So glad you are feeling better! My mom received healing from Graves’ disease and I’ve received healing from terrible stomach pain due to herniated belly button. I’ve stood a lot on these scriptures found in 1 Peter 2:24 and Romans 8:11. The same Spirit that raise Jesus Christ from the dead lives in me and is quickening (restoring) my mortal body... And by Jesus’ stripes I was healed ❤️

I would love to see anti-inflammatory meals, too. I gave up soda years ago. I only use avocado oil and try to make most things from scratch. But soda, especially diet, was bad for me. I still have a few flair-ups🤷. I would love a few more ideas for dinner.

I feel like I just got an update from a friend I hadn’t talked to in a long time! ❤ You’ve made such a big impact on me and my family…can’t wait to see what else you have to share. Sooooo glad u figured out ur health issues…as a full time working mom…I can relate! I was diagnosed with Medulary Thryroid Cancer and after a full thyroidectomy I’m happy to say I’m cancer free. It was a huge wake up call to keep what’s important at the forefront. Proud of u for scaling back to take care of u…ur family needs you. They are most important. I’m so sorry you had to go through all that, but as a nurse practitioner, I have to say it’s almost a relief because it made no sense how you were able to get that much done with eight kids and be that perfectly organized and still look perfect and skinny with full make up. I’m exhausted mom of two who keeps a very clean house and runs a tight ship but I can only imagine how so many people felt watching these videos wondering why they can’t be like this. Now they can see it was because your body was allowing you to go at that speed. Again, I’m sorry you had to go through it avenger a lot of health journeys with my thyroid as well, so I feel for you, but I’m grateful that you’re being transparent!

I appreciate how open you are! I watch a lot of videos about hormone nutrition and thyroid balance, so hearing your story is super relative to that as well (but I've been around for years!). Currently, I finally switched to organic veggies to balance my hormones when it's affordable. It is a much higher cost, so I would appreciate learning how to budget in other areas!

So happy to hear you are on remission. I was diagnosed with Graves disease a few months ago after Covid. But the diagnostic was quick as my eyes were affected (opthalmopathy) it was easy to find out what I had. It’s not easy to deal with the symptoms everyday, especially when you’re working and have kids. I really admire your journey. I don’t know how you did with the kids and all your work projects but that’ s impressive!

I was diagnosed with Graves Disease about 25 years ago- my symptoms didn't match the norm (I now realize there is no norm), and I thought I was going nuts. I'm glad you were diagnosed. Not knowing what was wrong was the most challenging part for me. I'd love to know more about how you manage an anti-inflammatory eating plan with kids- tips on doing it on a budget would be great.

Just everyday life Jordan. It’s sweet to see you and know as a believer you know between work, church, home, kids, husband, health etc (😬😊❤️) that life is difficult but doable. You are honest and kind, encouraging but also to the point. I am a stay at home home schooling Christian married mom of 3 that has had thyroid cancer, treatment and at one time diagnosed with 8 autoimmune issues. Just seeing you and feeling like someone else understands and yet lives it out. Sometimes you can get depressed in the middle of this and I didn’t want to be around anyone outside of my required realm but you were there. I have tears bc you don’t get to say these things in very many of our “jobs” and have someone not try to condemn you. I just turned 56, I have lost 50 lbs and been healed from the autoimmune. I now only have the effects from those diseases and of course the organs I had removed due to cancer or damage. Still on lots of meds but oh so much better. While I know you wouldn’t take credit for something God has done I do feel He put you out there to help so many of us get through these seasons of life. Now my finances are way out there (largely bc of health) but I have both of your programs for lifetime. Anyway I Have continued to pray for you sweet friend! I pray blessings to you and yours and so glad you are being restored physically for your sweet babies. Take care! 💗

Girl I've missed you so much! I'm soooo glad you're feeling so much better! I've rewatched you and Bubba's budgeting and saving tips, but I'd really like to see budgeting and meal planning in this economoy! I'm always down for raising capable children, and basically everything you talked about!!! Lol. Welcome back lady!!!

So glad you are back!! Please share more on keeping up with all the things (parenting, cooking, shopping, work, homecare, balancing the finaces) while balancing your health/healing/ improving it. That all would be a tremendous blessing!! Would also love to hear super budget friendly/ extra frugal means of feeding the family while prices for everything is up. Maybe even any hack/tips how to deal with all the costs going up (gas, electricity, insurance - health, car & homeowner, homecare services like lawn, reroofing, replacing appliances and beds and couches) to stay on budget/keep moving ahead fiscally. Hauls always welcome. Parenting and planning/productivity tips. Like the idea of the plan your year in advance again. Marriage and dicipline tips for the kiddos. Kids routines and chores. Any investment tips you have. Occasional you & Bubba videos too! Welp that's plenty to keep you busy...hahaha! Prayers for continued good health!

Super excited for your RU-vid return 🎉 thank you thank you thank you for all the value you give. I started following you years ago. Before I was married, before i even had a child and now that I am married with a nearly 4 yo I would love so advice from you around raising my boy. The areas I struggle with him is fussy eating and the food waste that comes with exposure to food for him and raising him to be good and respectful. I absolutely loved your q&a Tuesdays with bubba and the one you did around parenting is one I go back to frequently. Thank you in advance. All the way from Melbourne Aus, Love your heart ❤

Welcome back Jordan! Sorry to hear about your health issues. It took 5 years for doctor's to diagnose me with Graves disease and it was such a scary and challenging time. it wasn't until i started having heart issues that the blood panels finally came back with the diagnosis. I was completely shattered and terrified as no one could figure out what was going on, but I knew something wasn't right. Knowing what i went through, i can't imagine anyone going through that with a house full of children. You are a trooper! Would love to hear more about what you're doing to help manage your symptoms with the hollistic and nutrition avenues you're taking. It's been 15 years since my diagnosis and i've really had to be in tune with my triggers when i'm hypo or hyper now in order to adjust my thyroid medication as my "normal" range is a very small window within the medical standard of "normal". I'd also love to hear about what your symptoms were, as mine were pretty bad and they included a-typical migraines that didn't have pain but would cause stroke-like symptoms and I developed SV-tachycardia - both of which come on now if i'm learning towards to hypo/hyper side of things. Both of which do get much easier to recognize as you start to regain health normality again. Hang in there!

Welcome back! Breaks are necessary and I can only imagine how busy you are with your businesses and your family! Way to go mama!!❤ I am so happy you are feeling better, No one tells us the more baby’s we have the more at risk we are, birthing baby’s can be dangerous and always a blessing. I am a mom who has 5 kids but have had 9 pregnancies and the complications my body has had to and is healing from is always a healing journey.

I was also in remission after 2 years being diagnosed with graves disease. But after a few years it came back and I didn’t notice the symptoms, blaming them for fatigue. Boy it came back with a vengeance, my body was in shock and a few years have passed now and I’m still feeling the aftermath. So make sure to monitor it closely even if it’s been a year or two (or more) since remission.

I stumbled upon your channel 3 years ago when I was a struggling mom of 4. I was so fascinated by how you balanced work, all your kids, God, and a healthy marriage. I am now a mom of 9 due to my nieces and nephews being placed with us 6 months ago and honestly the advice you gave and resources you've provided to help stay organized has been a life saver!
