at the vet. It's not because he loves pain, but because we put the work in. Edit: This can even save you money and their life. For most things my cat doesn't need anesthesia. He's an absolute champ for taking blood and taking x-rays.
@@ariannasantina I can’t speak on cats as I’ve never owned one but I’ve raised german shepherds my entire life and I still wouldn’t recommend scruffing past the first few weeks. Like @xanitaXbillx said, it’s just unnecessary. I'd imagine it's the same for your poor cat. Though if you really are supporting his full weight and just using the scruff to control his movement no harm done I suppose. Just make sure you aren’t initally lifting him by the scruff before supporting him.
Sophia couldn't bond with pets because her mom couldn't bond with her. Hence why she is now a depressed teenager. She never got to know her father and her mother is a complete narcissist with severe mental health issues which she has never truly addressed, possibly because she is also a sociopath. @@BoredchinchillaFarrah always bragged about not using a babysitter or nanny bc she suspected they all would steal from her and has definitely been caught leaving Sophia alone in random people's hotel rooms and then going out partying. Cops came and cps ended up investigating. Found out they didn't have a home in LA and then she got the smallest apartment she could find where she was openly filming herself for only fans around Sophia and even having Sophia film some of her adult content for her. Sad life for that kid. For the last couple of years I know Sophia is a little older now and capable of taking care of herseld as a mid teen but Sophia has feelings and emotions and being abandoned by yourself with no family or friends and to take care of the animals Farrah collected while Farrah goes on vacations for 1-2 weeks at a time and Sophia is left to just fend for herseld is sad. When she comes back you can tell Sophia is happy to finally be around someone again which is obvious it is having an effect on her psyche.
I will say I am not someone who loves barking. It can be very overwhelming for me, but I also don't have a dog and have a preference for cats. However the possibility of a dog isn't out as my husband loves them, but we'd work at finding a more naturally quiet breed to help with that. Essentially, get a pet that matches your needs and lifestyle so both owners and pets can be happy 🤷♀️ Research is such an important part of getting a pet imho
@Svgarcanna I will say this as someone who has to hear dogs barking every day at work. Not all dog's barks are equal. Some can be ignored and / or barely heard. Others are absolutely mind-blowing and painful to the eardrums and ones patience. So much so that it takes willpower to not scream at them to stfu. We don't scream at them, but sometimes I wonder we how the family's of those dogs tolerate those kinds of barks.
Absolutely nuts. If you put in the work, potty training a puppy is pretty easy. All you need to do is look for their signs they show before they start to pee. Or you could teach it to touch a bell. Dyeing her dogs isn't so bad as long as it's pet safe. But knowing how "responsible" she is, I highly doubt it was safe. Muzzle training doesn't include wrapping a ribbon around the muzzle. You get a muzzle that will properly fit them and use that to train them. *Deeply cares* yea, your track record of pets would definitely agree. Disgusting woman. All of those animals deserve a better owner.
My neighbors threw a Scottish fold cat out in the dead of winter. When I went to talk to them about shelter because this was the 3rd cat they tossed out this past winter (the other 2 were already in my house) they said take him if you want him he is a waste of food and litter. She claimed he kept pooping in the kids room because he was locked in there. Ya this cat is a sweet heart who never misses the litter and freaks out of he gets closed in for more than a minute.
It’s also such a red flag that when she said she cares so deeply about her dogs she said “their breed and how they look” when she was trying to list all the things she cares about with her dogs. Took her quite a while to get to health. Their breed and how they look are arguably two of the *least* important things to care about. Of course “how they look” can mean not being malnourished etc but I think we all know she just cares about how they look in the sense of them giving her clout via their breed or cuteness.

Leaving multiple dogs in the cage for extended periods and spraying them is awful. I dread to think what happens that isn’t recorded. Also she’s promoting buying off puppy mills :( and online, it’s sad! Poms are so delicate - especially if they’re from puppy mills, you need to be so careful! The dogs now do not go outside. She has them go to the bathroom inside and they don't get walks or anything. Imagine why they bark so much too bc they need exercise and get to go smell stuff and be DOGS.
If you think holding a dog above the toilet or trash can is the way to potty train them, you should never be allowed to have any sort of pet. And it get's worse from there. All those pets that got rehomed, had a lucky escape.
