Hi guys! We know the sound mixing in this documentary is not ideal and unfortunately, there wasn't much we could do to fix it. However, we still believe the content in the documentary is great and so decided to publish it. We apologise for the issue and hope you enjoy the upload regardless!

This was apparently done before Richard III’s remains were found, which confirmed he wasn’t a hunchback. But some other facts are missing from the story, including the two princes being declared illegitimate, which removed any motive for Richard to murder them …

I completely agree with a monument to King Harold. He was certainly one of England’s greatest Kings, if not the greatest Kng. However, King Harold was not killed with an arrow in the eye. Yes the tapestry was altered. The figure showing the arrow in the eye was altered. Stitching shows that it was likely originally a picture of a footman throwing a spear. What’s more, though Harold’s name is over the figure. That is not the pattern the tapestry is made in. All the other writing describing events, depict the event under the right end of the writing not the left end, where this figure stands. It is the picture shown of a Saxon being hacked down by a charging horseman that is under the right end of the writing. Harold didn’t die with an arrow in his eye. He was overrun by charging Norman Horsemen.

The name Robin Hood could be a play on words: "Robin" for "robbin' (robbing)" and "hood" for a never-do-well. Common words that we are using now in our current history remind me of all sorts of 'non-standard' things.

If you like English/British History and Legends then (if you've not heard of) I heartily recommend Kevin Hicks and his YT Channel The History Squad. He is the Longbow man in the Robin Hood documentary, if you not only love❤ medieval historical accounts of certain Kings,Queens or battles but Kevin will take you round Castles explaining many different aspects of them but he shows you how to be a longbow man, what you would've had with you on Campaign and all sorts of cool stuff you don't see or get shown in normal documentaries, (sorry Sir Tony!) He also makes his own 'battle models' scenes, shows you on models the bloody injuries caused by arrows/swords etc and how a physician would've dealt with that injury and he tells all while wearing an appropriate Medieval costume. Hope you have a look at his Channel and hopefully it's the sort of History stuff you like.🙂

It depends if you are ordering a volley. Fire! Wasn’t used back then cos fire was something used to cook and heat with or to burn a building as an attack. I read that recently the grave of Richard III was uncovered in a parking lot. The discovery was also that he had "Scoliosis of the Spine ." So much for the theory that he wasn't a hunchback. The Richard III Society loved that the body was found but was chagrined to find it included a real abnormality. If he commissioned a painting of himself, would it have included this deformity? More than likely, his enemy would have doctored the painting which attested to the fact they KNEW it to be true and wanted everyone to know it. I guess in this final revenge they were saying "Oh yeah, whitewash the deformity we've seen for years, will you? I think not." They outed him. I believe paintings of that era were designed to show royalty in the best light: minus any warts. Like the old Virgin Queen with her mouth closed over her rotting teeth. Finally, that doesn't mean he was a monster who had his nephews killed only that his disability made him seem as "the person most likely . . ."
@Ionabrodie69
@Ionabrodie69 6 месяцев назад
Oh another Tudor fan parroting lies.. Show me the PROOF that he killed his nephews? ..give me a valid reason why he would..?You obviously know nothing other than the Tudor propaganda..Here’s a fact…Bishop Stillington testified that despite Edward lV having had a pre contract with Lady Eleanor Talbot he still married the Wydeville woman..so the crown and the bishop brought Titulus Regius therefore removing those children from the line of succession..this was made clear to the people of London so negating the need for Richard to have them killed… however Margaret Beaufort had PLENTY of motive. ..but people like you are ignorant to common sense.. And ACTUALLY Richard didn’t have a HUNCHBACK..scoliosis doesn’t always present as a hunchback and it didn’t with him. You know how we know this..? Because IF you’d watched the documentary ,then you would have seen a man with the same skeletal scoliosis that Richard had and he did NOT have a hunch.. 😡🇬🇧

I can't imagine that Stanley would go against Margaret who was rich and powerful in her own right. Do ppl think if he had gone for Richard instead of Henry that he'd walk through the door, "Honey, sorrow your beloved son is dead and I helped". Margaret would find out the facts. It’s interesting watching other countries’ own documentaries. In America we typically take accountability of the horrible things people have done despite their accomplishments. It seems as though you “win” a battle and ignore the slaughtering that’s been done in order to do it. Although American history is an iPhone compared to this history

Oh, for Pete's sake: no royal in the world is anything more than the descendant of whichever tribal chiefling was able to seize and hold the most power. Period.
