Keep in mind this entire video is now outdated since a bunch of the strats are now either much better or no longer possible. For example since now specialists are locked into the four classes you can no longer spam AA with Angel because you need an engineer teammate or put spawn beacons in cheeky spots with the wingsuit or grapple. That and most if not all of the bugs mentioned in the video are gone(the game most definitely still has a few though).
@@zackou242d5 Nope, I think it's because they kept the BF1 vehicle physics that also didn't allow explosive launching. I guess it was a quirk of the Frostbite engine that might've been ironed out when they wanted better vehicle physics by making them feel heavier and it removed launching as a result.

The reason why 2042 sucks is because they essentially had a b or c team work on it as a battle royale game until about a year before release at which point, they tried to salvage it into a battlefield game. Also, nobody knows how to use the frostbite game engine since all of the original devs got sick of EAs shit and left during and after Battlefield V.
Probably the really piss-poor c4/c5 launch, as compared to the advertisement (and also previous Battlefield games) was less deliberate fraud and more like it's just one more casualty of an unfinished game. As usual management is full of subhumans who either failed upward or were given the title by Daddy.
