Congratulations on 100k. Ive followed you a while and am glad you finally made it up here. I know you love the Gulf coast, but the OBX is something special. I grew up fishing w my dad at Cape Point ('im now 45) and cooking on the beach is how we do it. Great Channel and content.

You made it to OBX in the nick of time! The past few days we've had king tides along with a strong nor'easter. The result,, huge beach erosion, overwash breaches of the dunes,, flooded coastal roads,, mud for water,, floating debris,, and high winds!

There’s really nothing quite like NC surf fishing. From the Banks down to my favorite spot on Fort Fisher, you roll up, bring what you need, stay as long as you can, and have one of the best days ever - every time. So glad you got to come out and enjoy the Tarheel State.

Fresh fish on the beach...that's as good as it gets.

Awesome adventure. Some of the best trips I’ve ever made is when I just loaded up the truck and took off without a plan and some deer steaks to cook over a wood fire. Good times

Just got back from OBX. I picked a difficult weekend , noreaster with 30-40 mph winds. Current so strong 6 oz pyramid couldn't hold. Hard fishing.

Hiya Beach Bum. Got a suggestion for you,next time you go to Cape Hatteras. You can travel all along the coast using their ferry service. A nice spot to go is Ockracoke Island,it's real nice there. But you can also take the Cedar Island ferry and go further south. Now what you want to see is Beaufort (pronounced Bo fort),and a little past that is Morehead City. If Carolina Princess is still there,that was one heckuva head boat,they go offshore bottom fishing,if you feel like checking that out. Lot of sights to see around Morehead. Tryon Palace comes to mind,hope the spelling is right,been awhile. Well anyway, glad you had a great time there,I always liked it down there. Oh yeah,Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach is nice too.😁
