He , Sir Tim reminds me of Prince Phillip , in the same manner, he really loves HR , and respects her He is nearly always with on her Royal duty’s always smiling and polite to others in the back ground , backing her up in all manners , like the Prince Phillip , the Navy , impeccable manners towards all , and does such a good job , caring and loving , and not jealous of her duty’s , a very down to earth couple , love respect and caring ,equality . Respect to this Mega couple . Melbourne Australia
Actually, I think Sir Timothy is more attractive than Mark Phillips. Perhaps it is partially that his face shows more character and intelligence than that of Anne's first husband. He has certainly made a much better husband.
Princess Ann and husband seem very happy . Princess Ann is hard working lovely woman with the respect of all. True loving and straight to point person no drama nor drama . Very wonderful to see this to introduce her husband lovely thank you.
Princess Anne is one of my favourite Royals. Many years ago a friend used to be in the Australian Navy. One time they were visiting an English port and young Princess Anne happened to be there on an official engagement. When she found out that there was an Australian Navy ship there, she summoned a boat and went over to say hello to the sailors. Friend said that she was funny and completely at ease with them. She couldn't stay long because of other engagements but the fact that she took time out to go over and say hello to them meant a lot to them.
Sir Timothy is a gentleman with a distinguished career in the navy and government position. He loves his wife, does not seek the limelight and sometimes accompanies his wife, Princess Anne on Royal engagements. For those who recognize him, he would be spotted walking from his London office to Buckingham Palace to have pre- Christmas lunch with the Queen and extended family. He was recently seen with his wife, the Princess Royal Anne, as they accompanied Queen Elizabeth's body from Scotland to London. I am happy for Sir Tim and Princess Anne.
My observation of Sir Timuthy Laurence is an unassuming Royal simply happy the be no body yet a man of great service behind as Sir Timuthy Laureence to the country a desired quality of any future Royals.
Sir Timothy is brilliant. Totally loyal and discreet. He seems contented and perfectly at ease in his position. After all his not inconsiderable achievements are his honestly earned x
Camilla and Timothy has the same way to thinking. Just work and get on with it, and don't comment on anything the press have to say. They are both Marriage into the family after having an affair with their now spouses. I am happy to see, that the royal family now can marry out of love. You can see that Both Anne and Charles are happy with their spouses, and get their support for them.
HRH Anne The Princess Royal is I humbly believe the best of the Queen's children. Diligent and the most hardworking. She outclasses her brother Andrew by miles. She deserves more recognition.
Angela GAN she is not always the most hardworking royal, but the press make it look that way Charles performs more engagements in one day, but he is very busy with other things Anne can spread her engagements over more days as she has more free time so the press look at the number of days she spreads her engagements over not a fair way theres very few engagements between them, in a normal year its over 500 but Charles does private engagements which aren't counted, some of the Queen's duties plus such as his work with The Prince's Trust etc
@Vicky Cadd it wasn't a belittling tone, i've always been a fan of Anne's, but she is a younger sibling things are more relaxed for them, they do have more time this year the Festival of British Eventing will be back at Gatcombe Park which she loves and is involved in but what has the military appointments that used to be our Queen Mother's got to do with anything and why would any of The Queen's Military Appointments pass to a woman a Monarch inherits most of their Military Appointments from the previous Monarch so she inherited most of them from her father and Charles will inherit them also The Monarch inherits most of their patronages, so the Queen has patronages that were originally Queen Victoria's and these will be inherited by Charles they won't pass to Camilla or the others and Charles packs more engagements because he has other work, The Queen's duties, The Duchy of Cornwall, The Prince's Trust, Dumfries House, The Privy Council are just some so it is more than an illusion that he has a bigger workload, even members of the family call him a workload and its not a criticism of Anne and The Duchy of Cornwall will pass to William, and The Duchy of Lancaster will pass to Charles and harry being brought back into the family doesn't mean he'll become a working royal again they are earning money and public opinion here does matter
@Vicky Cadd she didn't inherit any Royal Appointments from The Queen Mother its only Monarchs who inherit them from previous Monarchs and the Queen Mother was a Dowager Queen and Charles will become Colonel in Chief of the all the Household division
Princess Anne second time round definitely big improvement, this man is dutiful loving and kind and what we as woman love “faithful. “He reminds me if the late Princess father. “Well done “.
I really haven't followed the royals very much but when watching all the things with the Queen's funeral, I had noticed that man, and was immediately drawn to find out more about him, just because of his personal dignity and the air he had. He is a very handsome man, and has obvious devotion to Princess Anne and to the late Queen. He and Prince Edward's kids were my favorites I learned more about during the last month.
@@annhewett9622 you sounds like a bitter lady that has beter looks than HRP Anne and therefore your sting on the affair. Just glad that HRP Ann found happiness. The same with Prince Charles. His wife Camilla may not have your beautiful looks nor Diana's looks, but she makes Prince Charles happy.
