BT3 on the Wii was sick dude, not only did it look better, but doing kamehamehas yourself in your living room was just a dream as a kid. And if you really wanted to, you could always grab a classic controller and play normally

I noticed today that the bt4 mode doesn't have the thing to stop you from spamming the same combo over and over again. You can also transform whenever.

I can always tell a fellow denizen of the old-school DBZ fandom internet when they use "SSJ" like I do. People these days don't know how we had that drilled into our heads XD Great vid. Regarding CPU vs CPU, believe it or not that was practically my favorite mode, and it's my number one thing I hope Sparking Zero has. I used to set up all kinds of fights and just watch them like my own episodes of the show, and I'd do random-character all-CPU tournaments and just see who'd come out on top, sometimes using custom versions of characters to make power levels more lore-accurate. I've seen a lot of other people say the same in comments on other BT3 videos, and considering there's entire twitch and youtube channels dedicated to it, it's apparently more common than I'd thought. I'm sure it only works because of how close the gameplay is to the show's fights.

Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters - Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down) - Fusions mid-battle - Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel - Tons of extra content - Story mode covering all sagas + movies - What If sagas - Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot) - Great tournaments that rotate availability - Edit characters with items (buffs) - 5v5 battles - Really Great and Epic Soundtracks - Destroyable environments - Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives - Mission 100 being a great challenge - Artwork is 10/10 - Sound effects are great - Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 and all of PSP DBZ games except of Dragon Ball Z Evolution are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective.

Making a separate comment for this point (hello algorithm), but I absolutely agree on the "unlocking characters" part. Sparking Zero's director said it has multiple ways to unlock characters, some from story mode, some purchased by earning points, some through "other means" (considering summoning Shenron is back, that's definitely one). I'm hoping we start out with only the basic starting versions of the 8 characters we can play in story mode, and have to unlock everyone else from there. For some reason a lot of people have turned against unlocking characters these days, but to me it's like the most fun part.

BT2 was on Wii, and I confirm motion controls suck on both games. But you can plug in a GameCube controller or classic controller and play that way too, works great!

Innocent world is the best soundtrack of the game, listening to it is relaxing

Btw Vegito isn't even 1 of the top tiers in the game. Or gogeta. They're both A teir. Siers are. Broly, perf cell, 17, trunks omega and ssj2 adult Gohan. They have have unique quirks. Like if you start as ULTRA trunks. You get 2 bars of ki for free. You just power down. Only he has this.

You said "no way they will add replays" but we did see one when the UI sign Goku vs Goku Black gameplay was shown in Animexpo, you can see the UI on the first frames of the gameplay in the bottom

One thing people don't mention in the transition between BT2 going to BT3 (AND ONWARD to all games currently) is that in BT2 there were over 30 more attacks that didn't have a cutscene forced animation. It allowed you to feel more apart of the world/immersed. In bt3 alot of the skills are replaced with cutscenes where you can't see anything going on. Not good for pvp. Or immersion. I hops they have more non-camera forced beam attacks. Ect. It's cool to see it from your normal pov

The amount of coping and deflecting this mf had to do to dissplay bt2 story to bt3 was genuinely fucking insane. Should've known the moment he did that "you would think right" that he would pull a bunch of dooky out to downplay it. How are you gonna gonna on a whole 2 minute rundown of how badly everything was avoided and done absolutely WRONG in bt3, then go to bt2 and actually give it a 5 minute rundown like it was somehow the worst performance by being much more accurate and......like a fucking story?? This gonna be the same guy who'll discredit sparking zero story for being more cinematic and storylike which bt2 went for Your issues you brought up aren't issues. Pressing r3 dont make your story suddenly storylike where just a moment ago nothing accurate was going on. All the what ifs are at the end whereas baked and actually interesting in bt2. LEAGUES above bt3 its not even close. Those are whole arcs honned in and developed as if a whole story. These bt3s are literally what you described, free battle scenarios they all end after one bout. Bad. Goku vs raditz at kami house just proves your issues null. It shows by actually directing for a story and not a fit in, you must go thru those encounters. See how he goes zero in and talks about hard battles for heroes are hard for you. Lad did you not watch doto hard mode run? The stuff in this saga alone more harder than anything on bt3. Way more scripted fights in 3. Last egregious was saying its just better go bt3 story form over b3. Sorry to say but sparking zero will yet again do the method you dont perfer, the majority will do the method you dont perfer. Dont discredit obvious better effort just dont. I grew playing bt3 and just watching dotos run not even in andorid saga lets me know this is instantly better without ask
