I love using a blue Bic round stic with my $5 notebook. It doesn't have to cost a lot to get your ideas down on paper! Great video!

not quite as cheap and disposable, at 3-4 times the price, but the faber castell XB refills are the nicest ballpoint i have ever used. shades wonderfully, and glides almost like a fountain pen.

The black ink Bic Round stic pens have been used at my church for the congregation to take notes for at least 5 years. The pens are also used by someone at my Dr's office.

Uni Pin fine line - Mitsubishi Pencil! Technically technical drawing pens but the ink dries instantly and it comes it a number of different nib weights. Classic PD pen! I ll try the one in your video too! Thanks

I loved using this and the hexagonal one but then the faber castell triangular fine ballpoint hit me real hard and I can't stop using it. Tho I don't know of its sold out of brazil, its made in Peru btw

The only "con" is that it doesn't work well with alcohol markers on print paper. It bleeds.

I notice artist using the ballpoint for really realistic drawings...Problem is, the ink is not archival especially for the blue color, so it will fade rather quickly whether it is in direct or indirect light or whether it is framed under archival glass...does not matter..still fades. I guess, make a good digital file of your work and then store the original covered in a drawer somewhere!? Great video sir, loved it!

Scott robertson teached me to use a piece of toiletpaper beside your sketch and once in a while turn the nibb of the penn in the toiletpaper to whipe off the ink.
