the aligners can be super tight, but the tightness is mostly at the base of your teeth, so the part that is chipped probably won’t be affected! i would recommend mentioning that at your consultation though, and the consultants will tell you if the process is suitable for your teeth!

Hey, I actually have the same problem. My two front teeth are chipped when I was younger and I was very skeptical of doing smile direct club. Because I heard the same reviews, I'm currently doing smile direct right now and that has not been a problem. My teeth of been fine and I'm currently on my last aligner!!!

Wow, never in my entire life have I seen someone with the exact same problem as me. When I was like 7 I chipped both my front teeth.

One of my front teeth are chipped to it was fixed awhile go I am worried about it chipping again to but my alingers arrived already so ig I’ll find out as time passes these comments where helpful tho thanks 😊

I had been to 4 orthodontists and they all quoted me a price range of $5,000 to $6,000 dollars. This was too expensive for me. I found a groupon deal for Invisalign for $3,000 at a place nearly 15 minutes away from my home in Long Island. I though it would be fake but it turns out that it’s REAL! I have terrible crowding but they offer the same price to everyone. When it was time to make the first payment they offered me to pay $2,600 in full. WHAT A FUCKING DEAL! so if u guys need to get Invisalign for a great price, check Groupon.

Totally agree! Do not use 'any' online company. I used SmileLove and even though I am somehow satisfied with the results, I am left with a space between 2 teeth in the front that has to be fixed by a dentist. If you watch other YT who has done SmileLove, you will notice it seems to be a typical problem where we end up with a space between some teeth. I never had any spaces to start with and to end up with one sucks. I also had to use dental wax the whole process because all the upper trays caused sores inside my left cheek if I wasn't using wax.... Pay the $$ and use a dentist so you have someone to go to if there is a problem because even though you can contact them online (when using an online company) You will not get the service you want..... it's too easy for them to say whatever when it's online but a totally different result when using a physical place.

that means they must have severe gum disease or never routinely visited a dentist bc i don't see how else that could've happened.

Not saying this isn't true, but is there a possibility your dentist just wanted you to send money with them? How did your teeth feel before going to dentist?

i'm so sorry this happened to you... like I said in the video, smiledirect may not take your bite into consideration which could result in some problems. I hope everything is figured out now, thanks for sharing this with me!

the pain was a scare at first... and i've heard that too much pressure can be bad, but my gums and teeth turned out perfectly fine in my case! I would say not to worry unless you feel your teeth are becoming unstable...

how long has it been since your braces have been off? if it hasn’t been too long, I would say to contact your orthodontist to ask for a second retainer

@@EllaMae it’s been a year because the replacement for a retainer is 6,000 😳 and I already paid for the second one but then I accidentally put it in a napkin and threw it away. Ah

@@MOOOONNEEYYYY WOW that is expensive for a retainer... most are about $500 or at least other ortho places i know. i think smile direct could help you get that tooth back in place and then give you a new one which only costs about $100!

yes!! for ME it took almost 2 months, but the aligners usually arrive in 4-5 weeks.

my mom used smile direct club as well, and hers took about a month to come, so it’s probably different for everyone:)

I received mine in 2 weeks! So far so good!

@@aj4989 Yes, I received mine last Saturday. I just made sure I wiped everything down with antibacterial wipes and soaked my aligners in antibacterial soap before I used them.

You can just go through the scan and it’s a free visit and you go from there on if you still want to get them. If you’re not sure don’t be afraid to tell them because they are going to assume you want to go through with the process. I just started my SDC and I’m in my first week.

good question! Invisalign costs between $3500 and $8000, while SmileDirect costs less than $2000. however, i’ve seen better results with Invisalign due to their use or rubber bands and attachments. i hope this helps!

Depends on your situation. If your bite is all jacked up and your grill is super gnarly, you will need to pay the extra money for braces. If your smile is just kinda messed up, then do SDC!
