No offense but you need to redo this video, you refer to the 94’ crown Vic as a 44’ and when showing the impala SS interior, you show some interior of a 2010’s era Chevy
This artificial intelligence mess needs to go! Nobody wants to do the research. They put this crap out and not even check or proof read/watch their work.
Here is my take on many late 80s early 90s and late 90s to present day police vehicles I've owned/driven: 1988 Dodge Diplomat (Civilian model but bare bones): Lots of mechanical issues, far from the best car, owned it about a year and a half. Excellent in the "police car looks" however. 1990 Chevy Caprice 9c1: One of the best used cars I ever owned. Mechanical issues, but nothing major over 4.5 years of ownership. Wish I still had it! 1991 Ford Crown Victoria: Ex-Fire dept. car. Not too bad, smooth runner, some issues mechanically, didn't own for long, traded it in along with above mentioned Caprice for a new Dodge Ram. (Regret that decision to this day!) 1994 Chevy Caprice: Several mechanical issues including the transmission, owned for 4 years. Fast as F**k with that LT1Corvette engine! And into this century: 2000 Ford Crown Victoria: Not a bad runner, not my primary daily driver though. Had it for about 8 years, mechanical issues from time to time, but nothing really major. Had 156,000 miles when I got, left it off with around 171,000 when I donated it to charity. 2010 Ford Crown Victoria: My primary daily driver. Had it 10 years as of today, 7-4-24. 75,000 miles on it when bought, 189,000 currently. Ranks as best used car I have ever owned, right ahead of the 1990 Caprice. Needed new rear end put on it about 9 years ago, but I still consider this car the best I've owned to date. I will only get rid of this car if the engine or trans. goes out, period.
You are gem of a car enthusiast. We are currently working on a crown vic documentary 😀 Your comment has just boosted up the whole team. This video will go on air in a week. Stay tuned 😇😇😇
I remember in the mid 90's a neighboring town from mine switched from Crown Vics to Caprices. In less than 2 years I remember reading in the paper they had to use emergency funding to buy Crown Vics again because the Caprices were in the shop more than on the road.
Where I live in West Tennessee everybody's running around in retired 90s to early 2000 Crown Vics and Caprice Classics that they auctioned off long with impounded vehicles at the police auctions
There was no Impala SS police car. There was the 4th Gen Caprice 9C1 with the LT1 engine from the SS but not the same cars. Also you showed interiors from a 07-13 Tahoe and same era Impala lol.
I'll never forget when I was a police officer with LAPD Los Angeles Police Department, in 1994 we started receiving our newest police cars! The Department had chosen the new generation Chevrolet Caprice with the LT1 V8 260hp detuned Corvette engine with 4 wheel disc breaks and heavy duty everything, multi port fuel injection and factory true dual exhaust! This police car was leaps snd bounds above the Ford Crown Victoria they were replacing, which had the 4.6L V8 only making 210 hp, so the 1994 9C1 LT1 police package Caprice was SOOOO MUCH BETTER! Went much faster, stopped much faster, cornered much faster! That was a great police car and so comfortable, Cloth power bucket seats, power locks, power windows, am/fm stereo, air conditioning! It was a pleasure to drive these police cars!
Those cars made very little power. We're talking maybe 200 -250 hp. What they did make was torque. But during that time period that came at a compromise. The 3 speed slip n slide transmissions were durable but lively. The suspension was boaty at best even with improvements for PD service. The only saving grace was the rear end gearing for pursuit vehicles.
Were you expecting some BBC, CNN or National Geographic coverage? VO is human, script is human, VE is all licensed, TN is from a designer. The only AI tuned shit spitting mouth is yours who can’t critique positively. Grow up, you useless piece of nothing. Bring up something positive in society rather than this nothing 🤣🤣🤣
