The Two Bernies, Bernie Marks and Bernie (Troy) Mac Giollaphadraig Reminiscences of their visits from Swords to Gortahork in the Donegal Gaeltacht in 1950s
by two young girls who wished to improve their Irish language skills. They were encouraged by
local teacher 'Miss Doogan' who was a native of Gweedore. As elderly ladies now they recall
their excitement in going such a long way from home for three whole weeks.
