Life is short DON'T worry about the ones that are gone......l am 80 years old now....All of my very big family are all gone now mom dad brothers sisters wife kids aunt's uncles every single one gone now for one reason or another and l live alone in a big two story house .....Yu'all have so very much to thank God for.....Blessing my friends and Thanks

I started crying as you started to talk about how you never answered the phone when your father called on your birthday so that you could save those recordings. I too do the same thing when my mother calls, as she also sings the whole birthday song to me. This episode touched me. Happy birthday Justin.

The first year sucks, my dad pasted away when I was 25. Right before my sons 2nd birthday. Doesn’t get better, I live behind their house. On same farm I grew up on, with my house. So I could take care of my mom. So almost 10 years later, it’s fine fulfilled some of his dreams. Bought truck he wanted & had money for, but would never buy himself. Finished fencing in back 8 Acres, raised horses, bunnies, pigs, ducks, and chickens on his land.

I know how you feel about birthdays after a parent passes. My mom passed in 2010, we also shared a birthday, November 2. The first birthday after she passed I stayed in bed. Year 2-8 I got up but did nothing. This year, I’m getting up and spending the day with my husbands gran, whose birthday is November 2 and is celebrating her 97th and I’m celebrating 49. Happy Birthday to you and your Pops and my mom in heaven. ❤️❤️

My Dad died November 8, 2009 and I wish I had some messages from him. I also met and fell in love with my husband when I was 16 and he was 17. We’ve been married 42 years and are still happy. brother Justin my Mom has been gone these 20 years and I still miss her the same as when she first left...but I relish in the "wisdom" that she left me deep in my heart in her voice I her tell me she is proud of me and what I have accomplished with my life at 67. If you were my Son I would be very proud of you and what you and your family has accomplished. Especially the wonderful life you have given to your family. There's never a bad day for biscuits & gravy, and having grits, (cheese, plz), Justin. Happy Birthday! My husband passed away unexpectedly 3 weeks ago. I know that it will take time, and I think you just have to cut yourself slack, no matter how long it takes.

I lost my mom when I was 14, its so hard without them, may I suggest getting a scrap book to write down memories put in pictures, it helps to make little keep sakes, much Love and God bless and keep you and your family safe, Amen, Happy Birthday

Happy birthday! I took this age for granted, and All of a sudden boom! I'm 50. Enjoy your little kids and enjoy your age. I don't have regrets but I miss our team Ursini that is now doing their own lives. It happens so quickly!

My dad passed away when I was 16, I am 51 now and I still miss him at times. My mom has only been gone 2 years and that hurts everyday still.

If you don’t process sugars well it often shows up in touchy emotions in a day or two. Taking digestive enzymes with those meals helps me with carbs. So you’ve recovered and are laughing together now. ❤️❤️

My brother n law passed nov 3, 2019, his wife on July 17, 2020 of a broken heart losing her husband.... they moved close to us so we could take care of them in their old age, which we've been doing for 5 years... And I miss them sooo very much...

Happy birthday,I can see it was a good one even though you missed your dad.We all have those days,and no one is perfect.Birthdays are hard for me now.A few years ago my nephew took his life,and the past few years have been rough when my birthday comes around,but I have old messasges on my phone that I can read from him.it helps but its also bitter sweet.Having a loving family helps.

It's perfectly ok to send Teddy away and make him WAIT during emotional times. Have you ever rushed in with A VERY important message for someone only to have the household busybody on your heels screaming what what what just because they feel your "energy"? Well dogs are ALWAYS the household busybody and it's not cruel to prevent them from crashing your moment, just call them in and love them up when it's over. The dog will feel they are the center of attention because at that point they ARE and they will immediately forget any hurt feelings you may have worried they had. Happy birthday btw Justin. Justin, something happens to a man when his father passes. I went through it with my husband. Maybe it's the realization that you are now the patriarch and you don't feel that you are prepare. Please be carefull of your decisions for the next couple of years. You can easily lose your way.