What proof do we have that the comment you refer to was made by a beautiful woman? No photo on her comment! Maybe she's as ugly as sin, just a musing on my part. Rumours are very dangerous things. The Met were possibly required to act because of rumours. Was any first hand evidence of such a relationship ever found? I suspect not. We all prefer to see ourselves as whiter than snow in our own lives, yet we know we are not. It appears that the comment was made by someone who apparently considers herself to be whiter than white, no matter what the subject.
@@carolempluckrose4188 I am today soooo happy I am not as white as snow. Just the thought that I am going to melt in the sun makes my head spinning.😇😊🙃
Princess Anne and Sir Timothy seem like a very happy and loving couple. I adore Princess Anne. It was a pleasure learning more about Sir Timothy. He’s a gentleman! He’s also secure in his manhood. Very good qualities, for sure. Much happiness for them.
I’m happy for them, and he seems to have had a wonderful relationship with Anne’s children, which just seems to be getting better now they are adults and Anne’s grandchildren
I’m impressed with this Gentleman. I doubt he cheats on Princess Anne. They strike me as a “real” & darling couple. He’s a real man capable & true blue to his spouse.
@@simongarthwaite7695 The kidnapping attempt of Princess Anne wasn't presented in The Crown, because presenting the Princes Royal in a positive, heroic and courageous light didn't fit the narrative of the anti-monarchist sentiment of The Crown's producer as well as the propaganda that he was presenting. Most of the material in the The Crown, while based loosely on fact, it is deliberately written in such a way manner that is only loosely accurate which is designed to boost people's dislike for the British Monarchy as well as increase more people interest in abolishing the Monarchy as Head of State of the UK by changing the UK form of government from a constitutional monarchy to a republic and replacing the UK head of state with an elected head of state.
@@jacquelinebarber-dixon5316 like how they just glossed over Andrews military service as well in particular the front line service he saw in the Falklands. I enjoy the Crown to a point but I think anyone with any sense knows its not a history lesson and that there are agendas at play as with so many tv/ movie situations now.
My wife is cousin to the wife of a military associate of Tim L and they worked together in Admiralty house. my claim to fame is just knowing that fact. Also my late Uncle used to have dinner with the Duke of Edinburgh . I am but a street urchin if the truth is known.
I love Princess Ann she is truly wonderful in every way and Sir Timothy Lawrence is also. They make a wonderful team. The way he supports Princess Ann reminds me of the relationship between Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip.
Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence is certainly an asset to the RF. He is a man of quiet dignity and impeccable manners. The fact that he was an officer in the Royal Navy has given him a strong sense of duty and loyalty. So it is understandable why Princess Anne has called him "her rock", in the same way that Her Majesty The Queen described Prince Philip - "he has quite simply been my strength and stay, all these years".
@@lsmith9249 You are correct that he is not a Senior ("working") Royal ... i.e. those who attend royal engagements on behalf of HMTQ. This is why he was not included when that official photo was taken in Nov 2021 of the current Senior Royals, which was dubbed "The Magnificent Seven" ! The photo included (standing beside HMTQ) Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince William and Catherine, Prince Edward and Sophie, and Princess Anne. Sir Timothy was not included because he is, as you say, not a "working royal", and does not personally represent the Queen on any royal engagement. But it is nice to know that he accompanies his wife on her tours and events whenever it is appropriate. Since he was previously an Equerry to the Queen, he knows his way around royal protocol, which must be very helpful in supporting his wife.
@@vandatavna7681 they don't all attend royal engagements on behalf of the Queen they all support the Queen in her state and national duties, but they have they have their own charitable work our press make it confusing, Edward, Sophie and Anne are doing exactly the same as they've always done Tim's always supported his wife in some, he goes to her military duties
This gentleman, Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, has behaved impeccably supporting Princess Anne since the late Queen died. He is a credit to the Royal family and must be a steady, beneficial brother-in-law for the new King Charles.
Princess Ann is a Legand and an Icon. I love and respect her no nonsense approach, her hard working ethos. Her Royal Highness should be Queen, she has all the qualifications. She is regal, dutiful, loyal, Gracious, and conscientious.
NO she shouldn't be Queen....and she is far from "Gracious". Charles is the right choice. He will be a good transitionary monarch until William is old enough and ready to step into the role.
