Diane, have you tried the Kuretake Granulating Colours set as yet? I would love to hear your opinion and find out how you would use these paints. I find it very difficult to attain the exact volume of each colour. I enjoy your ability of selecting the right colours just by looking at the colour in the palette. Thank you for sharing.
Hi friends . Those living in the US this Kuretake 48 pc set is on sale with a additional 10% off on Amazon right now . For those with Prime it’s $39 which is considerably less expensive I have ever seen it . Usually they are close to $50 for the set . Also Kuretake has a gorgeous gold dip pen ink I use to accent my paintings it’s on sale too you can use it like Diane uses her gold pens😊.
I have the set of Kuretaki paints that you recommended some time ago. It’s a set of 36 and I have to say that I can paint quite a bit without having to mix colors but when I do mix them, they come out very nicely with a very rich pigment.
Your cat speaks to you in much the same way as mine speaks to me! He didn't speak at all when he first moved in with us, but in the two years he's been with us he's developed quite a vocabulary.
What a clever idea Diane…your creativeness knows no bounds when you are out and about in your garden. Your self made reminder notes on words and doodles is fabulous….grateful thanks to your chanel Diane, always still here watching to the end❤❤❤
So glad I found this, I have already asked for this set as a birthday gift from my daughter, which I will receive in 3 days time, so excited to try them out, thanks Diane 🥰
You never cease to amaze me. You started with the strawberry, then leaves with a variety of shades. Isolated them, matched the paint to create a limited palette, painted random blocks and embellished them with the golds. It turned out like a masterpiece! I could imagine this framed and hung….. or …. printed to make a beautiful shower curtain. I am just amazed. I never was able to study color theory, this has opened a whole new mindset for me for creating a limited palette with the hope of elevating my art to a new level. Thank you. (I’m guilty of trying to use too many colors).
I always stay to the end, I hate the thought of missing any part of your lovely videos. Oreo! A most adorable cat! And another lovely page of paint and doodles. Thank you Mx
Diane I love watching your videos they are so inspiring. I always feel as if I have had a chat with a good friend and been given a big hug and told that whatever I do it will be fine. Thank you so much for the effort you put into producing them. Please never stop and I’m sure I’m not the only one who always watches them to the end ❤
Hi Diane! The colors are just beautiful! Nature gives us beautiful colors and you have used them so nicely. Having fun is important and you demonstrate it so well. I just loved seeing all the kitties eating and the beautiful Siamese in the garden and the beautiful Goldens are just precious! Thank you for a great video and learning process!😊❤😻🦮🦮
This is so gorgeous and I am definitely inspired❣️. I’ve got a page painted & ready to doodle and boy, you know how to finish off the gorgeousness ❣️. Thank you💜🦋
I love how this has turned out. Words that come to mind are autumn, sunshine and warmth and a really great way to get a harmonious colour palette which is all natural nature! When you do these doodle paintings I wonder what the end result will be and it’s always wonderful and dare I say…….pretty! Thank you.
This is the most interesting way to create a palate/swatch card! I’m intrigued to make one of these with Autumn leaves when I feel well enough to paint again! Thank you for the look into the strawberry garden!
I love my Kuretaki set, I had that particular set for my birthday a few years ago and this year I recieved the Art Nouveau. I love them both and I find you get fantastic salt effects with these paints, have you tried that salt effects with them? X
I waited until the very end and watched your”fur babies” begin eating their lunch. Even still with you when the black & white cat jumped down from the bookcase. Hope you have a good time in Egypt. Hopefully not too hot. We are visiting my husband’s sons in Germany, will go back to Croatia before we go home October 1.
Diane, have you ever tried to put the Schminke leftover “made” paint into a container to store? Am wondering if it would maintain its integrity if sealed/stored properly. I desperately want to buy some, but I’m not keen on dumping the leftover into the ecosystem, if I can help it.
It looks like a deliciously fun page. Since I have the same Coliro and Kuretake plus something called Luminosa from Etsy I can try this too and I will. I love it. XOXOJANE
Ohh, don't pretend you don't let cats on the counter! All of us that have kitties know that cats lay claim to counter space. Of course I tell everyone that my cats absolutely never jump on the counter😅 !! Absolutely fascinating art work, loved it.
I always watch to the end! But I did have to turn off the sound briefly while you stirred that bronze paint, hahaha. It was like scratching a blackboard for me! You give me so many fun ideas to try and I'm very thankful.
Garden centres in the UK are already selling christmas decorations, and playing jingles! Awful. Beautiful mix of colours, I love it. Listening to, and seeing your animals, is the icing on the cake. Thank you
Diane, I sooo love all your furbabies!! The doggies look like twins. I have two orange tabby kittie boys who are great company. I have A smaller set of these watercolor paints, and am fixing to do a little bookmark, loosely keeping with what you've done here. I chose 5 nice "Fall" colors to play with, and I have 2 or 3 bookmarks ready and itching for me to paint something on them so, here we go! Thanks for your wonderful inspiration here.
@@DianeAntoneStudio I am fixing to post to my fb page the 2 Bookmarks I did this evening based on your yt channel instruction here!! I quite cried over how they turned out!! I would have never thought to do a little piece of artwork thusly, and I am just REALLY AMAZED by what my efforts accomplished with these Bookmarks! Thank you sooo very much, Diane, for your inspiration that made me try/do these!!
Oh no! I discovered some Kuretake colors I don’t have, and I have a lot. I just love your idea of using nature’s colors to create a palette. I’m going to do that right after I buy these missing colors! Also, is your square palette tin? I too have moved my K paints from their original box to a tin palette and attached magnets to avoid sliding around. I am a Daniel Smith fan, but find Kuretake is a wonderful companion..thank you for this video.
What size is that palette that you so cleverly assembled. I really like your style of communicating! Also I didn’t catch the name of the company that produces that swatching grid. Please and thank you!
Hi and thanks for your kind comment and question! The swatching grid (with 9 square spaces?) is home made. I can give you dimensions if you like. The palette where I keep my Kuretake paints measures 13 inches square and is the lid to a large Meeden palette: Meeden Large Studio Palette with Lid amzn.to/3MscDSg Hope this helps! Diane x
I’ve been trying for a few days to sign up on your website to get the sketches but can never seem to get an email confirmation to get it. Is there a secret. I absolutely love you videos ❤️
