Ingredients
🍰Dough:
3 egg yolks
a pinch of salt
80 g (1/2 cup / 3 oz) powdered sugar
100g (almost a stick) melted butter
1 tbsp Greek yogurt
1 tsp vanilla
300 g (2 cups / 10.5 oz) flour
5g (1 tsp) baking powder
Cut off 1/3 of the dough and place in the freezer for at least 15 minutes
Baking mold 20X20 cm / 8X8 inches
🍦Cheese cream:
3 egg yolks
120 g (2/3 cup / 4 oz) sugar
500g mascarpone
60 g (5 tbsp / 2 oz) cornstarch
5 egg whites
a pinch of salt
60 g (4 tbsp / 2 oz) sugar
🍒 150 g (5 oz) cherries
🤍 Merengue on top:
3 egg whites
a pinch of salt
60 g (4 tbsp / 2 oz) sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
Place in the preheated oven at 180°C / 350°F for 1 hour
(or until the top of the cake rises evenly)
Powdered sugar (optional)
