Tip for anyone who's just now getting into FPS games. Stop staring at your damn crosshair. When you want to pick up a glass of water, you don't look at your arm and drag it while you reach the cup. Instead you focus on the cup and you bring your arm into your line of sight. The same thing is true for FPS`. Your eyes should be scanning multiple places, assuming you don't know the enemy's position. Once you see an enemy, your eyes should focus on his head(best case scenario) or at the very least on his torso, once that is done, you move your crosshair in that direction and stop moving it when it appears in the center of your line of sight, which is the head/torso of the enemy.
Just figured this out in the practice range yesterday. I was so much more accurate when I looked at where I wanted to shoot instead of looking at my crosshair.
I tried doing that and i was worst in all match. I didn't pushed, just wanted to kill enemy brimstone, and reloading after shooting one bullet just to see the reloading animation, i will say- never pick that weapon skin if you see, it's too distracting
He said in every gun fight, which mean when you and your enemies totally in the open and shooting each other. Not when you shooting and the enemy starting to react to your shots. That's different. Also, he said crouch as much, which mean you crouch and never let go the button. Just look at the clip 6:20. The enemy indeed lost but that's what he meant by try not crouching as much.
Anyone here knows how effective crouching really is? I used to play CSGO a lot before and I remember crouching being much more effective after the first few “accurate” shots so you should be using it in gunfights unless your enemy is a dumbass that aims on the body.
@@abcdefghi894 when i see people crouch i always get killed by them when i do not crouch i cant get a single kill and then when i crouched i still cant get a kill am i just that bad
I also really like the technique called "magnetic head", where you will get oneshot in the head every round, while the same enemy can't kill any of your teammates
This guide is awesome, also the comments are extremely helpful here, instead of the usual YT comments, very cool. One thing though: when the effective DPI is in question, one thing NOBODY ever talks about, is mouse space. Not everybody playing (especially with free games having relatively low requirements) on streamer setups, their mouse space might be limited. For a good 3 months now mine is too. I have a "normal size" mousepad, which is relatilvely small nowadays, and i had to rotate it 90° just to have it fit somewhere on my desk. So even though I want to use even lower sens settings than I do now, it's impossible (currently). I know, i should give myself more space, I just dont have anymore space left in my room or on my desk, and I know for a fact I am not alone here.
QOTD: I have the vandal skin and I don't think its distracting because when you have the skin for a little while you don't get distracted as you would if you don't have it and pick it up and be like wow that's a cool skin and you look at all the animations it's just my opinion I like it a lot
I can't understand myself. When I start recording, I mostly have 50-50 per cent of winning/losing rate, and my kill average is 10-18. When I play just for fun (f.e. today) I had 35 kills and ranked up to bronze 3. Fate is strange sometimes.
My fav gun is guardian. Its dirt Cheap to buy and you can get that gun + all abilities every round. I got my love for that SDM gun from Black Ops 4. almost any target will die from 2 body shots.
I panic a lot in this game LMAOO the anxiety fear and excitement get to me and i spray and pray even doe i practice tapping so much lol the jump scares of people coming out of smokes and peeking or rushing me gets me smh
Love the elderflame set!! In a free game I'm happy to pay for cosmetics I'm loving for when I'm enjoying the game. This is a game I play every day and don't play many other games. So the money I save from not buying other games I'll happily put into supporting the game I'm playing to continue getting more content!
QOTD: it looks sick but the animations are too distracting and sometimes confusing.. But still i look cool when my enemy drops the gun and i get to hold it!
I stoped spraying and only tap, now I do really well now I think all of these are just fun play style I feel it’s bad to mixed them, find one that you are good at and stick to it
The dragon op has a clever strategy. If you master it, and lose it. You can be 100% sure the enemy will struggle using it against you. Plus its too enticing to not grab it. Best way to throw off the enemy team
QOTD: I like them, i prefer the second and third chroma because of the neat looking dots which variant 1 and 4 dont have. Compared to other games i like that every skin has its own character, and not a reused template. As example The dragon faces are all different.
