The NBA went crazy after a Timberwolves security guard tackled a protestor faster than anyone had seen before. There’s actually a crazy story behind how he knew when to act.
That security guard is a textbook example of a real one. He saw these innocent kids who just loved basketball. And would do anything to cheer on their home team. So he looked out for em. That’s respect.
What an inspiring story. Pierre was given a chance and grabbed it with both hands and stayed on the right track Many others were given way better opportunities only to fumble it due to greed, bad influences or other factors. Glad he's given a lifetime contract and deserves it. The fact he declined media interviews and even a spot on TV shows his humbleness.
Uhh! Everyone's giving this security guard way too much credit for something anybody could have done if they have eyes and ears as a qualification for a security guard. I mean jeez! she only ran out right in front of the security guard practically and he was sitting right next to almost and anyone can easily tell she was wearing civilian clothing, so it's a no-brainer. I don't know why they make this out to be some great accomplishment. So would you freaking people quit calling people heroes who do normal things because it just degrades what the title of hero is supposed to represent but the people in this country keep bringing it down to their level like: calling their favorite football player a hero just because he can throw a ball and run, something anybody else can do. I think some people are just bunch of failures in life who do absolutely nothing great for anyone so they try to degrade the meaning of hero down to their level to make them feel like their a hero too for accomplishing nothing but sitting in their mom's basement eating Cheetos and drinking mountain dew all day and collecting disability because they're too lazy to work.
Dude, THIS RIGHT HERE is what your channel is. Keep making videos like these because no one else is doing anything like this. Fuck the NBA drama, hot takes, gambling pushing and screaming that player X is trash/GOAT/whatever. Every single other NBA RU-vidr is making that crap on a daily basis. You are the only one making videos near daily that are positive when talking about the NBA. KEEP DOING THIS. This is your niche.
@@Shockkings0714 sure there is. It's trash and I mean that in the most negative way possible. It's Jerry Springer. There's nothing positive about that.
@@Ejohns1004 How is talking about what’s going on in the NBA world (You call it drama I call it trades, fun rivalries, stories, etc), hot takes about certain athletes that spark unique conversation (No one said hot takes had to be disrespectful. It could be “Dr J deserves more respect), making lists are your favorite and/or objective best players “Jerry Springer”? I guess any conversation that’s not filled with forced toxic positivity is “Trash Jerry Springer” to you?
Such a great story. I'm glad you covered it. That goes to show that being excellent at your job, whatever it may be, pays off. May not be in this same manner, but it does pay off.
I don't care if people aren't watching these stories as much as the "news" content = this was a good piece, and I'm glad that you made it. Thanks for telling me that the head of security was a good dude who used his position to help some kids - and that one of them made a career out of paying it back. It's a sweet story - one that made me happy to hear it.
This is an absolutely great story, I remember watching the game highlights and seeing this incident. Pierre is just a humble good guy, like so many kids all he needed was a chance. Adults in authority need to show compassion to the less fortunate because that kindness can direct a life towards positivity.
Love these videos. Please keep them coming (even if they don't get the views that other videos do). They way you explore the NBA beyond what happens on the court is fantastic.
Responsibility recognizes responsibility, great job. I didn’t like your channel when I started watching your videos, but your dedication, quality of information and your content made me change my mind, your channel is one of my nba favs now. Congratulations.
Wolves fans know this guy. He's def a key part of the team, and the TV crew often talked about about him. Even before he a showed his super powers to the world.
I love these lore videos bro, it might not pull out as much numbers as the other informative videos do but a lot of us do really enjoy this type of content. Keep up the amazing work
This was a cool story man. I enjoy these personal/variety pieces that u do sometimes. I obviously like ur normal NBA content as well. I guess what I'm trying to say is, keep up the good work man!
Casey cmon man u were killing it with videos, and I get it rn in the NBA it's all about Dame and Harden 💯 I'm already looking forward to the NBA Season and the NFL didn't even start. You are the #1 NBA Content on RU-vid!!! Bring the Heat 🔥 back not the Miami Heat I'm talking about the 🔥 Videos u were putting out, but I get it no matter I've been down with you Casey and AM Hoops since Day 1 and I've seen u grow and Blown up. Super Proud of you Casey 💯 Michael Carrozza
7:11 thank you for acknowledging the truth, I thought it would go unmentioned but you've done an admirable job recognizing work discipline and effort without minimizing the protestors message. Thank you.
Yea, definitely nice to acknowledge that aspect. Richest dude in Minnesota, who is also a Republican senator for Minnesota, owns an egg farm. Egg farm catches bird flu due to poor conditions and cutting corners on sanitation, and literally roasts 5,300,000 birds alive while also laying off 135 people. Dude is a cartoon villain.
@@deadhouseplants64The protestors are idiots who want attention, they in no way brought attention to their cause by running out on an NBA floor like lunatics. They have done more harm for their cause than good.
Forget that. Animals kill each other all the time. They torture each other, eat their own kids, and even worst that I’m not allowed to say on RU-vid. Humans are simply superior animals. Stop with this agenda. The protestors should’ve been arrested and jailed with the harshest sentencing and banned for life.

I have to say, it was really sweet of the guard to give those kids tickets and I am glad Pierre got to make all those cool connections and do his job so well. I was not at the game sadly but watched it on TV and remember it well.
@A.M. Hoops, this is the content we all want, don't look at the numbers, this is what you're better at, not the nba drama and hot takes bs toxic stuff. This is real stuff, the world needs people who are real.
