Senior Gooniyandi Elder Mervyn Street shares his grandmother’s and mother's songline story that traverses Gooniyandi Country in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Songlines carry the first story of this land. But, with the passing of elders, the knowledge of these songlines is in danger of disappearing.
AIATSIS, through its Foundation, has supported this project and others to record and capture Songlines.
