Haven’t found the 71ppm, did find “The Original” at 35ppm for $70 US. Will continue the search for this beauty in the meantime. Great review. Cheers All!
Thanks as always for sharing your thoughts Alan. Have not tried any of the Meikle Tòir expressions ... due to the traditionally heavy sherry influence GlenAllechie has. There however will certainly be lovers of this whisky. Slàinte mhath
Just cracked this open. Very nice, well very good but not a nice whisky, more of a bruiser. All four are sitting on the shelf here in NY. Picked up the turbo for the first go and its right up there. I've been enjoying a young Staoisha and KK HP. This is about half the price and perhaps more interesting. I'm glad I didn't get the BW First Peat 4 year old I saw a few months ago for the big money because this is definitely a dangerous dram.
I love all of them and there all readily available to pick up in my market, except this one the Turbo, its make up makes it more limited, so if you can find one tgen well done my friend...
Great review as always Alan, I got really excited about this whisky until I found out the price unfortunately. Its obviously worth the price or you would of said but I'll need to save up and hopefully it's still about later.
Please tell Billy Walker: Nice try same player shoots again. I tried all Meikle Toir and they are all fails. Sorry for that, I love Glenallachie but stick with what is your competency