Same, the elderskin guns are very distracting!! I picked one up during a sudden death match then I died while being distracted by the gun, i suddenly cant find the my crosshair/middle of the screen
I really liked the way you held the reaver and I was disappointed when it didn’t come back in the full release so when I saw you held elder flame melee the same way I knew I would need to get it (I did)
Valkyrae had a pretty good point about the dragon skins cost. If it’s more expensive, less players have the skin - so the skin is more special to own. Since it’s not something that’s required to play the game, it’s okay to be expensive.
My EDPI is like 3k. And that was after I turned off hardware acceleration which really made my mouse feel slow after, lmao. And a point not mentioned, most pros have like half of their desk set up all for their mouse. As most people only have the standard small box mousepad pad setups. Like normal people.
QOTD: I hate the entire set the only thing I like is the awp because the vandal is so weird and makes me play worse with it (looks like you’re holding a dragon) the awp is the only exception because when you use it you’re scoped in
QOTD: The elder flame set is the 1st one I've really come across where I REALLY want an option to be able to turn off certain VFX's... I upgraded the Vandal one to get the last black and blue colour scheme, but I find the reload animations too distracting and wish I could turn it off. I don't even use the skin anymore because I find it covers so much of the screen and makes me glance at it every time it moves when reloading. I really hope Riot adds an option to turn off certain skin VFX's AND the option to disable enemy skins because I often pick up the elder flame set guns which as I said above, I don't like to use when it's upgraded
QOTD: Yes, they are extremely overpriced. Around $100 for the bundle is just insane.. It’s hard for League of Legends players to buy skins for guns that you won’t use/enjoy the skin for the entire match because on League, when you buy a champion skin, you will enjoy it for the entirety of the match. Does that make sense? I’m rlly tired while typing this lol
i feel if this game had a recoil system like siege it will be more fun with a higher skill ceiling+ its super annoying when ur doing everything right in a burst/spray but the shoots go to the right at the last sec and the enemy who is in the air jumping get a random headshoot at u and if they need to buff/nerf a weapon but they dont want to change its DPS and TTK they can nerf/buff recoil i think this will make it easier to make new weapons maybe same dps and ttk like phantom but higher recoil and less price
QOTD: I didn't buy it cuz of the price but the design is so gorgeous especially on vandal. Also since i didn't buy i usually steal them or ask my mate for the elderflame skin by drop.
Just go ADS with ares or odin and spray mid to long range easily, Ares and odin have the best recoil pattern when goin ads and u can just melt down everyone, Very high sensitivity players or those with not so perfect aim can use ares or odin on ads, note it, u must add otherwise they are so bad, If u have good aim, u will be better with vandal or guardian, If u r very skilled then marshal is the go to
Panicking and suddenly bursting and spraying indefinitely is the last thing I do in-game, that's one of the most reason that causes my deaths in a single match
Can y'all do something about the shotguns ? specially about the judge, it has a lot of not so obvious mechanics that i'm not too sure how to implement in my games as Jett
I only like the knife skin everything else looks distracting to me, that's why I don't really like them. Edit: I commented even though your comment is not done yet but yeah I agree.
I think the Elderflame skins look SUUUPER cute. Whenever my duo partners pick an Elderflame Vandal up from a fallen enemy (we nicknamed him Drago) they pop off for the next couple of rounds.
I actually do a sort of burst on the sheriff where i shoot twice at one player and it 9/10 kills them (I'm new to the game so I can't headshot that good)
I got just the Operator, my fav is the blue and pink xD, the knife is sick but too expensive and the op i thought that is too big on the hand, i didnt like it kkk
I have a. Problem where I sooo too short bursts, especially with smgs I can’t get kills at close range when my enemy opens up full auto when I’m bursting
QOTD: Agree with what you said. They're way too expensive and over the top. The animations, finisher, etc. is just distracting and I think stuff like this has no place in a FPS focused on competitiveness. Also, I just wanna point out that there's a higher tier of skins than the Elderflame skin line that hasn't been revealed yet. I don't even wanna think about the pricing and the looks of those skins.
It's hard for me to tap fire. I usually click left mouse but then another bullet escapes as well if I'm not using ADS. Edit: this only happens on auto fire guns of course.
