I’ve been collecting watches now for a while and to be honest I do feel oddly nostalgic for those early days where I was getting to grips with everything and trying to understand what the difference was between a good watch and a well let say not so good watch.

Agreed about the Orient Kamasu. I’d add the Casio Duro and maybe the Steeldive SD1970. 😊

That is actually a pretty damn good list. I have nothing to complain (even though I wouldn't get a PRX).

I did a video on how to buy secondhand a few years back. It touched on vintage but didn’t get into too much detail. I’ll definitely do a video on it soon - but in the meantime the about effing time channel did a video on vintage watches and it’s well worth a watch.

I should start giving dislikes for any further video promoting the PRX. I’m REALLY fed up with this boring, overrated, ubiquitous thing being pushed down my throat.

Well I understand your opinion it does feel like the PRX has been everywhere in recent years. But I would argue that this is a perfect beginner watch for someone just starting out. Good specs, a lot of different colour ways and a vintage inspired design. But it’s not for everyone, I sold mine because I didn’t feel it was needed in my collection anymore but I still think it’s a good gateway Watch.
