Yep. I’m living proof of that, my dad has always been here for me. We spent a lot of together still do, we also still have conversations and because my dad has always been here for me provided and gave me anything I asked for, it’s very difficult for men 😂 I knew what to look for at an early age, we all make mistakes but because my dad was there and showed me how a man is suppose to treat a woman, ion take no shit and yes, I ask a lot and expect a lot from a man. I met Sommore back in ‘98. When asked how Nia was doing, I got the sense that she didn’t want to talk about her. Come to find out that they weren’t on speaking terms and they didn’t have anything to do with each other. I hope that has changed.

Her healing with her dad. Helped me see my dad's lack of presence from a different view. Im grateful for him just being here and bringing me in the world. With prayer, I can trust God with my dad's relationship without harboring bitterness and resentment w/o being frustrated without being upset when I see him calling his girlfriend children's names of endearment like he would call me (my mom as well). God said he's a mother to motherless and father to fatherless. I'm. A testimony to that ! God is still amazing!!!
I understand your sentiment, however, holding on to resentment and not taking opportunities to know about a parent is not healthy for the person with the resentment because it changes nothing in the object of the resentment. For me, I chose to view it as they gave me life which is more than anyone else in this world will ever do for me. What I do with that life is up to me.
I love Nia Long. I met her at her moving sale in Los Angeles on Hayworth St. She had put all of her furniture out on her lawn for sale. I bought clothes and furniture from Nia Long. She’s such a beautiful, friendly, down to earth woman. We love you Trina Girl.

I remember when she was dating Peter in the 90’s. He owned a restaurant on South Beach called Savannah’s. I use to work there is a hostess. Nia use to come by with him and she was super rude. We spoke to her and she never answered just came in with a sour face. She thought we wanted Peter. Girl please! Peter haven’t paid us a penny up to this day. We went to work one day and the place was shut down by the sheriffs. Peter does not like to pay his bills.

I don't have any thoughts on her dating history but she lives part-time in my city of San Antonio, TX... where Udoka was an assistant coach for the Spurs. I have run into her several times at the Whole Foods in my neighborhood and she is absolutely STUNNING. And every tike I said hello, she was sweet and smiled ... and greeted me back.

I have twin daughter's they both were A student and Mr Long love those girls he always boast about them and he told my girls about his daughter Nia long and I was excited and looking out for her to see her movie and I told my girls his daughter she's beautiful, this is real story . I have never seen any pictures of Nia without makeup until now and she is a natural beauty. I really wish we as women would just embrace our God given beauty more often. The makeup and lashes are cool from time to time, but that NATURAL has a wow factor.

I didn't get married until I was 39 and my husband was 42, first for both and 6yrs in February going strong! You know, you absolutely know.. Nia Long is a superb actress. Like her I do not believe a man or woman has to say "! Do" to prove he or she love someone, or to have a happy or wholesome family. As an impoverished single mother, I never found a good man, but my children and I are in a good place in our lives. I got a college degree at the age of 62 (took me 42 years), and graduated with college with my daughter, and also, I am overjoyed with that grand accomplishment. God bless Nia and her entire family.
