As creators, you guys are kinda stuck in the middle, more views for you means more revenue from RU-vid, but the honesty of your reviews is what keeps me returning to watch your channel, not the title. I regognize the clickbait titles now that are all over youtube and now I pass right over those. Like your channel. And we understand the reasons for your titles. We like titles that make us wonder what the adventure was. On another note. The FLA-NET campground in Flanders NJ Stinks. Full time residents for the most part. Sites not long enough for a 40 ft toy hauler and tow vehicle. Your rig wouldn’t fit. I could just go on. Difficult to even get into the campground itself. Won’t be back.

I enjoy the honesty of your videos. I follow a number of RVers channels. Not every video anyone puts out is going to apply to my needs, likes or wants every time. For example, my wife and I finally found and own our forever RV, so a tours of motorhomes does not necessarily apply to my needs, yet I will start every video you put out. If it's not something that catches my interest, I'll run it at 2x speed to catch the drift of what is happening in the RV world without having to having to catch every detail in the video. Having said that, I consider a couple of your videos the best I've seen in RV community and have saved them to go back and refer to when I need too. I particularly like that you are NOT fulltime RVers. Full-timing does not fit my wife's and my situation, so your "back and forth" from home to destinations I find more to my liking than crisscrossing the country multiple times a year as many full-timers do. Keep doing what you do. I enjoy it!

Hi Izzy and MJ! Thanks for all the great videos! I, myself, will click on any video that the title shows something I’m interested in: new RVs(just to see), state parks I may be interested in, great security tips from an expert, any tips from experienced RVers. That said, it includes most of your videos. Occasionally I am disappointed in the title that may have dramatized the content a bit more than it should have. All in all, your videos are an excellent product! No matter what the title says and what’s in the video, I enjoy your videos because you both are very personable and you show yourselves as really good people. My husband is from Long Island and we can relate to a lot that you show on the videos. We hope to meet you soon!

Anything security related. Around the home, office or in an RV, security for campgrounds or for being way out in the country all by yourself. A lot of it has to do with planning ahead and stacking the deck in your favor. It could be little things like how to pick a secure camp sight, or even the best parking spot for your car at the mall. This could all be good content along with being helpful to people world wide.

Hi guys, I'm a retired psychotherapist, and I will give you an example. We are raised with negativity. We will say to our kids, don't do that instead of you should do it that way. Don't drop your tumbler instead keep your hands on it etc You are one of my favorite channels with BigtruckBigrv because your honnest in your comments. Keep it that way

I watch all your videos regardless of whether you use a click bait title or not. Because I know and trust you, I blow by the title and click bait image and go straight to the content. I don’t watch the model reviews unless they are Class Bs or Cs. I get such valuable information from your other videos. Your integrity and openness is important to me. Example-your search for and purchase of that beautiful plot in Florida. You both were so excited. A few months later you gave a thorough explanation as to why you sold the property. Nothing negative on the resort-you realized that that kind of life style wasn’t for you. Some channels don’t own up to their mistakes, health issues or changes. Everything has to be perfect 24/7. So keep doing what you do best, well crafted, honest content. You serve your audience well. All the best. Ps. The video I didn’t appreciate was the April Fools one. Funny “got cha” for some but a waste of time for me. Didn’t change my viewership.

As a fellow RU-vid creator, I have noticed the SAME thing. However, as a sales professional with Fun Town RV as my 9-5 job it’s hard to balance the “clickbait” or negative titles to not go against the social media policies we have but if I’m being honest I click on titles with negative titles more often myself.

For me, once I subscribe to a channel, the title of the video can be “ We watch paint dry” and I’ll still watch. I subscribe to a channel because I like the content, not because of a title. But, that’s just me. I understand drama sells and to get people to watch content the title and thumbnail need to be eye catching and make people want to watch. So, for me as a subscriber, name the video whatever you want. As long as the content is informative and/or fun to watch, I’ll continue to tune in. I started watching you guys because you are from NJ, where my sister moved to with her husband who is from NJ. I watch your videos to learn about products, campgrounds, how to stay safe and to see places you go. Your honest opinion is why I continue to watch and you're not afraid to talk about things others are. When you "click bait" I watch to see what happened or why you feel something was bad or good. I'm not big on the RV reviews but I know others are. I feel you do need a catchy title in order to peak the interest of new viewers.

Loved your straight talk from a Cop, because you were talking about your personal expertise, and YES, you delivered. The title was exactly as posted, so it wasn't really click-bait at all. I feel (bad) click-bait is when the title under-delivers, or negative dramatic titles are where as a viewer you start to expect overstatement. Keep it real, keep the negativity from taking over, and you are good. I like to learn about your adventures and what you know about things, and how you handle things, but I also LOVE to read about positive finds. I definitely would happily click on a title once in a while about you finding a beautiful spot and having a wonderful time. A little humor or twist thrown in to keep the video unexpected and I'm a happy camper.

You mentioned someone yelling in a mall, That is always something to be aware of, as we learned last year at the Allen outlet mall in TX. So many people could have been spared the horror that took place if they would have been aware of the threat. I carry 24/7 as I'm sure you do Izzy, and we need to be aware of our surroundings at all times. Sorry i haven't kept up with the videos, has young man graduated yet?

