Your view is spot on. My Father in Law has a 22 SVR Carbon Edition. Awesome looking and the sounds it makes are divine. My Wife and I just took it on a 2000 mile round trip, I was shocked at how rough it rode and how loud (road noise/wind) it was inside even on comfort mode. We talked about how fun and exciting it is, but for what it cost (140K+ US) I expected something more refined. I could understand if it felt that stiff in Dynamic mode, but in comfort the harsh ride was really no better.
had one for a year and a half now ,more than happy with it , get about 21mpg with sometime down to 9mpg but def average 21mpg plus can get my mountain bike in the boot lol
I've got a "Tuned" 14.5 RR Sport Dynamic that we Love... She does 0-60 in less time than the nice guy's SVR (claimed sample time) mentioned in the Video does above. Love the SVR, it's multiple niceties, as those throaty exhaust notes too. For the money though I'd rather get a gently used RRS Supercharged and "Tune" it for a very noticeable/better value in price. These RRS Supercharged is the best vehicle I've ever owned in every way!
I have to disagree with some of your comments!! I get between 8.4 to 9.7 per 100 kilometres on the highway and Around town….10.5 to12..7 litres per 100 kilometres!…I’m blown away by how little it uses to be honest!!
You can't really disagree, since you weren't with me when i drove around. But of course you can add your own experience. And I have to say I'm surprised by your numbers. I couldn't get close to those :)
@@TunedIntoCars I agree with you that I was not there! I was totally surprised at what my computer was telling me from day one and it ontinued to surprise me with its low fuel consumption nu bees as I was expecting somewhere in the region of 13-16 litres to 100 KMs! But I will say easily getting below 10 L to 100 KMs on a highway trip is a total bonus! I’m now considering trading the SVR for a 2021 Ram TRX so I know the numbers will be ugly!
@@paulainsworth3895 We did our annual 365 mile beach trip this year... Filled up when we left with 93 Octane... made the full trip down and drove all around the whole week locally and didn't get fuel again until the day we left a week later. So 365 Highway Miles and about 75 miles of slow rolling start/stop "Beach Resort" miles all combined. I was very impressed as that is almost 17MPG's total.
What's the Point of having an SVR and getting those fuel consumption numbers? :)) I also got 9,5 liters per 100 km on a highway trip but who cares? I also have one but really I don't care about fuel consumption... If you care about fuel consumption buy the diesel or the PHEV.
Let me tell you the truth about SVR, as the owner of one: I don't care how much fuel it consumes. When you pay 170,000 for a car, you're an idiot if you look at how much it consumes. And one more thing. Do not stand 5 meters above the road. Not even 1 meter. Pay attention, all the fools you are ...
Do you agree with the reviewer that's it's a very harsh and firm ride? I would have thought there'd be a soft mode for when you don't need to focus all that performance.
@@jayaybe1 It is normal for the dynamic mode, as he tested the car, to be very firm on the road, but it is normal for an SUV with a mass of 2.4 tons. However, the dynamics on the road are far superior to BMW or Porsche models. In the sense that the car lets you feel the weight transfer and so you always have the feeling that you have control that you know what the car is doing. Many confuse this thing with rolling, but it's actually a feature of British cars. German cars may be faster, but they do not offer driving pleasure. And it seems dangerous to me not to feel the car and the tendencies of inertia, especially at high speeds.
Brilliant Video- ok so if you like the svr and don’t like the ride then try the RRS Autobioraohy supercharged 525bhp- Plenty of SVR thrills but 100% better ride comfort (and nicer seats)
Hi mate, great video once again! Thank you! By the way... I am not a native speaker either but... Isn't it "knought" to sixty instead of "nor"? Cheers from Italy!
Am auzit o mie de "Ridiculous" in video-ul asta. It's quite ridiculous Dar, "over all" bravo pentru seria asta de video-uri.
Who is a Lamborghini for? I mean the list goes on and on... the answer is WHO ever wants it - thats who. Trying to make people like what you like is always dumb.
