This is kind of an unspoken thing that I thought all men were privy to. If a man wears a hat frequently, he's either balding or having a bad hair day. Taking off any man's hat that you don't know will have consequences, and they can be dire.

the balding hair insecurity probably comes from the fact that he hangs around a lot of young people, and always young pretty girls around and people like that will make fun of something like balding or be very turned off by it.

It’s cool that you covered this man. I seen it happen via that slap clip, seems like a lot of people immediately overlooked that his crutch was taken away. I think both of them act like kids about the situation, but over all it’s down to self esteem and defending your sensitivities. Doesn’t make it right, and the guy does annoy me.. but over all being self conscious about hair is definitely a thing as this channel has made ever so evident! Anyway, good video and I’m glad he was able to shave that head and embrace it.. even though he does act like a child half the time ;)

Since the beginning I knew he was balding because I'm doing the same thing, if you've seen someone wear a hat constantly it's obvious they are balding. Wish I could say going bald solves the issue of insecurity, it doesn't.. Had a friend and even when he was bald, he still wore a hat and constantly shaving his head every other day otherwise it would grow back horribly. So to be honest, there's a benefit in shaving your head because then you're freeing yourself from the burden of styling your hair and make believing going through tedious nuisance of trying to save or get your hair back but on the other hand you accept your fate, you kind of give up internally knowing you wont have full confidence so something will still be compromised.. Life is cruel.

I used to wear a hat anywhere I could, besides special occasions or around people that already knew me. It's been almost 4 years since I started shaving my head and I haven't worn a hat since. Even though I know it's not the best look for me, but it's definitely the best choice to free you from the burden of stressing over every little detail of concealing your hair loss. The issue with the Bradley Martyn incident wasn't so much his hair loss exposure, but how much he felt disrespected by the streamer trying to humiliate him. There are dudes that would get much more violent even if they had a full set of hair simply because of the attempt at humiliating. Something tells me Martyn would do that again even if he is now comfortable with a shaved head.

A girl who said I was handsome recently she asked "Are you bald you're always wearing a hat" I just said "Nope not bald just like hats" Then she said "Bald or not you're handsome, so let me see" I just laughed it off and changed the subject.

People really are blind to the hair industry and everything within it dealing with it. We have the legacy of the barbershops, we have the hairdressers, getting paid 2-300+ to cut, dye, and style women's hair, we have the older people looking to keep color in their hair from the going grey or white, we have cultures and races that rock district hair styles, such as a samurai top knot, we have groups like locks of love that give donated wigs to those who lost their hair from chemotherapy, on and on and on.. Hair IS a big deal, it's bigger than weight loss, bigger then the makeup industry, bigger than the fitness industry. I'm stating this because I'm really sick and tired of the downplaying of the importance of hair to ones self and importance of hair to everyone else. Such a big deal is made to those losing hair, AND IT'S TEMPORARY, from cancer treatment. It's a huge deal, they get caps to wear, wigs to wear, you name it. And the look of their now bald head brings about the look of unhealthiness and people generally will feel bad for that person. Yet, when men and less commonly women, lose their hair from androgens AND IT'S PERMANENT, there's a subset of people that say they should just get over it. How about you parade around and start burning down buildings that cut hair? That's no big deal, right?

I don’t understand why everyone has to shave their hair when they are losing it ? If they have the option to shave it then they also have the option to save it . if Bradley Martin wants to get his hair back so be it who cares ? we are all born with hair so how is it insecure wanting to restore something we’ve always had ? Sure he could shave it and go bald if he wants to do that go for it no issues but what’s the issue in wanting a hair transplant and using medicine to go down the save it route ? . Annoys me when everyone just says shave it when you can go down the other route of saving it if you wish to do so I’m not against shaving your hair and going bald that’s totally fine but I don’t think it’s fair when people are ridiculed for going down the save it route not everyone wants to be bald period .

He doesnt even need the hair cos he has a great headshape for being bald. All he needs to do is shave it off and just get scalp micropigmentation. He’ll actually look great. Especially with all that muscle. But he cant even visually see it himself because psychologically he is still attached to his hair. He hasnt gotten to the acceptance phase yet. Therefore no matter what people say, he will always think he’s ugly without the hat. Thats why he slapped the shit out of that kid. Because he reminded bradley of a false truth that only *bradley himself* believes to be true. I hope he gets past this phase. He’s actually blessed for having a good headshape for baldness. I did this for years, still wear hats quite a bit, it absolutely nukes your hair. If you’re trying to keep the hair whatsoever then you gotta cut back on wearing hats.

Here is the thing , as a bald and red pilled, i believe that we are all programmed , having nice hair cut increases atractiveness, we need to accept that . But maybe this is max 1 point over 10 point. Besides you can be super valuable, rich , funny, smart which you can get 8-9 point over 10. So please do not mix those things. We are programmed to react looking, lets accept it but it is good to consider our most benefit for our time investing, meaning that not thininkg only hair while forgeting our life improvement etc. Peace:)

Aga is often annoying when dating the opposite sex. However, people who are 1.96 meters tall, muscular with a perfect jaw and eye area like Bradley could get over it also because in their case the baldness is not as serious as in other cases.

sadly in 2024 you are judged by your looks first, pretty privilege is a thing. hair makes everyone more attractive and for some is a game changer. i had a full head of hair and looked great but once it all fell out i definitely feel like a sub human. now its the i cant leave the house without a hat phase its very annoying. im already faced with disadvantages and losing my best feature was the final nail in the coffin. probably the 2nd most humbling experience a man can face.

Sometimes people just have a bad day, the universe says f you whilst you got an image to maintain. The teenager deserved that slap, we are allowed to have our insecurities. We don’t have to, or shouldn’t need to feel we have to overcome everything as men. Is wearing a hat really this bad? Of all self destructive activities he could engage in like drinking or gambling?
