We purchased a mobile home from Luv Homes. We knew we needed 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Luckily we were able to go with The Tyra. We were able to easily convert it into exactly what we needed.
Hey there! We are Two Sisters Homestead, Josi and Laci. We are starting a family compound and a homestead in Central Arkansas. Follow along on this journey with as we navigate the ins and outs of this life we all are about to dive into.

Beautiful! We purchased our mobile home for $13,500 but had to renovate it. It’s on 3 acres so basically the house was free. We started a RU-vid channel and hope to share our home soon. Blessings! ❤lifeatthenutthouse

This house is so beautiful. I’m so happy for you and your family. I’ve been showing my sister these modern double wide homes. We live in Tampa, Florida where it’s become so expensive to buy a home. So we would love to purchase some land and put a home on it.

I don't know if you're hooked up to city sewer, or if you have a septic, but it's not a good idea to use a garbage disposal with a septic (the septic guy told me this, but you can also look it up online). Since it grind's up food, it would add too many solids that will sink to the bottom of the septic, and causes a large increase of waste being pumped into the tank. Because you will also have many people living there, that wouldn't be good, and could end up costing you big $$ down the line, because of septic issues. My mobile home, which started life connected to city sewer, has a garbage disposal, but since it is now on my wooded acreage and connected to a septic, the disposal is never used. It's on my to do list to have it removed. You've got a beautiful home there, and being on your own property makes it even better! Enjoy!

Look into a composting disposal it allows you to use your scraps for garden fertilizer

Thanks! My sister Laci was more than happy giving me the master. She knew that I love baths so said I could have it. As long as she can use the tub sometimes.
