The Type 6 Transporter Review - Lakon's Smallest Trader [Elite Dangerous] 

The Type 6 carried me through a lot of the early game and helped me earn enough for the Asp Explorer.

The Type 6 is the best exploring ship i will ever have. I'm a noob in ED because i started playing in October 2023. Since then i have 640+ hours playtime and i can assure you that roundabout 150+h are in the Type 6 now. My "Jumpin' Jack Flash" is painted in bright orange and i love it to go exploring and do exobiology. He is small enough to land practically everywhere, jumps about 53+ ly and with my new engineered thrusters (338/528m/s) i can easily outrun thargoids when i accidently step over them. I also made my first billion in exobiology with him a few days ago.

I use one of these for farming engineering materials. With engineering and an FSD booster, I've got it up to a 54 light year jump range.

I just love the industrial no-nonsense look. When I'm feeling particularly pedantic, I call it the Bauhaus look but on those days I'll be flying the Dolphin. 🧐 No really, the Dolphin has similar stats.

More credits than I know what to do with but I still love the T6. Industrial/brutalist block shape just calls to me 😏

Beat value for money ship, in my humble opinion. Fully engineered it's nimble and fast, with a good range.

I've got 7 of them. Love the utilitarian look of it. With a 5H Guardian FSD booster & exploration package, I average about 57Ly. I like throwing in an extra fuel tank & getting 650+Ly between refueling. And it is a bit of fun to head to a hi-res site and join the cops in a bit of pirate hunting!

I really liked this ship. Now trade with a Type 9 - but have fond regard for the Type 6.

Is there anywhere that only has a small landing pad? Perhaps there is but I have never noticed one. P.S. I was horrified to discover that the Asp Scout, no, no I did says Scout, is the perfect High Grade Emission Farmer. I went to Coriolis and ordered ships by manoeuvrability and stopped at the first one that could hold everything I wanted. It was the Asp Scout. I was dubious but built it anyway. It works great.

It's a small ship with a big heart. Yay! ... and a small hold. Oh.

It is a nice ship indeed. Next upgrade would be the Type-7. No really, look at the cargo to price ratio.

This thing is ugly blocky unfinished and looks like it's being held together with duct tape. But it gets the job done and makes me a lot of space cr. As a new commander. I'm happy with it. I'm saving for a python. I play on PlayStation so we don't have the Odyssey version of trade routes on inara. But I can make a million cr in profit every 5 mins just selling Triton which as a console peasant I can say it is not bad my type 6 can do 30 lyr jump without engineering it.

I have a type 7 I use as taxi bubble with prismatics and lightweight reverb torpedoes to troll gankers. Matter of fact the other day a fdl interdicted me at deciat (bummer) and I got his shields down he high woke in utter fear. Never underestimate type 7 😂😂😂

ED would be so much a better game if they fix the overly stupid and horrible mess they call Ui and key layout.
