Anne is one of the busiest royals. But not a crowd gathering person because some of the things she has said in the past. I.e Naff Off. Took after her father. Her husband stays behind her where is supposed to be I guess.
Yeah i agree, great that he doesn’t take millions off arms dealers like our new king or has super injunctions out against certain media hiding his affairs and his sexual habits like Prince William
Many years ago I read a a snarky article by one of the palace staff saying Sir Laurence was pretty much the bartender for the Royals and not much else. Although it is said he is "busy" with his charities, I have yet to see or hear about him going solo to a charitable event. It appears as though he accompanies Anne to her events where he's occasionally spotted, so I suspect Anne wears the pants in the family and runs the show while he stirs the martinis.
The royal yacht did not belong to the royal family. It belonged to the people of Britain. Samar as some of the castles. The Royals used it for foreign visits.
@@misscoutts6193 I think the public were allowed on it after it was de commissioned. They were allowed to look a the luxurious surroundings these privileged people are used to.
The Britannia was a ship of the Royal Navy, it did not belong to the Queen however it was used as a Royal Yacht however it was designed that it could be used as a military's hospital ship if needed. All Royal Navy ships have the prefix HMS, Her Majesty's Ship, but that doesn't mean it is really hers.
I have seen Americans refer to the great Winston Churchill as ‘Sir Churchill’ and a young U.S. actress who acted with Sir Alec Guinness in ‘Our Man In Havana’ referred to him as ‘Sir Gwines’. I think it is because they assume that a knighthood simply upgrades their ‘Mr’ and assume that ‘’Sir’ is used in the same way.
It's a misconception that white symbolises virginity, apparently, it was to symbolise wealth i.e. only the wealthy could afford something which had no practical day-to-day use or use on other formal occasions.
I guess it helps her deal with her lack of being able to deal with, what? to post pictures of her on her Facebook page, whilst others in the family were not. It was supposed to be about the Queen, not Meghan. The sign of an insecure, narcissist person.
I admire Princess Anne but I don’t understand why she doesn’t try to fix herself up if only a little bit. We are all busy but it wouldn’t take 5 minutes to put on a little mascara, maybe blush and a little powder. It is the subtle way of telling the world what she thinks of them. Just my thoughts only
@@fraces6001 All women have the time, if only a few minutes to put on a bit of eye shadow, mascara, blush and lip stick. For whatever reason, she chooses not to. Her mother, the Queen wore lipstick.