Ooooh man the no souls stuff brought back some insane childhood memories… I grew up super religious and I remember one of my friends had a dog that died. She was DEVASTATED!! Inconsolable honestly. We were all together hanging out with some other friends and their moms. One of the other moms said “it’s okay sweetie, he’ll be waiting in heaven for you” and my mom immediately pulled me aside and told me “animals don’t have souls so they don’t go to heaven, animals were put here by god to serve us, and also everyone is simply dead in the ground until the second coming. Only Jesus and his angels are currently in heaven.” Religion can be positive and peaceful, but when it’s fundamentalist it’s just abusive and scary honestly. May these dogs be a lesson for us to be better and treat animals better - absolutely heartbreaking.
Aww :( I wanted to jump on this comment and share my own happier one, I grew up Catholic and when I was eight my hamster died. I went through the same thing wondering if he’d be in heaven etc and I spoke to my priest about it: he stuck his neck out and told me God loved all animals so why would they be excluded from paradise when they can’t commit sins. I look back now and think what a sweet man, he didn’t have to care so much about a little girl and her hamster but that reassured me so much at the time.

Since I became an adult in 2006 until now, 18 years later, I’ve had 3 dogs. 2 of them I still have now and 1 was my only dog for many years and sadly passed away at 13. Hoping the 2 I have now live for many, many years to come. I don’t understand ppl who have a different dog every other year, I truly don’t know how they do it. Losing my boy Ru was was of the hardest things I’ve ever been through. The attachment and bond is so strong. She clearly doesn’t have any emotional connection with her pets, I think she’s the one (and her mother) who doesn’t have a soul.
I’m someone that can look past a lot to see the good in someone despite major flaws but the mistreatment of animals will shut me completely down from someone. I had a friend for 7 years, went to her mom’s house to be met with an unspeakable amount of small dirty dogs in tiny cages stacked up on top of each other in this tiny dirty apartment. My friend told me this is just how they live and didn’t see an issue. I NEVER spoke to her again. To me, after that, someone is like a piece of garbage sitting on the sidewalk. I really mean that too, not one single care what happens to someone after they do that. ❤️
How old was your friend? Because if her mom was/is a hoarder, she might not have much control over that, and if she grew up in that kind of environment, she might legitimately think that's normal.
I think unfortunately she seems to have a very childlike understanding of how animals are. It very much reminds me of how children look at pet toys. You can always pet them, play with them, dress them up and toss them around, and there's no hassle of upkeep (except maybe for batteries lol). And because they're toys, they're seen as generally pretty disposable. However, real animals are complex, living beings. A huge part of having a pet is taking care of their needs, paying attention to the needs they are trying to communicate, accommodate them as best you can, because you're supposed to have the ressources to do so, both materially and mentally. You can't just play around with them like they're toys, treating them however seems adequate, and expect them to be okay and have a perfect behaviour. Those things are taught by people whom actually love their pets. Farrah Abraham loves the idea of having a pet, but not so much the reality of it.
The problem is everyone wants and loves a puppy (or a kitten) but no one wants a grown dog or cat. They don't want to train their pets and then dump them as soon as it gets too hard.

when i was still a child and i learned my family was neglecting our dog (no nail trimmings, no vet visits, no walks, hitting as discipline) i had never felt more guilty and ashamed in my entire life. i only learned it was abuse after watching dog videos on youtube and learning about how to properly care for a pet. i dedicated so much of my time to taking care of him to the best of my ability and reprimanding my family for how we had been treating him. he was never hit again, he went to regular vet visits and grooms, and my brother and i took turns walking him after school. i still feel horrible and extremely guilty after all these years, and i have a lot of anger towards my parents for taking on the responsibility of a dog and then neglecting him or just brushing him off to my brother and i when we were still just kids. he passed away from cancer when he was 10, and the last years of his life were genuinely good, because i was actually taking care of him. i love and miss that dog every day. i haven’t had a dog since because i’m not in a stable enough place to take on the responsibility, but i work with them now and absolutely love it. dogs are a genuine blessing in this world, and they deserve the effort needed to take care of them. people like this obviously are scum, and should never be near one, let alone responsible for its well being. The thing i’m most worried about as well is sofia, if she ends up not being like the rest of the horrible animal abuseres in her family, because i can’t imagine the guilt. i dealt with one dog being abused, she has had countless. it’s horrible, if she feels the guilt it will eat her alive, and her horrible excuse of a mother couldn’t care less AND put her in that situation!! it’s seriously heart breaking, i hope sophia’s in therapy and doesn’t have to deal with these psychotic abusers ever again. fuck farrah and her mom and any enablers in her life, these animals and her own child shouldn’t have to suffer because she’s a publicized narcissist and no one wants to give her a reality check
im so angry that she keeps insisting that red RIBBON is a muzzle. when my dog's jaw broke due to a serious dog fight the vet suggested that until we could see a specialist a muzzle could help. NOWHERE did i see that kind of "muzzle" at ANY pet store
I used to do equine therapy (taking miniature horses into the homes of the elderly or disabled). Stroking and cuddling the horse is fine and ensuring they have enough breaks is imperative if you're there for a longer period than 40 minutes or an hour. I disagree with the painting, I think it teaches people or treats the animal like an object and not a creature to be respected. I highly doubt horses 'love' it because they don't understand what it is, I imagine the horse doesn't really care that much and may even enjoy the attention. I think the most egregious thing is keeping Starburst alone in a yard. What a sad life. This woman is disgusting, the way she treats her animals like toys.
