Not a single other soul, on the net, the so called jyotish "gurus" & "masters" have been able to do what you have so so so easily do e in this video. Brilliant...! God bless..!
@ionxi an important thing that i didn't get to mention is that most topics involve more than one house. Friends are mainly in the 11th house (they are one way that we benefit from society). Secondarily they are in the 7th house (how we relate with other people), and very close friends can somewhat enter the 3rd house. Mainly the 11th a bit of the 7th and a sprinkle of the 3rd in some cases.
this was beautifully and creatively shared I will never look into paper again to find what each house represents. wow this is as simple as this, thanks Vic here you go again.. good teacher and very very creative one too
the explanation of the houses are so good - i have only watch Vic's channel in search for nakshatras and ended up availing his reports from all other astrologers. the interpretation and translation from the original texts reflect correctly on what i have experienced and observed. the ancient knowledge is preserved on his interpretations. thank you so much Vic.
Very innovative thinking about 12 houses of Horoscope. I love your concept of relating one house with another. One of the great video i found. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I've been struggling to get a grip on houses for a long time, and this is immensely helpful. My thanks for your kindly sharing your wisdom with us Vic. Namaste 🙏 may the divine couple cast Their loving gaze on you and smile on you.
I’m just now viewing this video. I wish I came across it 10 years ago. This is one of the best videos on astrology on RU-vid. Very well done and presented. Thank you.
I wanted to learn astrology and since so long I was trying to find a source with which I resonate and really learn astrology. Now there are many RU-vid channels and there are many videos I am not saying they are not good however I couldn't "understand" astrology, because for me where the meaning of houses were coming from and the roots were important. Knowing that this house represents this wasn't enough. Because learning to me is understanding and I actually found it on your channel. My hope to learn astrology again is renewed. I am glad that my friend shared your sankrit series video to me🌙
A most interpretative demonstration of the essence of thought - in understanding both the meanings and why - Really well done - I appreciate your Passion for and Passion of your understanding of this subject. You're a born Philosopher -
I love astrology but could never understand reasoning behind each house. You presented it in very transparent way and very logical . It was easy to understand. Thank you for that.
Your explanations are so vivid and cohesive. I keep coming back to this lesson in the effort to fully absorb it. Thank you! (Love hearing the little DiCara voices in the background for a few moments, too. God bless!) /\
Thank you, thank you, dear Vraj Kishor for explaining the basics so wondefully! It helped me to get the system of it, like a look from above and seeing the connections of all spikes on the wheel. i always share this one with people who want to catch the meanings of the matrix working fields) i wish this video be more known and viral. Yet we know all great and most precious things stay humble and coverd, they like to take their time))
House 11 is also about associations, the people we (have to) consider kindred spirits. The house of sangha, group meditation or exercise. In a negative way house 11 can bring clannish behaviour or peer pressure
Awesome video 😃 I really liked the imagery and being taken on that journey through birth (1st house) to the final letting go of the body (12th house). I find astrology can get quite cognitive and people talk about this technique and that technique, which are helpful, but it's very beneficial to at times, set all those things aside and come back to those roots and their essence. I would assume that if one is well grounded and has true understanding of the essence all those techniques are like decorations that help adorn what is underneath. Thank you 🌺
Some very unusual ideas here, intermixed with some more usual ones, what books, schools or astrologers have shaped your thinking, or are they more self-generated?
jaco russell I read a lot of different authors but felt dissatisfied - they were all just presenting their own ideas without any reference to any substantial texts, without much rationale, and without much regard for the fact that there were so many competing ideas. So I instead took to studying classical texts, especially Bṛhat Parāśara Hora. I am familiar with Sanskrit because I have studied Indian Culture in depth, so this made it a lot easier to get beyond the less than excellent translations and get to the heart of the matter. Then, I just applied the Upaniṣadic principle: "Knowledge comes by hearing from a good source, trying to understand exactly what it means, and then trying to see it in the real world."
This was such an informative video...I still need more info on the 12th house...people seems to skim over it...now sure about it....I have my Mars in the 12 house of Capricorn....thank you
thank you Mr Di for your great contribution to expand our understanding of astrology and make it simple. question is your 3 book already digital available? lot if blessings to you and familia.
Thank you. You explained this very well. Am just confused why why the circle moved counter clockwise rather than clockwise. Why move from the east to the "darkness below the horizon and then westward above the horizon." If the chart represents each individual person's "sunrise"/birth; I would expect it to move gently upward "through the lighted sky" before it plunged downward below the horizon. More or less how life goes. Birth{spurt}, growth,{incline}; peak,{top}; decline{descend}, death{plunge}.
Brilliant explanation - the best metaphor for 12 houses! How would you interpret a Leo ascendant with Saturn in Cancer in the 12th house and Moon in Capricorn in the 6th house? What kind of dynamic they will play out? And what kind of dignities these two planet will have?
If the initial houses support the Self; what are the implications of the majority of your personal placements being in the latter houses (8-12 ); especially the 12th..farthest from the Self?
This is great, Vic. I like the way you explain important (not all) related concepts of planets and houses via the notion of "themes" . Its philosophical, intuitive and realistic rather than just mere jargon words thrown by many books. Thanks for making this video and sharing with us. I have one suggestion: maybe the music can be made less loud in between the video frame transitions and if possible, reduce the background noise, when shooting outside. Also, of all the things you mentioned, only one thing I did not find "connecting" to the theme. Say, for example, one has look into the matter of children via 5th House but they are not "any" children or anybody else's children - they are your own (first House) children. 5th House shows purva punya / sanchit karma and children or lack of them is deeply tied to those as per esoteric Hinduism. Just my understanding. Finally, I like your style. Thanks, again!
Very nice explanation of the houses. Love it! I am still a bit confused as to why the 2nd house is said to have to do with knowledge and speech following the structure presented in this video? I am thinking that knowledge and speech is something which indeed give essential support to the self, but could you please elaborate a bit on the matter? Like which kind of 'knowledge' and 'speech' are we specifically talking about, and for example how is indications of knowledge from the 2nd house different from those of the 5th and 9th? (and thanks a lot for your answer to my other q somewhere, appreciate it! :))
This was amazing Vic, such a deep, meaningful analysis of the houses which finally answered a lot of my questions over the years. :) I have one question - why is the 9th house, the house describing how our role in society effects other people - is sometimes described as showing our fortune or luck?
Thank you, Vic! I find very intriguing the way you break down the 12 Houses via a model of the sky. Doesn't that promote a Quadrant House System such as Placidus?
Ok, so whatever sign you have in a particular house, you just apply the signs traits to whatever theme of the house is? It's like your personality takes on the personality of that sign for that particular situation? If some houses are empty will that mean you will have problems with those houses?
