I was in that situation too when I was a kid and i remember my mother would make it fun and show us how it bubbled up to make it some what fun... Even when we got on our feet and bought actual toothpaste I hated every single one until I used arm and hammer and it was that same thing i remembered XD, still use it till this day.
@@teianniaclark2434 true love but no shame in that thank u for teaching mee that btw. I live with my mom she left my dad I'm 32 but I struggle with learning.. I will move out .. search miswak it was probably the first organic toothbrush that doesn't need toothpaste or gloss but they sell miswak toothpaste for some reason for money or cuz ppl r used to toothpaste
@seanpetersen9326 exactly. So don't believe what you hear from "these days", rather trust more in what you hear which comes from "back in the day" so this formula given right here, is probably hundreds of years old.
I started using baking soda to brush my teeth back in college. I always get stopped and told how white my teeth are. I’ve never gotten them whitened and never tried a diy whitener at home.
I have bad experience using this… the first weeks were great but after some time it seems to have weakened my enamel, and stains stay on easily 😭 what’s your advice? 😢
@@yannieso4889you have deep stains then. I do too but baking soda supposed to be mixed. Toothpaste, peroxide, it'll kinda help pull stains off if they are on the outside of teeth. You may need a good cleaning ❤
I use it with toothpaste dipped in baking soda, no water and get stains off every few months. Works great. Been adding coconut oil and xylitol gum as well.
She's not saying to do that. I don't know where you got that from the videos pretty straightforward. Be saying that you can use it in a pinch by itself, but that Arm & Hammer Products are okay for your teeth.
I tried and it was abrasive that I wasn't able to brush my teeth for days cus my gums have tiny scattered wounds. I don't know how people do it, really
Im all about all natural toothpaste. My teeth were nerver sensitive. After three months of using a homemade baking soda my teeth are now wrecked. It erodes enamel. Im not for fluoride or store brand tooth paste but i would use coconut oil, peppermint. Etc. other natural stuff but not baking soda.
I never brush my teeth with BS but after using toothpaste on my toothbrush and brushing them I then use BS as a mouthwash everyday, rinse my mouth several times after with water and don’t have wrecked teeth. Mouth washing is the best solution and do not brush teeth afterwards. Keep using coconut oil with your toothpaste and I really hope your teeth get better. Do try the mouthwash please and rinse really good afterwards, it’s really worth it
No! I've been brushing with baking soda and now my tooth enamel is gone! my teeth are half clear half yellow now, and I'm only 27 I've had healthy teeth all my life now they're ruined because of this advice 😭 DONT LISTEN TO THIS PLEASE...
can you please make a video on overbite? How much overbite is considered normal or if it's not normal....? is medical treatment needed in that case.... please make a video on that
What brought me to this video I think Arm & Hammer quit making Complete Care toothpaste which was my favorite so I figured I'd make my own the other couple of Arm & Hammer toothpaste I've tried didn't even come close to the Complete Care
I use a baking soda based tooth powder comes in a blue bottle. It never hurts. I think it's called Eco Dent toothpowder. Did I mention it doesn't hurt like straight baking soda.
But A&H has SLS & I can't use their toothpaste...😔 I have sensitive teeth/gums. Healthy but sensitive. I was using Pronamel gentle whitening but its under the medium list for abrasiveness. So I switched to Reg Pronamel but I have naturally yellow colored teeth & miss the whitening toothpaste. Do you have any suggestions?
Can i mix baking soda and hydrogen peroxide at a 1:1 ratio to whiten my teeth? If so, how often can i do that treatment? Like once a month or so? Or should i just use the whitening strips? Or go to the dentist for professional whitening? I don’t care about the price, i care about my tooth enamel! I want what is best. Can someone give me their advice please? Who has experience with any of these possible solutions? Thank you so much in advance!!!!
Can you teach us how to apply it? Cus I tried before and it was abrasive. My gums was sore and raw for days and ironically wasn't able to brush my teeth for like a week cus it was painful
Umm, OFF TOPIC😁 I forgot about the whitening thing bc I was trying too figure out how you made YOUR FURRY ❤️🔥microphone 🎤 ✌🏽 TOO CUTE ☺️ I’ll rewatch the video now! 👄👈🏽🦷☑️
So it's lightly abrasive. That would be a no go on the teeth as it slowly wears away at enamal and gum tissue. Not extremely abrasive, but unessasary, and problematic for so many people as you should know being a dentist. Hydrogen peroxide teeth whitening products are as abrasive as water. None.
How is it not abrasive if it doesn’t dissolve. Sometimes I use a (natural) baking soda and coconut oil deodorant ($13) and it cuts my skin. This dental assistant needs to give the coat back to the dentist.
Use baking soda and scrub your glass cooktop with it then afterwards, take a torch and shine it across cooktop... then come again and try and tell me it's not an abrasive. If you want the benefits of baking soda, put some in warm water, stir it good, then strain it and use that water.
Hey genius, don’t forget you’re actually using a SCRUBBING SPONGE! If someone just poured baking soda and used their hand, the results would be much less effective. #iHopeYoureAChildAnNotJustAnIgnorantOldPerson