When I saw Sophia in her goth outfit and makeup I felt a little relief… like thank goodness she’s not going to be a Farrah carbon copy. You can’t grow up the way she did and not have issues but seeing that she’s kind of rebellious gives me hope. It’s important that all of us question and challenge the things we were taught growing up instead of blindly following our parents. Parents aren’t saints; they have issues too and the only way to stop them being passed down generation to generation is to “rebel”. The clips of her calling out her mother and grandmother’s rude behavior shows that she was taught some good values. Hopefully she turns out better than her mother.
Think again. It's not rebellious, it's trendy on tik tok which is all she watches. She has no education and left alone a lot. She loves her mom and acts a lot like her.
Every single time Farrah got a new pet I just go "HUH?!" Never have I seen someone who clearly doesn't see animals as living organisms but as "play things." I thought that was only in movies or cartoons and even then it's not as extreme as this. Spraying dogs because of them barking?! Like that is just insane. and forcing a PUPPY to go in a toilet is just...I don't even know... And the part with Farrah arguing with the animal detective was just on a whole over level, that woman on the other line had the patience of a saint to deal with someone like her and not outright going off on her. Some people don't deserve animals and Farrah is one of them.
I’ll speak only on the dog dye stuff. Her specific case is probably not an ethical case of creative grooming, even if it’s opawz and done by a professional. She’s inherently an unethical dog owner and her dogs are not well taken care of. But my dog? He loves the process. The time we spend bathing him, he adores the massages and scratches. He loves the process because he gets so much love, praise and attention the whole time. He loves the attention from strangers he gets from being dyed too. It’s 100% dog (and cat) safe dye that’s vet approved (by my vet, I implore you to ask your own as well). It’s not toxic to animals. Plus he looks so cute when it’s Christmas or Halloween or Valentine’s Day. He has matching socks and a tail for every holiday! If any of you want to do your own research, I suggest you look into Opawz. And consider looking into the world of creative grooming cause I assure you, these dogs are not abused. They are not being used as props. They are well loved, well cared for animals. Speak to the people directly. They’re usually more than willing to discuss these things.
And not every dog is a candidate for creative grooming. I have 3, only 1 is ever dyed. The other two would not enjoy the process or additional attention so we don’t. 🤷🏻♀️
Yep I don’t get the hate for it! My dog is trained and gets multiple walks a day and I look after him way better than I look after myself! But it’s cute that he has a pink tail, and its not a big deal for him! I also follow a Pom owner who dyes their Pom but does agility with them, their dog is better trained than most of the peoples dogs that would hate on her for dyeing them.
People just hate on what they don't understand. Most groomers have a policy that they won't do creative grooming on new clients or dogs who aren't on regular schedules and very desensitized to grooming. Creative grooming is very time and labor intensive, and the groomer is going to hemorrhage money if they're trying to do it on an animal who doesn't tolerate the process. I personally don't offer creative grooming because I just don't have enough clientele interested to make that supply investment, but I do offer nail caps for cats and dogs and I won't even do that if the animal doesn't let me EASILY clip their nails. I'm not about to get into a wrestling match for 30 minutes and stress the heck out of an animal just to put caps on them that they'll probably bite off since they hate their feet being touched and make $15 for my effort.

I filed numerous reports about the horse and her condition of how she was being kept and looked. She convinced Michael to take care of her but Michael didn't know the best care. Ultimately it is Farrah responsibility which she failed at. I'm glad the county animal control put pressure on her to home the horse appropriately or thy would take the horse away. Now she has to pay to have the horse housed and taken care of but she only visits her very rarely when she wants to film it for IG to make it look like she is a good animal owner. All for the social media.
