Lionheart, wasn't part of this series shot in Manassas, VA? I remember seeing a film crew on the battlefield there around this time. 👍👍 10🌟 Later on, I was part of a few Lionheart Historical Films too. Thanks for sharing with us all.
The CSA was never going to win the war. They simply couldn't compete in a war of attrition. Even if Lee had defeated the ARMY of the Potomac in 1864 the North would simply have raised another Army and another etc. The manpower and industrial might of the North was unbeatable. In actual fact the CSA was like the US in Vietnam.... They may have won a lot of the battles but were never, ever going to win the war.
I thought the aim was to get the Csa recognised by foreign powers like Britain and claim nationhood and separation from the north without having to win on the field ?
@@bmac3093 The British Prime Minister, Lord Palmerston, the British Parliament and Queen Victoria herself never supported the CSA. How could they? Slavery was illegal in both Britain and France.
"Contrabans?" The original "Red Ball Exspress!" We "Are All" Still Americans! Together, and "X" slaves! My family paid first! while still alive! or arrived? Others as indentured servents? Others only worth the Investments once here alive in Good Health, of Value. Good Ranchers tend their flocks! Thanks JESUS!
How wonderful! Recoilless cannon! And rifles almost so. Why, with the resources available, not give a more realistic picture? Was it done on the cheap with weekend re-enactors?
Make your own if you think you can do better. Appreciate the effort Lionheart films puts out for our entertainment and stop complaining. Besides, I believe most of the action footage is stock reenactment action, done by people who reenact famous wars.
