I just got one too! I had the PG27AQDM which is pretty much the same as this one, but matte. I was able to sell it on ebay for 550.00 so i made up most of the cost!
@@BrentCox2B sweet! I am loving it so far. This is my first OLED monitor. My previous one was a 32inch 1440p VA from Dell. There is clearly more detail and the colors really pop. The many different picture modes change things to a crazy level. So far I like Cinema, Racing, and RPG modes the best in that order.
It would be awesome if someone released a video going into detail about how to get the most out of the monitor and the settings since I am a bit of a noob to dialing things in
I'll wait to see if other glossy stuff come out and choices increase. My current panel is 27 inches so i was kind of looking to jumping to 32 inches as well so i'll wait to see if 32 inch glossy OLED monitors start appearing.
means nothing... mate is best for online gaming... no matter what. I have fully glossy oled and QD VA panell better for gaming with QDva panel.. is matte finish, at day better. at night oled.
Man your review are really good, I bought a 32ucdm back in march and I freaking love it, 32 inch is a little big for my setup, if I could go back in time I would probably wait a little and buy this 27 inch monitor, both monitors are amazing regardless
I really want to see you doing a SIM racing setup with all the stuff like the cockpit steering wheel pedals shifter and play games like forza and assetto corsa. Really looking forward to a video about it
There is no need for a 4K monitor cuz the only GPU can run smoothly in 4K is 4090 4080 Super it struggles and imagine the new games in 2025 the 4080 aint gonna have the power to hold more than 80fps in 4K
Finally a Glossy Oled! I got the 4k 138hz from RoG though that was 2 months ago. I can play on pc 4k 120 which is good enough for me 240 is just overkill. Nice video as always.
Your video's are an instant-like. Great review. Nice monitor I love 27 inch form factor so this is a serious option for me to replace my Samsung Odyssey G7 for when my new PC comes in. The old setup will be the 3rd or guest setup than.
Anyone else know how to fix the problem of the monitor constantly flashing? I got this monitor for months now and It flashes all the time! idk how to fix this!
Im hoping they also release the 32" glossy woled with dual resolution mode based of the LG panel before the holidays. It's the one im waiting for. All the features of the PG32UCDM with dual mode and glossy woled instead of samsung QLED. I may cave in and get the QLED. It depends if i can see one on display to see how bad the purple/grey black issue is in a decently lot room.
Finally a glossy OLED! For now i might wait for a 32" version but I love that this is an option! Been following OLED tech since 2003, still rockin' one of the first OLED laptops! (Lenovo X1 Yoga). Glossy is definitely the way! Glad this is so good!
Curious ... what type of OLED tech does your laptop have? Also, how has it held up over time in terms of burn in and all of the cons that come with owning an OLED screen?
Did they improve the screen (beyond brightness) over the previous generation WOLEDs? I have the matte Asus 27 inch WOLED from last year and there are more problems with it than just the excessively thick matte coating on it. There's a sort of vignetting to it that I've noticed and a lot of other people have talked about. But the biggest issue is the panel uniformity. Very, very noticeable vertical banding on gray backgrounds, which was apparently an issue with all of last year's WOLED monitors. If they fixed those problems I may jump on this thing for the glossy coating
Finally GLOSSY!!! The sharpness must be because it's glossy. I've got a glossy 1080p laptop screen and looks fabulous and mush sharper compare to my previous matt finish 1080p laptop..
Great looking panel man, love the glossy OLED! Even though I usually mount my monitors, I even like the stand here. I think if this was 4K, 32" and HDMI 2.1 it would be even more amazing, though at 27" the PPI looks crisp at 1440p regardless.
@@SpawnPoiint You’ll be blown away by that display for sure, Insane color accuracy, a little lower end on brightness but still would be worth checking out
Depends on if you prefer glossy or not. Or really the lighting of your gaming environment. I have the PG27AQDM and my room is pretty dark so it's perfect. I would like to try this one for comparison sake but I'm not sure. The PG27AQDM works on my PS5 perfectly.
comparing this glossy coating to LG C2 coating, it feel like they just put glossy coating over a matte coating, atleast it kindaa looks like it, its not true mirror like sharp glossy like LG C2 has
You mention it accepts 4k on the PS5 and downscales, is this still @ 120hz with VRR? Rtings states a no for 4K, but on the MSI mpg271qrx & Aorus FO27Q3 (both 1440p) it states 4K yes, downscaled at 120 & VRR
hello bro please tell me %100 oled G4 or C4 Burn in after along year?? when iam using for ps5 and Fillm or RU-vid ( my country doesn't support 5 years warranty for G4 (LG Malaysia🇲🇾) Idon't know what to do? ) my english not good for see your video to understand😘 and bro some people told me after 10000 hour burn in🤦♂️usually how many years panel alive without burn in in this new model oled☺️? seller don’t right talk with me 😅
It's a E-Waste!! Asus withheld a lot of features on this Monitor. I'll patiently wait with my 2022 LG Ultragear IPS 27inch until Asus adds all the bells & whistles for my money.
Don't want to burst anyone's bubble but this screen is not full glossy. In fact, the new gen 3 QD oled screens are more glossy then this screen. There are photos of magnified images of the screen this display has and it shows alot of grain compared to the gen 3 QD OLED screens. Just wanted to share this info for any one who cares. Nonetheless, this display is top notch! I hope to see the display companies continue to improve the glossy screens of WOLED monitors. My Gigabyte FO27Q3 arrives tomorrow...cant wait ... it will be my first OLED monitor. I hope it lives up to all the hype ive heard on the internet.
Where did you find/buy that frame where you have the GTA Vice city? It looks so amazing and I would like to do the same with my vice city, San Andreas and V. Thank you!
This monitor is unbelieavable!!! To anyone looking to buy it do it without hesitation. It’s like learning new colors so much it’s vibrant and clear. Pro tip : turn off screen saver, it will boost the brightness even more
Lack of usb-c and that ugly gamer design kill it for me. If they didn’t have that logo bump at the bottom it’d be better bc I can hide the back and just use a monitor arm for the stand. Also, no hdmi 2.1??
Bro don’t you miss the lggn950 and it’s elder bros… I want them to make a 27inch 4k 240hz or more but oled! It would be so sick! I’m one of the few that love 4k 27inch.
This monitor is promising and has something to say, I mean it contributes to an immersive experience especially with the ps5. Nevertheless, I would not pick it up even if I had the money, it's rather a matter of state of mind
awesome to see woled glossy....its asus though so hard pass. Good luck with that warranty, im one of them that had a bad case with them screwing me over. Never again asus!
Great looking monitor! I'm not sure I want (or afford OLED ) just yet. Have you had any experience with the ROG Strix XG27ACMG? It seems to me, on paper at least, to be the IPS version of this same monitor. It came out at the same time and I can't find any impressions/videos on it. Can you help provide any assistance? Thanks!