@@leilal8053 Do you know her? Have you met her? When you have walked in her shoes, and done all she has done you can be profound in your hypobile. She doesn't need any character reference from anybody!!!
if Princess Anne had been born first, I would agree with you. However, she wasn't. And she hasn't always been so gracious, her language towards the Press is famous. (and good for her, they deserved everything she called them)
YES!!!! Far ahead of Tampon Charles and Horseface Rottweiller Homewrecker Camilla. Two beauts!!!!! I just cannot accept them ever as king & queen. No morals and still questions about Diana's tragic death...
thank god the other royal family members are being shared with the world as they are supporting there family and loved ones in this crazy making times. its cool to see Zara and royal princess Anne and family sharing the lime light and all there good work and appreciated for the good of the world as we admire the royal monachy around the world king William and his queen of hearts have stepped up there game now that we call know that methane markel and gingerly man child has left the building the royal family is TRUELY GETTING ON WITH IT lol wonderful to see and watch USA CANADA UK INDIA work ther magic powers. in behaviour sciences and mental health study understanding laws and rules of land and human nature and behaviour and medication through mediation cool anyways to see secret ingredient ( PRA princessroyalanne) ) sharing her stardust and kindhearted sprite.rock on royals. the queen is having a epic celebration all year long as well all night long king William ands queen of hearts Kate both will be 40. yahoo an June party like ts the queens COMING AIVE celebrations cuz she be da BOSS LADY for how long now?? ya thats right going on 70 years . how cool is that .
I always respected P.A. and questioning why doesn't she got involved more in the RF work. Now she has appeared in the right timing assisting her mother the Queen and united with other RF members. She is great 👍 👏 ❤
I agree, Princess Anne is great! In fact, she has always been one of the most "hard working" members of the RF over the years, attending charitable and ceremonial events, but we tend not to hear about her activities very often, because she is not covered much in the national press. This is probably because journalists cannot work up enough "sensational headlines" about her, so they concentrate on other members of the RF instead! She has been quite busy so far this year, planting trees for the Queen's Green Canopy initiative, and visiting Paris, as well making the recent tour to Australia and Papua New Guinea to celebrate Platinum Jubilee events. And all done in a very down-to-earth way. She is a marvel!
@@vandatavna7681 While Anne was working harder than any other Royal the press was concentrating on the airhead Diana who actually did very little work.
I think she has always been very involved in Royal duties. It just doesn't get as much reporting. Like her tour in Australia and Papua New Guinea recently, she just got on with it, simply and with dedication.
@@jessicathompson5778 Charles has done absolutely no damage! His only crime was not loving "Saint" Diana. People blame him for loving Camilla while Diana was sleeping with Barry Mannakee ("the love of my life" ), James Hewwitt, Will Carlin, Oliver Hoare, etc.
The Princess Royal and Prince Edward have always been my favourites of the Queen's children. TPR didn't want her children to have titles where as M and H do even though they're not working Royal's anymore
Sir Tim sounds good for sure, year older than me. I have an older brother same age. First time I've heard someone is potty on someone else. Thank you Merci beaucoup sawadee Khap.🤠
I have a great deal of respect for Princess Anne. She’s always ready to do what is needed to represent the BRF. I personally believe Prince Charles would be a fool to leave her out of representing the family, unless, of course she wishes to retire.
Me too. Fortunately they seem toget on well together. They were caught at aformal reception one sneaking up on the other and tickling them with a wholehearted laugh between them despite the formal surroundings.
I had to watch this video a few times. I love the “comfy“ picture. It reminds me of my living room lol ( I can now say that I live like a Princess ) 😊 They make a lovely couple 💕
I simply adore the Princess Anne Royal. I'm so thrilled that the Princess has found her soul mate. I couldn't be happier for the Princess Royal and Sir Timothy Lawrence. They seem so much in love without all the unnessary PDA. May they have a rich and full live with nothing but happiness and good health. Aslo, the Princess Anne's two children are so special, and you can tell they had a fantastic upbringing. They are well mannered and polite. And they love and adore Her Majesty the Queen of England. Zara is just so beautiful and lady like. You can see how much she loves her Mum, her step father and her 3 children. She's quite the lady , just like her Mum, the Princess Royal. And the Princess Royal is by far, bar none, the hardest working Royal. The Princess Royalbdoes her duties in a quiet way, she doesn't need the accolades, the lady knows what her duties are, and does so to perfection. Her one( of many) charities, Feed the Children holds a special place in her heart. What would the world do without her, the Princess just rolls her sleeves up and gets on with it; without any fanfare, or accolades. The Princess is extremely special to me. I'm Canadian, but that has nothing to do with my admiration for the Princess Royal. She's one lady to be admired for all she does. And the loving way she is with her Mum, it's not fake. The.Princess Royal truly loves her family and it shows.
@Brenda Needle It is very rare to see footage of Princess Anne attending an event of one of her patronages, and it is even more rare to see Sir Timothy accompanying her, so when he does accompany her, I just can’t get enough of seeing them together. They are such a sweet couple without excessive PDA. I usually replay the video multiple times, because they are such a charming couple, and he is such a fascinating man in his own rights.
