Exactly. And she completely dismissed the fact that not all Christians even believe in being that black and white or in h**l being a literal place. In fact there’s even biblical evidence to support that it’s not. It’s so unbelievably hypocritical when fundies make statements like this in this tone well stating their personal beliefs as facts we’ll condemning all others. It’s pure willful ignorance and arrogance. I’m so sorry that this girl and so many other people were indoctrinated into this harmful mindset as children by those they were supposed to be able to trust. But as a grown adult it’s her responsibility now to educate herself outside of her religious sphere and use critically thinking to see the facts and what is unknowable for what they truly are. And it is her responsibility to stop perpetuating these baseless and harmful ideologies and to stop trying to fear monger people into her religion and into fundamentalism. It is inexcusable and shameful.

This is her platform. If you there was two doors, one door that you were certain- that you believed led to destruction, a door that when you opened it would have an army with guns drawn at you. If somebody you knew was trying to walk through that door- because they believed it was filled with cotton candy and awesome things. I think she’d be heartless to be to let that person walk through that door. This girl truly believes the gospel. If one truly believed something I think one would do the same thing. I applaud her for being passionate enough about something to say something. I would desire to believe something so strongly that I felt compelled to share it. I also think she has admitted that she’s tried to run away from the gospel to appease those around her. She finally feels as if her faith is really working in her life and of course there’s gonna be push back. I don’t believe she has any negative intentions in making this video. When you have seen Gods goodness work in your life you can’t help but declare that. I’m not trying to argue, I just felt like this message was very harsh to her and I want to speak with her intentions in mind.

Just listen to the phrases she uses over and over again in this video and how she begs people to keep watching. It’s clearly manipulative and sounds almost cult like. And a lot of the stuff she claimed as fact in this video 1; aren’t even the gospel, 2; are very particular to her own particular denomination and not even Christianity as a whole (notice her dig at Catholics among others) and 3; is not by any means proven fact. Which is again shown by the fact that instead of point people towards critical thinking and real research to prove what she’s promoting she instead to just tell them to read their bibles. As if at face value with no context or research all the answers are right there. Also; Your little fictional story you came up with and the fact that you think you can speak for some stranger on the internet’s intentions and that you’re clearly so desperate to believe something as well goes straight to proving point in that she is fear mongering and manipulating people. That is the plain and factual truth that you can use critical thinking and a dictionary to figure out for yourself. I don’t give a crap of you think it’s harsh. What she’s doing is extremely harmful and wrong. How is that not more than “harsh” to you? Get a grip. No one’s denying her her religious beliefs like she’s trying to do to others. But what’s not okay is her putting down people of other religious beliefs, even other Christians, and atheists, and fear mongering those people with her personal beliefs that are not even agreed upon by most Christians. So you need stop with this unhealthy little parasocial relationship you have with this girl and actually use your own mind to think. She doesn’t need you to defend her fear mongering and manipulating people. It’s disgusting and you both should be ashamed.
