i will admit jeffree has said some incredibly incredibly awful things, but i genuinely believe they came from a place of hurt and anger, not evil and hatred.

You can really tell who Jeffree is as a person by the way he treats other people. The way he treats his old landlord you can tell he treated her well when he lived there.

When I saw Jeffree’s scars I just felt that so much- He said that parents don’t understand and they think that they’re losing their child and it fucks up the relationship. It really does. Looking at my arm now I don’t really feel anything, it’s just marks on the left arm you know? Back then, I was an angry person so I took it out on my arm, on myself. Love Jeffree and Shane. Jeffery’s cutting story is SO close to mine, it’s almost scary!! I’m now 31yrs old & still to this day, I wear full length pants & tops to hide my cutting scars from years ago & the only people that know why are my Mum & partner of 7yrs… I’m terrified of needles & don’t want to have to cover my legs & arms in tattoos for myself so I just keep covered up 24/7, my partner of 7yrs has never even seen me fully naked before because of it. My legs are much worse than my arms cause that was the main place I did it, so people wouldn’t see. It was never an “attention thing”, I did everything I could to hide it & kept it hidden from everyone for many years, till my Mum walked in on me doing it one day, I didn’t even hear her come home & I was absolutely mortified!! It’s still a secret & shame I hide to this day. I’m very thin (can never gain weight) so people assume that’s why I’m in long pants & long sleeves 24/7 cause I’m embarrassed about that too, but the real reason is to hide my scars. I had 2 deep scars very close together on my wrist which I got my BFF’s name who died tattooed over but I physically can’t bring myself to completely tattoo my whole body to cover them all, even getting that tattoo was extremely hard so I just keep covered up. I get frustrated when it’s boiling hot & I’m dying from heat but literally can’t wear summer clothes. I’ve hardly ever gone to the beach with friends, never gone swimming cause I can’t wear shorts or a bikini because of it, I don’t want anyone to know or see. My partner hates I went through that before we met but he’s so supportive & proud of how far I’ve come. On the rare times I go to the beach with my partner (cause I really do love the beach), he’ll always drive us up the beach in his 4WD to where no one else is & even though I still don’t feel comfortable enough to wear shorts or a bikini, at least I don’t feel like everyone’s staring at me for being in the water in full length jeans & long sleeve shirt. He always wears a full length shirt & long shorts too so I don’t feel so out-of-place if someone else walks or drives by. I’m very lucky to have such a supportive & compassionate partner even though his mind can’t grasp why anyone would do that to themselves or even get the thought to… I think the hardest part about it all is knowing how far I’ve come, having everyone around me being so proud of how far I’ve come, I’ve beat addiction, severe abuse, homelessness & everything inbetween, but my body full of scars is what’s still holding me back & reminding me every day. They won’t just go away so it’s kinda like no matter how far you’ve come, it’s still holding onto you. I guess that’s something you don’t even consider at the time cause back then, I never thought I’d come through the other side & I needed it at the time, or so I thought, it was somewhat like an addiction in itself, it’s scary what the mind can do when it’s not well… Anyway, everyone’s struggle with it is different, but Jeffrey’s is so similar to mine then & now that I felt the need to chime in & in a strange way, it’s kinda felt good to offload my secret here, even if it’s to a group of total strangers in a different country, but maybe that’s the whole point… Much love to all & a big thank you to Shane & Jeffrey for doing this!!! 💜💜💜💜

Can people open their eyes to the fact depression doesn’t look at people’s ages. It will make anyone suffer from the ages of 5 to 105. So when someone tells you they are depressed believe them. They may not actually have depression but the fact they have the knowledge of depression and opened up is enough for someone to see them. To notice them

People who have been through abuse often internalize and cope by unconsciously abusing/bullying others and I think there is some of that going on with Jeffrey. I haven’t followed closely but this is the impression I get.

It's literally 2022 and I'm still watching these videos for motivation to keep strong. I wish Jeffrey Star could read this.. but, what you have achieved and who you have become is literally EVERYTHING TO ME. You help me get through my depression and anxiety and I'm so very thankful. Bless you!!

When he says he kept things "here where it's safe" is exactly how I felt when I had depression and pretended to be happy in front of my parents so it wouldn't upset them, but I was dying inside.

This whole series had me going through a ride of mixed emotions. From laughing from the bottom of my lungs to being shocked to crying and to being left, in the end, speechless. I always liked Jeffree but this series made me gain this whole new level of respect and appreciation for him. He is truly an inspiration and thank you Shane for helping him show us the real Jeffree Star!

As someone who has self harmed, it is really inspiring to see someone like Jeffrey exposing his scars. No matter what you think of him, it is amazing everything he has been through and where he is now. I feel like he is very genuine when he’s talking about his past.