What’s insane about the stitch puppy is how quickly the pet store just handed him over. I’m currently looking for a kitten to adopt and it’s like jumping through hoops of fire trying to get an approval and adoption done for me I’ve been trying for almost a whole year. Meanwhile they gave a dog abandoner a dog in hours. That’s so crazy to me.
Oh my gosh as a horse person her horse care is terrible!!! on one hand its good she still has it becasue miniature horses are the most abandoned pet up there ( almost more than cats and dogs) many get sold and end up in auctions where they get turned into dog and cat food. Keeping a horse in your backyard is... first of all illegal and she was by herself this is horrible for horses becasue they NEED other horses if you keep a horse alone they get neurotic and mean! A backyard is also not enough space for a horse, also not enough space to run miniature horses are still horses and NEED exercise or else they get fat and there muscles atrophy. Starburst does not look very healthy to me not to mention her hoof care to... its terrible and Farrah is very neglectful thinking the horse only needs hooves to be trimmed twice a year proves to me this woman is not fit to care for a horse at all. The care of the dogs of course is horrendous to! I just focsued more on the horse cus I am more experienced with horses and horse abuse is often...far more overlooked so much horse abuse is normalized.
I had some neighbors growing up until I moved that kept cycling through pets like this. It felt every other time I came over to play they'd have a new pet, or the pet(s) they had before wouldn't be there anymore. I don't know if they were simply re-homed or kept dying. When I was around 7 they adopted a cat and a german shepherd around the same time; the cat and puppy kept fighting tho, so they gave the cat to my family. She was probably almost a year old, and lived with us for the next 12 years until she passed away (she was very, very loved. I still miss her so much). I mention all of this bc a couple of years after we got her and after we moved, my mom put a pic of her up on facebook, and one of the neighbors (the mom) commented on how she was "surprised" we still had her. Like, of course we do.
PLEASE do Jenelle next! She’s had many dogs. Famously, nugget, who her husband shot. And recently, she had a dog who had puppies, and she let them roam freely in her land. David ran one over, neighbors have found them in the road, with worms, and another found dead.
This is a wider problem with influencers and celebrities as whole they get cute pets for the clout but cannot be bothered to train them then the animals just magically disappear

That's not all people had a problem with .. did you watch the whole video? Dyeing a dog is unnecessary, putting clothes on a dog is (usually) unnecessary and treating living creatures like props is gross. You're defending the villian. Maybe you should reexamine your position?
Most animals don't need clothing and really shouldn't be dressed up as it stresses them out and they could get hurt trying to get the clothing off. There are exceptions, mostly for medical reasons or for hairless animals. Most experts will tell you not to dress up your cat or dog. There are some animals that are completely unstressed by it, but by and large, it's best not to do. As for the dye, pet-safe is fine, but it makes no sense to be painting on a horse that was recovering from an injury. Why dye an animal at all? You're putting the animal through an unnecessary and potentially stressful process on top of ordinary grooming. A lot of dogs get stressed out from regular grooming, and some horses don't like it either. In fact I'm pretty sure most horses don't like being crowded, as with little kids painting on them. Are there worse things in this video? Yes. But that doesn't mean that treating your pets like a toddler might treat a Barbie doll is OK.

That halti was tied so tight around the dogs mouth that they couldn't open it. Not to drink, not to pant. Could easily have died from overheating. It's meant as a (questionable, imo) tool to help with leash training, not to physically keep a dog from barking bc it's going mad from boredom. The dye is just a symptom of thinking pets are your property to do with as you please and not respecting their dignity... it doesn't cause that much suffering but it's a very clear red flag.
That clip of the dog being dumped on the side of the road sent me into a sad rage. It's laughable saying animals don't have souls when humans are capable of such evil, abandoning an animal that loves and trusts them so much, like it's a piece of garbage.
