Maaan i was shocked i started fresh and never have i ever seen the goblins in the village literally explode me with grease and fire arrows… my jaw dropped at the damage to my whole party turn one lol.

that fight can be a bit hectic in tact if ur like lvl 2 or 3 i personally usually just illitheid power my way through (or sneak into gobbo town to be branded to get through those goblins without a challenge)

Just wanted to say that watching you play BG3 has been wonderful. The first Baldur's Gate was my first ever computer game, so you can imagine how much fun I am having with 3. I have only recently stumbled upon your channel, so I don't know if you have done that - start a drow, goblins will never be an issue xD Or if you have the mask of shapeshifter - change to a drow. Goblin camps, villages - whatever, Minthara taught them to be scared of a drow on sight!

Nice vid! Literally doing my “3rd” run as a solo, tactician, no reloads run. Very tricky indeed. I’ve had the best luck with light domain cleric for lvls 1-5. Then a multi class of 1Cl war domain, 2Fi, 4Pal vengeance. I’ve been focusing on getting radiating orb/reverberation items. Been having to document a master strat to make redos easier.

The reason I made it a duo because as a solo I have been in a lot of situations that are just RNG that would just kill the run for no reason. With a duo it allowed me to adapt and use strategies to recover to a better position in which came in handy many times during this run and made it fun and interesting. As a solo, I have a plan on how I would do it but I am not sure if I want to just bash my head against RNG, I find that above all things want things to be fun and I am not sure if that would be given the frustations that are easily faced.

@@Luality I have to agree %100! On my second solo playthrough after mixing in a duo run(except I don't do no reload) and there are just too many situations that are just RNG. Literally, just a saving throw fail on a hold person could end the whole run, which is not fun and why I don't do no reload. But if that's the challenge you're going for, duo run definitely makes sense!

Man. I saw some of your other videos where you somehow had godtier builds. I was legit impressed and figured I'd watch this video to see how you kind of naturally created your character. Anyway, going from seeing you kill Raphael and all his goons in one turn to seeing you get one shotted by a goblin made me laugh. It was just so unexpected to me. But seriously, i really enjoy your voice and your energy. I'm glad i stumbled across your channel.

By the way, that comment about Shart at 1:31:20 is only true if she defies Shar. If she goes full Dark Justiciar, then she can use the mirror for free and get the stats. I just did a evil Oathbreaker Shart run recently.

I mean the Paladin Vs fighter…the only thing fighter is getting on a short rest is the action surge and maybe maneuvers if you’re battle master. Otherwise, the Paladin and fighter are copies except the Paladin also has more on top

Grease doesn't agree with you I think lol. The undead outside Wither's room are easily dealt with by forcing them to run into the room. I always just hide in the room and let them come to you and you kill them one by one as they enter. Paladin with Gloves of Dex and Club of Hill Giant's Strength from the tower in the Underdark + a shield isn't bad or if you don't mind having less AC, you can DW the club and something else. then you can leave your strength at 8 and your dex at 8 and still have 17 and 18 respectively without using potions.
