This product has been getting A LOT of heat, gossip and drama surrounding it so I had to try it out for myself and see what the truth is... Oh, I'm definitely not doubting it! I've followed him for quite awhile, through Warped Tour to RU-vid Beauty Guru, and I am a true fan. I just was making a heartfelt statement about the new hair. The tone of his blonde hair is to DIE for. It really matches his skin tone well, and even compliments the back drop. Hands down, in love with the blonde.

Erin Masengale yeah I get colour theory as I’ve followed art classes all my life. But not everyone does. If you want to commercially sell a palette to everyone, you need to make it workable for everyone or tell people how to use it/make it clear it’s for muas.

Erin Masengale considering he has a big makeup brand himself and does makeup more than the average person I think he knows what he’s doing. He’s been doing this for years and he knows what he’s doing and the eyeshadow pallet has just too much fall out. It doesn’t matter if you are a mua or not, I’m sure not everyone buying the pallet is gonna be an mua and this eyeshadow pallet and their company in general isn’t directed towards only makeup artists, if that was the case they wouldn’t be making as much. Not to mention he formulates (or at least does some of the formulating) in his eyeshadow pallets so he owns a whole brand therefore that is even more than a makeup artist considering he makes makeup and not just uses it and does it on other people, celebrities, etc... He just gave it a fair try and reviewed it like a bunch of other makeup products

So...I really wanted this palette due to the colors in it, but I didn't want to pay $42 for colored dust particles. So instead I got it at Marshall's in the way back for half the price, and can safely say it's worth about that price. It's not a bad palette by any means, and I do like the colors, but it's dustier than all hell and it's tricky to work with.

The on the rocks w7 palette is a decentish dupe for like £5 (but obvi less pigment) if you'd ever want to try something cheaper

I have both plus the Revolution dupe. The Revolution has the best quality but the colors are weaker. The other too are muddy as fuck.. I blend them and they blend away, they are also patchy.

It was because he didn't set the concealer, so the wet parts of the concealer made it darker. Sorry I love Jeffree, but that was his fault. Every other beauty guru knows to set the concealer before they but the eyeshadow on.

I'm honestly really disappointed with this palette because when I first saw it I was super excited to finally see a palette with a color scheme that I've been looking for. I ordered mine but when I receive the package they had given me a liquid lipstick instead of my subculture palette. I talked to customer service they wouldn't do anything other than tell me to wait for a restock to re-purchase the palette. I re-ordered it today on Sephora and I just hope I have no more difficulties with the palette.

I'm no chemist myself either, but with talc as a main ingredient, that may explain the HEAVY fallout. It is a very loose powder. At first, it absorbs oil. But when there is too much or out of proportion, HELLO fallout and GOODBYE eyeshadow. Mica is used as a "glowing finish." No mica? That may explain why the bright colors didn't POP like we were all expecting it to. AGAIN. Disclaimer. I'm no chemist but that's what I know. Cheers. xo

Jack Ü yeah I think he probably knows and just didn't want to get too into it maybe. I can't remember if he gave off the vibe that he didn't know. But maybe if he didn't know he just got lucky with having a good production team who's made quality products from the start helping Jeffree perfect his formulas. I have a feeling Anastasia cut costs on this palette tho tbh which I'm sure is something jeffree wouldn't do cause he's different than other brands since he's also a beauty RU-vidr. I just don't get when companies do that tho, like they already make more than enough money so why would they want some quick extra coins at the possible expense at tarnishing their brand in the eyes of some ..

pandafulbubble - mica is the actual colour pigments. It should be the first ingredient. The fact that it isn't, says a lot about the quality of the product.

I heard someone say that this palette has talc as the first ingredient because it was produced in Italy and there if a product contains talc it has to figure as the first ingredient (even if it just has a little bit) for safety reasons.

Callie Osborne I bought it for myself for my bday too. I only used 3 colors and they were a lot darker than they looked in the pan. 4 hours later they were all blended together. My daughter spilled juice on my label and my return slip. I'm stuck with it 😢😢😢😢😢

Ok, now Jeffree has some of the best blending skills and I feel terrible agreeing but yeah, it looked like a hot mess. Like somehow he made it look good but the color shift and patchiness/blendability was terrible, and I'm honestly concerned at how much fallout Jeffree probably inhaled. If I wanted those colors I would def just buy the Androgeny palette and be happy knowing I was getting a better quality product.

Honestly, I never got the fuss over Anastasia eyeshadows. I have the Modern Renissance and the Shadow Couture palette, and think they're both shit. Powdery, not pigmented, blend like garbage. I was amped for the Pink Champagne shade in the Shadow Couture palette, and IT. IS. AWFUL. This is what happens on RU-vid....one or two influential beauty gurus say they LOVE the MR palette, and all of a sudden, its the palette of the moment, and the best thing ever. If you don't mind powdery, but want pigmentation, go with the LORAC Pro palettes. At least they blend well, and the colors show up.

Yes, theres thousands of children working in the Madagascar mica mines. They live in extreme poverty. Most work the mines because their families cant afford money for food. Its extremely sad. Mica is used in makeup to make it shiny, like the metallic shades. It's also used in microwaves, batteries and furnaces. One pound of mica equals to about 7 cents!!! On average they make about 40 cents a day.

Idk why, but when I try (and i do really try) to put shadow on the bottom of my eye, I look like I'm a raccoon on drugs. Yet when Jeffree does it, he looks so fierce and hot 😭 Or when i try a cut crease, the concealer gets everywhere and is so hard to do, but he does it so easy 😭 He's some kind of makeup god Damn, I never got this much comments and likes before

Galaxy Girl just use a very small brush on the bottom of ur eye..u jsut connect ur upper and lower lids then just go half way.and when cutting crease,apply the concealer on the back of ur hand then use a small brush to apply it on ur eyelids.Start from ur inner corner then go gradually on the half of ur eyelid.Dont use too much product on the bottom of ur eye. U just want a shadow effect so just put a little.so always start on the outside corner and slowly,go inwards. Good luck girl!
