How you said the odd ball 8” like the gm 1500. I’d assume it’s because how the 1500 sits roughly 2 3/4 lower than the 2500, stock to stock. Probably just seeking a certain ground clearance when designing the kits.
Do you know if the lower ball joints can be replaced on this kits cause I want to replace mine but looks like this ball joints comes with the lower arm in one piece
I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Tradesman (5.7) with 35's. It rubs just a bit from turn lock but had a question/trouble determining the type of lift I want. I use this truck as a daily and don't often go off road (unless hunting); however, if I were ever needed to get through some pretty nasty spots- my truck's suspension is durable and capable to meet those challenges. I also want it to perform as a smooth riding truck in case I hit a bump/pothole preventing it from feeling like I'm entering the earth's atmosphere. 1) How can I determine the size difference between a 4 inch and a 6 inch? I've tried googling the height differences via picture but have a hard time gauging it in person. Would you have a better size comparison via link picture that I can view? 2) Should I go 4 or 6? I'd like to go big if possible, but am unsure with the difference in the two's height since I can't really determine which would would look best for my truck. Also, if I go 6", would this require cutting? 3) Which one is better- "ReadyLIFT 4-Inch SST Suspension Lift Kit with Bilstein 5100 Shocks" or the "SuperLift 4-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with Bilstein struts and shocks?" 4) Out of those 2 whether it be 4" or 6", do either perform better than the other? Please advise
I have a 20’ classic (4th gen body style aka basically a 2018)…. I went with a 6” SuperLift and added the fox coil overs with reservoirs to the kit. Out the door it was 3700$ and I had been around a decent amount of lifts to know what to look for. I believe bang per buck super lift is a very solid company to buy from. I’ve been around Rough Country (they get you in the door for cheaper but not the best long term), and some zone lifts. Bds is pretty much more top tier standard but you pay about another 1000$ on top of what I paid. If you go lifted and have the money buy extended coil overs because the handling and ride quality will be superior and if they are the big name brands they are rebuildable/serviceable. SuperLift also has a lifetime warranty on there lift kits (obviously not the coil overs or shocks). Only thing I will do to the kit is take it to a local powder coating place and have it sprayed with a higher grade paint because my truck I plan on keeping for a very long time and I know every brand of lift kit isn’t using the best paint (I want that thing to not rust 5 years down the road and to look good for years to come. Tons of good info on the forums as well. Spend as much as you can on a solid lift.
I got a 2013 gm Sierra with a 8in Superlift, wondering if there is any possible way I can run stocks and grapps. Talked to some people and they say I can with 2 in spacers. I got 20x10 with 33s right now and am looking to get 35 grapes and stocks, can I do it?
You shouldn't run into any issues with the lift of the same size, email our experts at info@customoffsets.com and they can give you more informed answers to any questions you may have! 🤙
Im looking to lift my 05 suburban and have been looking into rough country and super lift... super lift would cost me an extra $700 you guys think its worth it? Or should i stick with rough country
Its personal preference! We have heard good things about both! Our customers have given good reviews as well! It just depends on what fits you better! 🙌
Hey guys I have a question, I’m looking to get some new wheels for my truck and I’m wondering how much offset I’m gonna need to have my tires go out 3 inches from my fender.
IK this random but asking anyone’s opinion. Would it be better to build your own truck your own way over time or buying a truck that you like a lot that’s already built?
Just ordered a 6” Superlift from you guys for my ‘92 Bronco (also the Superrunner steering kit) Can’t decide which wheel/tire combo to go with it though 😬
Super-runner steering is the worst steering in the world. On the lift it toes in. At bottom out it toes out. Im sure you’ve noticed it eats your tires up
@@Acosta-on7do trust me This is not a straight axel or A arm. It can never work how you think it will. Look at GIANT MOTORSPORTS swing steering. I suggest using oem. MOOG tie rods (4) ball jaints upper and lower (4) oriley$650 amazon$350. I did that off amazon and they work perfect.