Brenda Needle Our Queen's younger children once got plenty of attention, the attention is focused on those closest to the throne and Anne was 4th in line in the 60s and 70s, But as new generations are born those who are not heirs drop down the line of succession, when Princess Alexandra was born she was 6th in line to the throne, she's now 57th, Anne will get less and less attention, at the moment she is the Sovereign's daughter but she will be the Sovereign's sister and if she's still living when william becomes King she'll be the Sovereign's aunt and Zara has been accused of using her royal connections to make money and so was Peter
Princess Royal Ann is my favorite Royal, always has been. There is something about her steady, no nonsense personality that I’ve always admired. She gets the job done with or without recognition and that is the right way to go about it.
I admire the couple. They both seem responsible, hard working, and loyal to the Queen. Princess Anne is my age so I grew up reading quite a bit about her early life, all the way up to her first marriage.
Like the queens husband comfortable in who they are doesn't need the lime light to be happy they look content and happy together just like the queen and prince Philip.
There are so many parallels between Prince Philip and Sir Timothy. Sir Timothy is such a beautiful asset for the Royal family just like Duchess Katherine is. Such assets is what the „firm“ needs. Pronce Philip and Sir Timothy of are both the rock and main stay for their spouses, the Queen and Princess Anne. I just hope that Princess Anne will not have the same process to go through like her mother. I am in great sorry for her Majesty the Queen. She seems to have less and less power since Prince Philip has passed. It is as if she longs to follow her husband to the rainbow meadow.
Yes, and in a few hours the Queen will be buried next to her beloved Prince; Sir Timothy has definitely proven to be Princess' :rock" in this hard last week. He reminds me so much of Prince Philip; we girls who adore our fathers do best with a man like them. I am German and always loved Prince Philip and his family; we must not forget that she was also a wife, and her beloved husband's death took its toll. May they both be happily re-united and rest in peace. My condolences to all the British people.
What a thoroughly lovely sentiment and comment. We do indeed love Princess Anne and I have no doubt Sir Timothy looks after her extremely well. And she him.
I was once told by a high ranking officer Timothy Lawrence gave up his career when he married the princess royal. He had the capacity to become First Sea Lord.
Very pleasant and I hope it's all true! The real fairy tale is finding your soul mate and growing old together. They key to forever and riding off in the sunset isn't about fame, fortune or popularity it is in being true to yourselves and those you love.
Two strong women... With two exceptionally strong sturdy men to support them. Lucky ladies. HMTQ & Princess Anne. Both their husbands loyal and rock solid!! We need more real men in this world!! 🙏🙏🤔🤷🙋🌍
The perfect husband for her. Strong, loyal and secure. Not trying to steal the light. Much better than some others like the toxic three. Diana, Fergie and Meg.

As an American, raised in a Protestant Church "descended" from the early New England churches of Puritans and Pilgrims, I will never understand why the Church of England wouldn't (still doesn't?) allow someone who is divorced to remarry in the Church. The Church of England was created because Henry VIII wanted a divorce! Maybe some want to say he was seeking an annulment, but be real. He was seeking a divorce from Catherine of Aragon. Then he ended the marriage to another wife through an "annulment" and executed two more wives as a short-cut version of divorce. I'm surprised divorce isn't a sacrament in the Church.
Decisions on issues such as recognising Divorce and re -marriage , Gay Marriage , Abortion etc are made by Bishops, Clergy and Lay delegates from the world wide Anglican/Episcopal Church. The more conservative African churches have sometimes over-ruled the Church in England on some major issues
As a life long veteran, Tim knows duty, orders, respect, the need to be circumvent, qualities valued by the RF. Also knowing the " workings" of the RF & familiarity of various members has stood him in good stead. Glad as senior citizens Anne & Tim can enjoy their years togather.
Love is lovelier the second time around.♥️Cupid worked in their favor. Princess Anne and Sir Timothy are just a perfect Royal couple. Princess Anne has been referred to as the hardest working royal and has been a role model for her simplicity and demeanor.👏🤗
Interestingly Tim Laurence although born an Anglican is of Jewish origin, his ancestor was called Levy & changed the name to Laurence after arriving in England in the 18th century from Venice. He is of course a highly intelligent, capable & honest man who like Princess Anne is hardworking & very likeable.
Sit Timothy is very visible member of royal family. Dignified, quiet he does everything whats asked. He deserves recognition not only as princess royal Anne, by his own merit.
It's too bad Timothy never had kids prior to marrying Anne. I bet they would have been cute. Although she was in her 40's when they married, it is too bad he and Anne never had kids either. Never knew he was almost threatened with treason for getting involved with Anne back in the day, I was in my early 20's when all 3 royals had their divorce dramas, wow that feels like yesterday sometimes.
What an awesome couple!! wish Princess Anne was the one in the line of succession. She is most like her Mother and could so easily step into her shoes, without missing a beat….but it also appears she loves her life the way it is.
