Oh my god, this is the victor guide that i was looking for, i ve seen previous victor guides but they didn t explain you how Víctor is supposed to be played or what are the most optimal moves in neutral, they just go through a bunch of moves and tell the properties but they didnt tell you if the move is really important or not , this guide has helped me understand the character ALOT better, i love playing victor i just couldn t figure out his Gameplan , thank you so much and keep up with the good content❤❤❤❤
Good guide! Some additional notes I'd like to add: - 2 has good "tracking" since it swipes horizontally. - You can U+F 1+2 grab from Perfumer! - You can Heat Smash from crouch, so you can use Perfumer D+F, Heat Smash. - You can flip downed characters or counter hit them with D 1+2 during oki, especially near wall. Still looking for good application of B 2, if anyone has any strats.
@@sketchsi oki is short for okizeme, which is wake-up game. If you knock your opponent down and you're near them, you can press down and 1+2 to techno explode your fist into the ground. Sometimes it can tornado/corkscrew if you time it right.
Yoo imortalsoul, and all victor players!!! I’ve got a tip for perfumer 1+2 on block. It is +4 on block giving you access to a frame trap to conditioned ur opponent with stances if they bite. (Note “p” stance has a uf1+2 throw) 21 F! - i12 (“p” stance transition) 222 (Iai stance transition… recomend only use if u have a counter hit read, other options are safer for mix) B1 - i14( transition to “P” stance) B12 counterhit sequence (high crush jabs) Df4 2 - i13. (Iai stance transition) F42 - i14 F41 heat engage Df1 & Df 11 Db1 check / Db11 f! (“p” stance transition) Uf 1 / uf11 / Uf11 D! - i13 (Iai stance transition) So perhaps after u block punish with 21 u got stance 1+2. If they block then hit B1, hit confirm to stance transition and u have mixup Sorry if this is too long I just wanted to share the love of victor by sharing what I’ve learned. 4,3 delayed 2 deals the same damage as 1, df1, df3+4(shoulder). The one ending with the shoulder has better frames afterwards so you get better Oki. So if you REALLY wanted to optimize, you'd be using this.
@@imortalXsoul i definitely did. i needed to work on my neutral with the character as well as finding other frame traps besides the wr2, 1+2 and i didn’t know how good f1+2 was as a tech trap. learned so much.
My biggest issue I run into while playing Victor is when I’m getting constantly pressured. I don’t know what to go for to get them off of me. I usually go with powercrush , 12 full crouch d12 to reset. His biggest strength to me so far is his ability to mix his footsie. His range for his attacks is great.
I've been using d/f+3,4,2 as a wall combo sometimes. How does it compare to these? A lot of the time when I land it, the third hit is less scaled than the first two (unless it's a high wallsplat)
i wouldnt recommend uf11 in neutral, it is slightly hit confirmable but not a reliable hit confirm. Window is too short to use it as one of your main mids imo
