A lot of people here seem to completely miss the point of One Piece and this episode really shows. no matter how serious the show gets Skypiea and specifically the dances with wolves is one of Oda's favorite moments because its dumb fun. Heck its the reason Oda gave luffy rubber powers in the first place so that no matter how serious the show gets you'll always be watching a story about stretchy man punch. One Piece is about the journey, exploring new lands and having fun. I'm honestly astounded by the number of people that don't seem to get that or that straight up decide to skip the adventure part of an adventure series.

its not just dumb fun, that dance with the wolves is actually a tell for a theory that started after a recent chapter. Oda mixes dumb funny moments with serious plot points really well

it's crazy how early "mantra" has been in the story, maybe even in the first episode. Also, I don't know how late I am to say this, but you should probably pay extra close attention to all of this Skypiea/Jaya stuff. A lot of people thought that this whole arc was just canon filler because it had nothing to do with the story on the ocean, but after a lot of stuff happening in the manga recently, it seems that Skypiea might of been the MOST important arc in the game so far.

the song that was being played at the end is an actual song called "family" and the crews VA sing the song but I don't recommend looking it up yet because it'll probably spoil future crew mates. its such a good song tho definitely look it up later on :)

The house was not from Noland, it was a random house that his descendent found the other half. His rationality is not that bad, Cricket most likely thought that the half house on the cliff near the ocean was very old so he remodel in his own Home. He probably thought it would carry some clues of what happen.

It is a little strange that the south birds are bigger since usually creatures become bigger in oxygen rich environments ( mainly why dinosaurs and the plants then were so large) although skypiea is the opposite haha. Maybe they don't have many natural predators and lots of food so they can grow bigger there then on land.

I think the idea for the big creatures and plants in Skypiea was inspired by Jack and the Beanstalk, where everything is massive up in the sky (island).

aside from being the homeland of the Shandians, people in sky island worship the "Vearth" because of the value it posses. Crops and fruits can only grow using "Vearth", for them it is more than gold. Heck they don't know even know what gold is because gold can only be mined through dirt. I only discovered such detail in after rewatching the series. PS. you're so energetic man. I wonder how many recording per anime with this level of energy you doing in a day. Keep it up 👍🏻

@Ryan Romano Semantics, learning to use something by accident is still learning to use it, he may not have mastered it yet but we all know Zoro would never leave a personal skill untrained if it makes him a better swordsman. By that standard you haven't learned a skill until you've mastered it to its absolute peak, which would make almost everyone on earth and even most anime characters completely incompetent.
