I almost bought a new home in May and I’m so glad I backed out. The price was over the top and taxes. It was a big nope! I’ll be back in the market once prices are reasonable.

Where would you rather recommend families to buy. East of Austin (in areas where Samsung, Tesla, etc) will open or around San Antonio (probably north along the 281)? Property taxes have to stay below 2% and houses should still be on the cheaper side.

@@LivinginSanAntonio I am planning to visit later on this year. At this point it doesn't matter if it's resale or new construction, but new construction would be preferred. But I really wanted to narrow down the areas in order to make my time there productive.
