I definitely had words right off the bat. I'm also not super happy that certain levels basically got free primes while my level got half a cargo bay for a sally for their screwup. But free Una from the treasury made my Bortas even more effective against Enterprises for yesterday's PVP event, which was nice.
I wasn't surprised the release was terrible, I have low expectations about most of Scopelys releases. Another Armada grind with no new sourcing for the directives. New currencies - YAY and same old lag and bugs (along with some new ones).
I have no idea about coding etc. so I am prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt on the release. I am looking forward to the alliance star base going forward, even if it is just a miner now. And the quality of life improvement is awesome for hostile killing. And DS9 is cool.
Oh Scoply can eat my glizzy for that maintenance. It screwed me out of my Franklin A skin. Also, mantis ability is broken. None of those rss come close to that.
The Aug Lockbox looked much better than previous months. I think they were trying to boost sales for that one before they had to give the free one away in September. Guess we will wait and see but I am expecting it to have less mats and be closer to June or July's packs.
I know that issue is on the list from other CCs but if I get a chance to voice the issues our subset of the community is facing I will definitely bring it up Samir M!
How do they explain away Gaila today? Untended interactions. Say what??? This was a MAJOR cluster and today with Gaila continues to prove it. And as far as the rewards go, yeah, they were great. However, what about the Faction Hunt credits that we didn't get because it was Labor Day on Monday. I started Faction Hunt at 6p.m. MST and got 2 factions done. I went to bed thinking I had 3-4hrs to finish the last faction on Tuesday and then this cluster happens. So from my chair it looks like SCOPELY isn't listening to the players. Some players lost out on the Frankling-A refit skin etc. So AGAIN SCOPELY isn't listening to the players when SCOPELY screws up.
Think SNW spoiled us, it had it’s problems but overall that team released an arc that worked/scored correctly. Once again we are back to the same problems we had been dealing with for the past year. Was the gift chest generous? Yes, as you pointed out, however it really didn’t address the issue of missing out on event rewards. Along with the stuff we got, there should have been 1k-2k worth of each faction credit (a bit more for our troubles?) More jayla and some terror skin shards. It would have been a symbolic apology for not allowing players to complete/compete for those events. Meanwhile, sending home all the ships? Idk why that happened, if it was code or just a way to reset things. However i know i lost out on a g3 lucrative token. My miner wasn’t full and in sure there were many others there & in the other token spaces who lost out, so how are they addressing that? Every month they push new content with higher and higher pay walls, without addressing many issues that we as consumers have complained about. Then they seem to have a new even bigger issue that we all end up focusing on, just when we thought it couldn’t get worse. They are quickly killing a golden goose and its sad with such a large loyal customer base…

i'm from server 186, this update was just mad, the amount of lost stuff vs what we got in the way of a "good will gesture" was honestly a kick in the teeth, we all waited the same time, we should have all gotten the same make up gift, thats after the balls up with the bye week we had but didn't (insert more incursion hate here)....... still nothing from scopley about that too btw >:( i feel the main problem atm is that they have stopped caring about the player base and more about the wallets of those players, we have all seen what happens to companies that do that, eventually someone has to step in and stop them from destroying the name, star trek is amazing, scopley handling is terrible, paramount should be stepping in and giving scopley a kick up the rear so this money bank doesn't become a money pit when so many players leave after this chaos happens
Worst release, but the mantis farming is the WORST disaster of a time waster they have ever come out with. Almost an hour every day to get all the venom I need.
Hey Dan. Ds9 launch was a joke. I lost the ability to get transporter patterns and they don’t show in my recruit chest and have none in my inventory. Sent tickets and haven’t heard back. Losing 3 officer shards of 3 /11 every day. And the cost of the new officer packs 7400 credits is a joke. And they just took out Gaila for everyone. What a dumpster fire 🔥 now
Yeah, I'm livid about the Gaila thing. I would do a rant on it right now but I'm always heading into meetings .... sigh.. If you're on the discord shoot me a PM with your Player ID and/or Scopely ID so I can try to escalate the transporter pattern thing for you though my friend
