Today I'm excited to present a new watch in collaboration with the Islander brand, celebrating three years of our monthly #WatchTalk show with my good friend Marc Frankel of Island Watch. Sorry, The 8N24 and 8N33 are both 3-hand skeletonized movements from Miyota, however the 8N33 is a manual wind movement

Afterwards, it is a matter of waiting until your local authorities claim for the taxes, most of the times payable to the courier company, and receive the parcel at home. No complexity at all...

Hats off!!! Congratulations on the project because you gave the watch some "continuity" to the rangemaster and yet, its own appeal, and it has so many tiny details that make it special: the open back with carved saphire, the mate black dial, the golden movement, the lumed "lion", the 100m wr (better than the Hamilton)...and finally, the donation to the NGOs... you got me 100%.

I was 90% sure I was going to buy this prior to even seeing it, I missed out on not only the Rangemaster, but the Squale X TGV that was in my cart as it sold out. As an enjoyer of field watches I was happy to see this and was just on the fence about whether or not I wanted a mechanical watch as everything I own is quartz or auto. I was mulling it over and when the site crashed I decided if there were any on Thursday, I’d buy it. Bought mine at 7:30 this morning and I’m very excited. I’ve got some fun straps on the way to add to the collection as well to play around with it on. So expect some photos in the future! Thanks for being two Genuine guys, watch enthusiasts, not taking yourselves too seriously, and helping me really delve deeper into the hobby of horology. Just a great watch, guys! I frankly love that reverse internal dome on the caseback crystal, it speaks to the design decisions that we engineers make all the time to MAKE IT WORK! If I'd seen this before I ordered the grey JFK last week, it would have been a much more difficult choice. Sadly, I'm sure it will be sold out before I'm ready to press the go buttom again. Oh my goodness, that gilded movement is gorgeous. The contrast with cool grey case makes it such an unexpected treat for the eye. A warm heart underneath a cool exterior. Walking around all day, knowing that it's there, I'd be so tempted to take the watch off and have a look. I have a Hamilton Field Khaki and it now looks boring by comparison. The gilding, the bubble combined with the elements of the Rangemaster... this is genius design.
