Best watch for around £60 is the Watchdives WD1960S and WD1970s 36mm VH31 Men Watch. Often on sale.

Hi Dan. Quick question about Casio’s, particularly G-shocks. What are the best online sellers for the older and classic models? I’m not a fan of modern G-shocks and I was really after a 6900 but had to get it from Amazon US. Price was OK, but it’s been nearly 2 weeks and there’s still no sign of it and Amazon just says there has been a delay. Interested to hear which other online sellers I could try. Cheers, Richard

The Addie's Pilot is on my list, NH35, sapphire, screw down crown and 200M WR IWC homages for less about $50 USD on sale. My only wish is for a type B dial option and a better second hand.

@@watchmewithwatches The one on the black and gold Duro is one you called “tasty waffle “ in black . I have one in green too I think as well as a retro looking rough leather one in greyish I can’t remember what you called that style but it’s on a weird little hexagonal seiko from the 70s

First watch, the Lorus is a great little watch. I've just bought another. First one i had years ago, went in the washer by mistake. Full wash cycle later, the only thing different about it, was that it was clean. Cheers.

Based upon your Review which I watched today, I decided to buy the “Loros Lumibrite” & went with the link you left & bought it from Argos for £29 ! My opinion is, I’m actually blown away with the quality of it, I cannot believe I’ve paid peanuts for it, finish is exceptional & the Luminosity is insane! I may change out the strap at some point, but it’s perfectly serviceable at present! I Absolutely love it pal, thanks so much for the Review!

i have both lorus watches , lovely , and that price 😲. lot of watch for the price . Dont get the new duro , small . Get the older model , and change that strap .

Since getting that Lorus Lumibrite, I have lost the lust for buying watches as this had become my all time favourite! I wouldn't mind an automatic version though. Got the DW and the 14:00 AE which are my other faves

The disappointment when it arrived from Amazon still leaves a bitter taste. Why is the damm thing so large? I gifted it to my brother and he is crazy about it. Come on Casio give us a real Duro with a decent wearable size. And no that 50m wannabee doesn't count.

With the quality of Chinese watches, I don't understand the appeal of the Duro. My pagani design diver has a more stylish look, more sophisticated design, 200m wr, nh35 automatic movement and sapphire crystal for $58 usd. The Duro looks outdated in my eyes and not retro cool. And the mention of Bill gates? He might be rich, but fashion wise, he's been outdated since he started Microsoft.