Drama does seem to draw people for whatever reason. On my pathetically amateur channel the one video that got 15K views is a complaint/repair about “sloppy manufacturing” on our toy hauler. All the rest get 30ish views which is OK, I’m only doing it for fun, friends, and family, not monetized. I don’t have the time, ambition, or talent to create professional content of sufficient quantity to monetize. Keep up the great work!

Love all of your videos and everything you cover. I especially liked on a few occasions where you've shared your day-to-day life in the RV. What your world was like first thing in the morning and how you both pulled it all together for the day. Like first waking up, getting coffee, etc... That was also enjoyable. I am a Subscriber to your channel. I don't subscribe to a channel until i have watched their content for a while and have found the topics of interest as well as personalities i click with. You guys for that bill. I also rarely comment on any videos but wanted to weigh in on this one. While i did not read all 377 comments posted so far, the content of the 100 or so i did read reflect my views as well and agree with most. You guys are down to earth normal people and the topics you present are relevant to someone like me. I am single, 65, still working, have been a gun owner for a few years now and go boondocking with my dogs, travel trailer and Yamaha Rhino every chance i get. While i am not a big motor home or 5th fan due to their size for some tighter places I like to go, I may switch when i retire in a few years as I am wanting to see more of this beautiful country of ours. For me that means all the content you put out is of interest to me. As for positive or negative titles, I watch both but mostly from creators who i have enjoyed in the past. Keep up the good work. But, I will also admit that i am sometimes drawn more towards negative titles from creators i don't follow.

Do some of the titles sound more interesting than others? Sure. But we watch for content. I'm not interested in your class A's or super C's because most are out of my price range. I will watch industry updates, how to's, security hints, RV quality issues to watch for, sales shenanigans, towable walk-throughs, etc. Help me prepare for my RV purchase later this year (🤞). And, you're pretty straight with us. Keep creating. We'll be here. 😉

I like your videos. I prefer the videos that show the campground reviews and other RV reviews. I actually try to stay away from the RV RU-vidrs that only talk negative, such as Liz, Wingman, The RV inspectors, and so on. I enjoy yours, Changing Lanes, The Hanks,, Wandering Weekends, Grateful Glamper. Keep up the good work!

We watch to learn from mistakes - not because it’s negative per se. We watch for knowledge - even when we may not be interested in a Tiffan motor home. We especially appreciate your security videos. We want to be as well prepared as possible.

What do I click on to watch? I don’t care negative or positive. I’m more interested in learning the Art of RV’ing. Things break, how can I fix it? Good places to camp. I’m kinda of a newbie and need to learn things like, slight dump of gray tank to check connections before dumping black. Old hats like you 2 know these starter things. I click because it is You. On the west coast so reviews of campgrounds are not my favorite but you always seem to have something interesting. As far as I am concern do whatever you need to do to keep the numbers up. Honestly please don’t be so sensitive to those trash comments all you are doing is giving them the attention they’re after. Don’t reply to them and they should go away Be safe out there. Can’t wait for retirement videos ❤

First and foremost, I click on the channels I'm subscribed too and show up in my feed. If a video title sounds interesting, I may decide to watch it, but it doesn't have to be click baity for me to watch it.

I’m not a fan of drama. I watch you to get idea. We retired last year and went on our first trip. We have been in a seasonal campground in Minnesota and by watching several channels we got ourselves ready and made a successful trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama and back home with out issues this year. We now enjoy being snowbirds

I love all of your content. I don't have any idea what type of title caught my eye the first time I watched but, I tend to stick with the creators I like rather than scroll to "click bait" titles. If I have a question I will search RU-vid then watch whatever comes up (skip ppl or style i dont like). Having said all of that, I am 58 and don't like anything dramatic or obnoxious. 😊 IMHO, do what you have been doing. I don't mind whatever the titles are. I watch because I like your channel.

I am not really into the negative or numbers videos but they are all part of the channel and I am fine with those. I will watch them all - no matter the title.

I would like to see more destination videos. For example, I loved your video about the trip to Winter Island Park in Salem, Mass. I loved it so much that we booked a trip there. I don't remember if you mentioned it or not but there was a great rideshare that was called the Salem Skipper. Very inexpensive for a ride. So it would be a combination destination/campground. We camp without a toad, so anything geared towards that type of camping would be great.

We love what you do. Might look at the negative one for a minute depending on who it is, to see if they have a legit gripe but usually turn it off pretty quickly. Yeah, your titles are a bit dramatic sometimes 😊 but that’s ok. Keep doing what you do. We pick our videos based on who it is and you guys are always at the top of our list. ❤

To me it seems like there is different levels of click bait. From a somewhat negative but when you click on it you get honest and factual info then all the way to when you click on a link and it takes you to a totally unrelated story. You guys are the first example. When you have a "negative" title it's because the story tells something to be aware of. Pretty funny that you experiment with it. You always seem to have a good amount of varied info. I'm good with what you currently do.

There’s a channel out there that I feel that they think they’re the most self-righteous. We are all adults we can choose to watch or unsubscribe. I say don’t worry if your title seems like drama and causes people to click on it… just as you mentioned that’s the point to get them to click. And, yes drama sells!

I watch videos to learn something. I like RV news, reviews, campground reviews, reports on new products and RV trends. My advice, stay away from politics! Sexy click bait is annoying and a turnoff. I am a lifetime learner and the more new info I can get the better.