I found my dog tied up to this tiny bush in the back of a field when it was 96°F outside, and my dog has found 3 other dumped dogs, one of which my dad took in, and thankfully he did because he went blind shortly after my dad took him in. It makes me absolutely irate to see people abusing and neglecting animals. My dad's dog actually stepped on a baby bee and killed it, so I had to pick it up and move it, and it made me so sad. I just cannot imagine ever purposely hurting an animal😢 I found my dog in July of 2015, and to this day, whenever someone raises their voice, she will go hide and shake like crazy. She also flinched for like a year every time I went to pet her, so im 99.9999% sure her previous owners abused the crap out of her. And she's the most beautiful, sweetest, most loyal, playful, silly dog. AND she's a Chug (chihuahua pug mix) with a double curled tail, so they could have literally sold her and made money off of her. I have even had people show me $3k in cash and try to buy her. But no, they had to not just dump her in a coyote filled field, but they also did it when it was extremely hot outside, AND the worst part about it, is the closest building to where she was dumped, is an animal shelter who takes in animals with no questions asked. It pisses me off to this day that they did that to her. About 3 years after I found her, I went to go on a walk by the field where I found her, but when I pulled into the parking area, she ran to the corner of the back seat and started shaking and she looked absolutely terrified. I quickly realized that she remembers what happened there, and it absolutely breaks my heart thinking about what she went through.😢
its heartbreaking. my first dog we got from a shelter. he was about 2 years old and was abused by his previous owner. we loved him from first sight. the shelter told us he was scared of everyone but he wasnt that scared of us. we didnt even need a lead going to the car. at first he was scared of everyone and would cower in the corner. but soon he learned to trust us. he made it to about 17.5 years old. we decided tp have him out down because he was very old. could barely walk, was almost blind and deaf and he would pee himself every time someone walked into the room. so we wanted him to go in peace. he was one of the sweetest dogs i have ever known.
It's horrible what they did to her, but I'm so happy to know that now She finally is with someone who loves and respects her as She deserve. My mom noticed a dog wondering our neighborhood - she was big, had the face & muscle of a pitbull but had a taller body & spots similar to a Dalmatian. We got her in our yard by bribing her with food on my birthday and I stayed all night outside with her. She escaped the next morning but came back. I have no clue what happened to her wherever she had been before, but it was horrific whatever it was. She had dog bite marks all over her and was TERRIFIED of men, loud noises and being looked at when she ate. If she encountered any of those things, she would urinate and run between my legs and start shaking like I've never seen an animal shake before. If I was in another room, she would claw on the door and whine until I opened it so she could crawl between me. She was so timid that even though she towered over our little shih tzu/yorkie mix & our westie...she let them lead everything. An absolute big baby. I can't understand how anyone can be so cruel to an animal. And Harley (that was her name) was an angel! The sweetest animal I have ever encountered in my life and my brother was a small breeder/trainer so I've been around a lot of dogs. I could weep thinking about what happened to her and all the other fur babies who are abused. 💔 You've got to be an evil POS to hurt an animal.
This is nuts. Why were Americans so relaxed about this? Surely the show received complaints about 4 dogs being in one small crate? Not the mention the way she was handling them and acting like the puppies were toys. "First puppy that we loved." Why did you buy them then? I wouldn't adopt/buy an animal unless I felt a connection. I struggle to believe she has empathy. Dogs, rather famously, lack hands to lift their young. A f-cking gorilla would lift a puppy/kitten with more care. She should be charged for animal neglect and banned from owning animals.
Americans do care, but our laws are outdated, punishments are almost non-existent, and enforcement is lacking. Someone has to really be abusing and outright killing animals to really face any consequences. I saw some police footage not too long ago from my state where a man was keeping more than 100 animals in horrible conditions. He had all kinds like cats and dogs, but also birds, raccoons, various reptiles and amphibians, a goat, etc. Animal control seized the animals, but for some reason he was allowed to keep 2 dogs, and was allowed to start acquiring additional animals after 1 year. He spent 6 days in something called a "community integration center", not even jail time. Basically, no real consequences or even put on a list where he can never own animals again. Many people always tried to report Chris Chan for his neglected animals and animal control was not willing to enforce anything because the animals had food. It's a very low bar. Unfortunately, our politicians are more interested in giving tax breaks to the wealthy and waging culture wars than passing legislation that actually would help any human or other living creature. :(

I had a black cat named Abra Catdabra, and she unexpectedly got pregnant (not good, I know). We helped take care of the kittens until they weened, and we found good homes for all of them. Well, until one came back. He was all-black with yellow eyes. We named him Black Panther and the little fart is still with us. I have learned to love him so much, and he is the sweetest boy around. I couldn't imagine putting him through this treatment. As I'm writing this, I'm out of town and I couldn't bring him. I miss him so much every time I leave. How someone could do this to their animals is way beyond my comprehension. She doesn't need to own animals.
People who named their animals names like prince princess Porsche cupcake sweetheart Gucci baby ect are always the ones who neglect their dogs grooming letting them get matted and complain when they have to be shaved and treat their animals like accessories. They're also the ones who tend to bite the most.

When she pulled up that poor French bulldog-puppy, a breed known for so many painful issues anyway, by nothing but its little legs... I honestly lost it. How has she not been arrested for animal abuse? What does she do once the cameras are off, if this is her at her best behaviour? What does she do to the pets then? To the children?!
