Hopefully he turns out to be something, but I'm not counting on it. This is the same organization that fucked up with the no. 2 and 3 picks because it doesn't have people capable of developing a QB, which is why they banked last season on an ancient Green Bay QB and are doing the same this year as the guy returns (at 40 years old) from an Achilles tear. As a Jets fan, I feel for the kid. He seems like a good dude, too bad he didn't end up with a real NFL franchise.
My 10 year old son Gizmo pointed out to me that J.T. escapes pockets like Patty Maholmes. Thank you Brendan Sonnone for the AWESOME Breakdown! Thanks again brothers! 🫡👏👏👏💚
If Jordan turns out to be a Tyrod Taylor type QB that's a great pick ,I think he will be some where in between a Tyrod Taylor and Kurt Cusins type QB if all goes right that injury definitely hurt his draft stock, but he Lands in great spot to Learn and grow I love this pick low risk high reward
We need a field general. A pocket passer who can pick the defense apart. I hope Aaron can show him the intelligence side and not the new model of qb “check off and run”
@@brianmaietta right mean either. I guess my point is that question is difficult to answer for the simple fact that nobody can predict what a good or great QB will be in the NFL. It. Be the most difficult position to predict.
@@emiliothepoet I agree. I didnt say he would be bad or good. I just said i think we need a fill general vs. the trend of rb/qb hybrids. I hope Aaron influences his development that way.
@@emiliothepoet you guys can't have it both ways. Jet fans applaud what DJ says about jet prospects but reject it when he's not high on a jet prospect.
@@danielmeehan1756 I hear you but my question is a serious question. I don’t read too much into QB analysis because most fail. But the only reason I’m high on this kid is because it seems like he has good short pass accuracy and can make plays on his feet. As a Jet fan if he’s better than Chad Pennington it’s a win.
You may be right but im open to interpretation. Zach came into the league with the worst possible situation. Had to start for a very poor roster with a rookie head coach, brand new staff (also on fact I think he was drafted too high but w/e). With JT he he is surrounded by one of the most talented squads in the league and a chance to sit back and learn from one of the all time great QB's of the game and one of the best journeymen QB's today, surrounded by a much more experienced coaching staff, etc. I may be talking out my ass but I'd really hope they don't make the same mistake twice.
JT has alot of work to do to be a NFL caliber QB his highlight reel isn't so spectacular most of his contested throws were behind or under thrown where the reciever had to adjust and make semi acrobatic catches he is nothing more than a project player with a bit of upside because he can run making him out to be more at this stage is a real reach