I can sum it up for you right now, it's quality stuff, but one of the most imcomple kits out there. You usually have some welding to do, and if you have an IFS vehicle get ready to do a lot of cutting on anything bigger than a 6 inch lift... they are impossible to get a hold of. Customer services sucks.. and the website hasn't been updated in 7 years. I had a 12 inch fts kit on my 12 cummins, I bought what I was lead to be a complete kit and had to buy a pittman arm, extended brake lines front and rear... random brackets and some other odds and ends. The FTS resi's are shit also. I replaced them with fox 2.5s less than a year later because 3 outta four were leaking/ blown.. the truck barley ever left the road.
@@chadkennedy529 my FTS 7-9 didn’t need any cutting but I must say I was insanely disappointed in that I paid 500 dollar extra for their chrome cross member upgrade only for it to rust out in the middle less than 2 months after purchasing. Also kit didn’t come with my cv axle spacers and they are impossible to get ahold of 😂. Gonna make a review on my channel soon.
I have my doubts regarding the Superlift kit 6" and superrunner steering Kit for 96 Ford Bronco.. starting with the 6" lift kit with long arm: - the coil springs are extremely stiff, that the suspension does not Articulate more than 2". The shock absorbers that the kit brings are hydraulic and have a very short displacement. The tires 35" is supposed to fit but it rubber inside longer Arm of kit (a lot people talked about this issue in Bronco Foruns). The kit has lift blocks for rear left springs but it was not level with the front. I had to buy almost everything again from other manufacturers trying to fix the bad design. on the other hand the Superrunner steering kit, I installed it, it looks great but it hits the stabilizer bar when turning to the side the direction... with the OEM I never had problems, I changed it because supposedly the design in A was wonderful. today having spent over $8k on parts to try to fix the poorly designed Superlift I just advise you to stay away... go for BDS, ProComp, Rough Country, Skyjacker, Ironman, Old Man Emu and other suspension manufacturers
Sorry to hear about your experience with Superlift - One of the guys here ran the 6" superlift kit on his '94 and it went great. Let us know if there's something we can do to help. www.customwheeloffset.com/wheel-offset-gallery/1167630/1994-ford-bronco-arkon-off-road-lincoln-superlift-suspension-lift-6in
Can someone help me decided what lift to get for me 09 Silverado z71 4wd I want to go with a 3.5 Rough Country but I know SuperLift also has a 3.5 kit . Anyone know what’s better ?
Jesse Shapiro I’m still debating man if you get t first let me know ! But a 6 is to much for me I think it looks awesome but don’t want to sacrifice my ride quality
@@Userb731 I'll be getting mine in a week or so I keep getting told zone but also fox shocks required cuttings and rough country shocks suck so I'll go with the lift that does good in mud and gives me 5100s they have a sale going on so if I was you I'd buy now
For those wondering where Super Lift is, it is located behind the West Monroe Delta Campus you can see from I20. Camp Rd exit, go south and turn right on the service road that runs parallel to the interstate. Turn left before the campus and go to the end of the road
@@alan-ps9pm I feel like as a kid I always used to see that Skyjacker building off of i20 (to the left going toward Shreveport) right past Thomas and I always figured that it was just a dealer, I wonder if that was there HQ? haven't been that way in a while I'll have to keep an eye out next time im out that way.
Have a 12 inch superlift in the front and a 4 inch in the back with a 4 inch body on 35s in a 98 Chevy 2500 hd and it rides better than you might think it does
" keeping the truck at its operating limits" I'll go with they aren't trying to spend the extra cash to design a kit to compete with the companys that have protected them, Pmf, cognito exc.. and to be honest ain't too many people in the market to spend 10k dollars an a 12 inch lift made by superlift. But I do agree they're doing what's working for them.
I am doing a 4 inch superlift in my 95 2dr blazer and all the parts are really nice quality the instruction are horrible!!!! I feel like im trying to ready chinese! Much nicer quality then what the rc ones and some other lift kits look like. Just be nice to get this in and done so i can injoy it.
