I lived with the OnePlus One for the last 8 years and I had no complaints. Last month, it died, so I switched to the base iPhone 15. I do not miss 120Hz. I do not miss USB 3.0. The A16 is plenty fast. I have a pretty darn good camera. I have a very bright display. The phone is light and compact, fitting easily in my pants pocket. Here's the thing: the base iPhone 15 is the most affordable introduction to the Apple ecosystem.
I came from the Samsung with all those “must haves” and I am so glad I came back to iPhone. It actually works and I do not notice the 60 hertz.. I game on 220 hertz so I guess the low 60 to 120 doesn’t catch me anymore lol
This is what I bought in black. Thought about getting the 15 ProMax, but after assessing what I do with my phone and what I want to do with it and what overall experience I want, the smart choice was standard 15. I have no need for any "Pro" devices, phone, iPad or MacBook. With Apple silicon it's just not necessary for me. I"m happy to have a smaller, lighter phone again. Case-less in the packet this is light. The Plus and especially the Pros just too heavy for me. The camera is good considering what you get. I do use ProCam 8 on the iPhone so I can do a lot more than the iOS camera. The iPad mini is my carry around consumption device when I go out and my Olympus OM-1 is my camera of choice. The iPhone 15 is an everyday carry all-a-rounder.
I just upgraded to a 15 plus from a 12 Pro Max, and the plus is a amazing phone, I love the battery life and the screen brightness is great too, it’s super fast and I really can’t complain about it at all, the camera is superb as well
Got the iPhone 15 Plus green one (exactly as shown). I was thinking about getting the Pro Max, but thinking about what I do and what I need, it's better to save some money 🐬
I used an IPhone 14 earlier but this year I‘ve decided to buy 15 pro max, so the difference between 60 and 120Hz screen is huge imho. I can’t describe how much faster is 15 pro max than 14 which has 60Hz screen. So, if it’s not important for people, of course they’ll be able to use 60Hz models but now I understand the difference because 15 pro max was my first phone with 120Hz screen
The iPhone 15 is a great phone no doubt Might even be the best money has to offer But even though 90Hz would have cost Apple just another 20 dollars(their profit is 400 dollars)they intentionally put 60Hz just so to Push people towards the pro. And I am not gonna help them with their Anti-consumer Anti-business practices and create a Monopoly. Gonna Buy the S23 this week ....a complete phone with awesome Telephoto,120hz, performance, camera, battery and software
True man Apple is just exploiting it's loyal customers And even after coughing up so much 🤑 money The software is so restrictive and u have to use ur phone the way TIM COOK WANTS 😡
The 15 is not some conspiracy by Apple, it's a great device for the majority of people and most, me included care less about 120Hz. Enjoy your Android.
@@footballfan283 I cared a bit since I came from the OnePlus 10T, but I am glad to say that it doesn't 'bother me'. Sure 120hz is nicer, but this will do for now. The thing that bothers me most is not being able to swipe back from the right side of the screen like on Android, lol.
Bro, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro can take 12 bit colour depth photo when ProRaw turned on. But iPhone 14 Pro and 15 Pro can only take 10 bit colour depth photo when ProRaw turned on. Why ? I don't have an iPhone, so can anyone please let me know if you turn ProRaw in 12 megapixel instead of 48 megapixel, can it take 12 bit photos ? I'm curious about this because, 12-bit = 68 billion colours. But, 10-bit = 1.07 billion colours. That's a huge difference. If iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro cannot take 12 bit photos, that seems to be a huge downgrade !
I think that might be caused by the processing power. It requires 4 times more power to output 48MP 12-bit than 12MP 12-bit. Another reason I picked 13 Pro over 14 Pro.
RU-vidrs assisting Apple marketing after bad reputation when 15 heats up and drains battery fast with A17 junk processor, I bought it feel repentant will switch back to 12 pro max
Everyone is releasing the same review with the same comments on the 15/15 plus right now. I don’t remember this many channels doing the “long term” review in previous years. I wish they had differing opinions. They all sound like they are talking from the same notes.
Get over bezel size, edges, colors, and things like that. Normals just do not care with the exception of the color if you put a clear case on your iPhone. I have ever since destroying a past iPhone by dropping it, as soon as a new one comes out of the box it goes into a case, and I put on a glass screen protector. Have had the glass screen protector crack after I dropped it. Then replaced it the very same day. So now my three year old backup Apple iPhone 11 Pro is still in as new condition with no finger prints. In my little Starbucks Coffee group everyone has a smartphone. Every smartphone is in a case. My guess is that for normals most everyone uses a case.
Cases are very important. But what I don't understand is if people choose a certain color, and then use a non-transparent case, but wanted exactly that one color? I don't get the logic behind this...
I purchased iPhone 15 two weeks back I feel my phone warm here and there And definitely warm while charging Is it only my feelings or everyone? Pls help me out
Long term for a tech RU-vidrs lol. They will then make a video a year later and show off how they still have 100% battery health. Turns out, you aren’t dailying a phone when you have several phones to test.
I’m using the 8+ and after all these years STILL haven’t found a reason to get a new iPhone. The display is top notch, the size & weight balance & in hand feel are perfect, and the camera is super.
Coming from the iPhone 11, the 15plus is a champ. The usb-c, the island, the camera was the selling point and they gave me 799 for the 11 ! So im probaby going pro next year. 🐬
I came from the s23 and this thing actually connects to my car and the alarms actually work where on the s23 they would crash. Not to mention the countless bugs with Samsung still. 60 to 120 hertz for a phone is the littlest thing. I game on 240 so I guess that is where my reference is
I’ll never not get a Pro iPhone. Both my wife and I got iPhones on the same day a couple years back. She got an iPhone 13 and I got a 13 Pro Max. Mine is still blazing fast and obviously smoother with the Pro Motion. Hers is so slow and laggy already. So I told her on our next upgrade she is not getting a regular iPhone.
