@@ImsomelonerAli’s chin was amazing he was never knocked out. He was dropped in round 15 and got up on 3. He fought the heaviest punchers in history and took their best.
I’m still holding out hope that the game adds punching from more angles and levels for a more fluid look and feel. I know it would mean a lot of work for the animators, but sadly, I think that’s the one of the main things holding the gameplay back at the moment.
If u become a master at this game u should be able to bring a lower strength guy and be able to get a win against some of the boxers but not the best ones in the game. Fight night cpu opponents are vicious with their punch output amd especially when u boost them to throw everything they can. I love fight night champion honestly and I hope this game gives us a feeling similar if not better. The cpu should be very aggressive . They still need to add some sort of emotional reaction when they are hurt. It's not very noticeable until they are going down. Because they still feel connected to the mat and heavy. It needs more snap when Ali lands his signature jab. Boxers need a bit more signature move to them. It needs to be authentic to the boxer
I have to admit, as much as I love FN Champions, after a point, I had zero trouble blasting on my opponents out. I think I had maybe three opponents throughout all my career modes that made me struggle and take losses to. It did help me accept losing since I didn't take that too well years ago.
Nice they're getting there I can't wait for career mode in as far as a story mode they could just add the movie stories and cinematics into the career mode it is all coding it can be done. I suggest trying simulation makes the game harder because you can't see when you are using too much of your stamina now you have to be more of a tactical boxer when playing in that mode it is really fun they have a major hit on their hands cheers.
Agree-I’ve only watched videos and not played so not sure if it can be changed but the camera swaying so much is really bad. Hard to watch. Need an option to make it more stationary.
I wish the AI fights like how each fighters fought in real life. Marciano leans to the right a lot. I wanna see an AI Marciano doing the suzie q or Frazier's leaping hook.
u had it on casual instead of simulation he woulda fought more like irl version. great vid tho. it could be real in depth career mode having wars and strategic bouts
Alot of punches still look like pool noodles. It looks like guys who made the last fight night game in 2011 are making this. They're trying to make it more "fluid" but it just looks more robotic. The movements look like canned animations and then they break when you throw a punch, and then the lunch looks like a slap. Rocky looks HORRIBLE. His movement looks the best of anyone Ive seen, but then he has to stop to wind up to throw ANY punch. Thats NOT how he fought. He would drown you with quick shots. Didnt care where he hit you as long as he hit you! Like Smoking Joe just not as refined. He won fights by beating up his opponents. Whomever this bum is in this game is NOT Rocky. Again.....WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BE TESTING THIS!!!! They should know this already and fix it!! Thats what a QA department is FOR!!
You can tell its a good game but its missing crucial factors that is haed to ignore if they sell this as a AAA full priced game. Base version of ufc 5 was £60 undesputed should be like £40 or less realistically. Only beung £40 for the roster of fighters we dont have anywhere else

How about we worry more about companies actually FINISHING their games BEFORE releasing them and/or asking us for money? Lets start with that before we start requesting features that they will then tell us they cant do without cutting something else even though they DID that thing years ago and want us to forget. Lets get back to the days were you could buy an actual game, not half, not 3/4 of a game, but the ACTUAL GAME. Remember those days? You could slap a cart or a cd or even a dvd into a console and not even have to THINK about, "I wonder whats broke with this". Or, "I wonder how long I have to wait THIS year to start my franchise with all the new updates?". You could just play an ACTUAL game!! Every menu worked, every feature on the box was in the game, every bug or glitch was minor and only graphical and only lasted a second on 1 or 2 levels. It seems like a VERY long time ago doesnt it? If we keep feeding companies like this, they will KEEP DOING THIS. Feeding us bits and pieces of a game and CHARGING US TO PLAY TEST IT FOR THEM. IT SUCKS!!!!!! The only way to make them listen is with our wallets and to stop giving them free publicity and offering ourselves up to do THERE jobs!! You seem like a cool guy but what you are doing here is NOT helping games get any better.
Thanks for appreciating it....but I wish you would take it. You realize what you are doing for this company right? They are using you for free publicity, and as an unpaid tester. Thats not cool. You might think its cool for your channel and your wallet and all....but it shows other companies thats its ok to do this...to make half baked games, get there money up front, and then maybe work on them later. The Day Before???? Come on man.
Needs punching fix an better. Needs the flash when u get that good punch in . But hopefully this crap gets fixed. The game put together to fast .just for the money.rather game take long so it's done rite
Certain fighters like CANELO are glitched out. His stamina doesn’t go down. And his power is crazy. His stamina doesn’t decrease like the opponents . Certain fighters are broken. Fix please!
Its not worth the price at the moment. Rcps3 upscaled textured Fight night champions is still much better from this. I bought it and I refunded. Too many unregistered punches. Clunky animation. Buggy puch system
Something I’ve been nagging about for quite some time now is the animation blending/transitioning. An example case i see often is when someone has their hands down in loose movement, and then presses blocks, or vice versa, a lot of times there is a very awkward snappy and jarring movement as if frames are missing in between animations. It makes the game look cheapish and it has to be addressed
Same, it seems clunky and slow to me. I keep watching vids every once and awhile to see if they made it any better in those ways, but I'm not seeing it yet unfortunately. If they can make the punches feel like they are impactful, and can clean up the transitions to not be so clunky and choppy, I would totally be into this game for sure! They should at least change the facial expressions when throwing big punches, to show the boxers are putting effort into their punches, as a start. IMO, this is one of the toughest types of games to work on animation wise, so I have to give them a ton of credit for taking this on and following through with it, as I am a so far hobby game developer myself for the last 10 years, and know how annoying and tedious it is to blend animations together along with allowing them to properly transition in and out smoothly and in a timely manner, yuck... The people around the ring need to blink or something as well, and maybe cringe on big hits or something, otherwise they should maybe be blurred out. It's best to remove or correct anything that degrades the impact of the focus of the game... I'm sure they will eventually figure these things out as it evolves, and when they do get it right, I will definitely play it!
It's far from perfect, but I do agree with the addition of more punch angles, more animations, and the damage still needs a little work also (facial swelling, body brusing etc). The good news is they seem to be making an honest effort.
A better test would be to have fought wilder as Ali to see if wilder backs off all the time. Rocky keeps coming forward but wilder would have retreated.
There’s a feint punching 🥊 bug that needs to be fixed. You have to wait until the next round to be able to throw punches again when you feint punch with the left d pad a certain amount of times.
Hopefully sum1 says sumtn an gets it fixed.then u need to add that flash when u get a good punch in. That's what makes gamers comn Bak for more an hard an smart A.I fighting.
i was pumped for this but after playing it, i noticed its just an ok game, people spamming rite hooks over and over is weird and i appreciate the dev team making a solid effort but I can see fight night coming out and just destroying this game.
The AI is still horrible and needs to be upgraded quite a bit before is anywhere near ready for a career mode or release I don't understand how this game is gone so far backwards this is Beta release

My ps5 controller broke with this game, left stick constantly moves left, annoying when your trying to stop it to pick your fighter lol. The movement in the fights is too slow and sluggish. Ony fury can move around fast.
