Whoever gave this vid a thumbs down needs to go kick rocks. This vid was awesome and nothing but the truth ...keeping things real and very informative great job Brad and Bryan
Thank you Hallman for taking your time to give us Co Anglers an opportunity to learn from the best. These videos help and I specifically like the fact that there’s no sugar coating or beating around the bush. If I learn something and have the ability to apply it successfully…it’s a blessing and much appreciated.
Bradley, Thank a Million for doing this CoAngler series. I am a co angler in the BASS Opens. This series has helped me tons. Thank so much for having Bryan New on and him sharing his story and perspective. Totally Awesome... Much Respect to you and Bryan...
I've watched all these coangler series videos and learned a lot . you being a pro boater that's putting this time and effort into these videos for coanglers just shows how good of a guy you are! That's awesome! I'm fishing my first event this February it's the Toyota series on guntersville ,if I happen to do well and get asked anything I'm definitely giving you and your utube channel a shout out!
I got paired up with Bryan, day 2 in a Costa at Lake Seminole, he had an issue with his boat day 1 and it sank, this guy drove all night to Alabama to get a boat that he was able to borrow just to be able to fish the next day, he was the pro, I was the co, he fished with no sleep, but he made sure we fished day 2, had to be some kinda crazy pressure he was under, but he was stepping up from the co-angler position, and he sacrificed his sleep to make sure we both got to fish the second day! That showed me the kinda drive this guy had! He also caught fish in the middle of the river on a shakey head, way before livescope and mega 360!
Personally I think this is the best in this series yet! I think a lot of what he says in this as a co-angler can be, and should be, applied to the man in the front of the boat. Loved this!
Bryan new is coming on strong man, been following along and listening to let’s talk fish podcasts. Thrift and Matt believed in him from the start. I can see him hoisting a gold trophy 🏆 very soon, especially considering the classic is gonna be in sc this year
I love these coangler vids! I am really considering fishing a couple of the opens as coangler this season. Either the one at Cherokee here in TN or taking the family down and visiting my wife's people in the Shreveport area and fishing the Red River. I have no illusions of ever fishing for a living or even fishing a whole series of events but I know fishing in that level of tournament would be a really great and fun experience!
Great stuff here. I've been fishing the co angler side of the BFLs/ Toyota Series the past two years, and learning a ton, looking to get a bigger boat to move to the boater side in the next few years.
Thank you Bradley and Brynn for taking the time to do this. Hearing from a guy we look up to as a co dangler means a lot. He spoke the truth even though it’s something hard to accept it just is what it is. But I’m still convinced he got a special worm that we all don’t have and I’m sticking to it!!!!! Jk jk
Great video & thank you for sharing your story Bryan. I fish both as a boater & Co. Your words are true. I always tell everyone communication is key between you & your boater. Best of luck to the both of you this upcoming season!! I just wish I would've started this tournament fishing stuff a lot earlier in life.......
First I want to personally thank you for your channel doing this series. I just paid my entry for Toyota series central division as co angler. Excited and nervous at same time. Just started a channel as well road To Pro Co-Angler With Rob Dyer. Showing how tough it really is and the journey to make it happen. Lake Guntersville in Feb never been to the three locations but started looking at everything now
Good Video... Being a co-angler is an emotional roller coaster ride. Being a Carolina boy myself I have watched Bryan fish a lot of years. Dedicated for sure...
Bradley. One of your best of all time videos. It was not only great value for a non boater. Great value for a boater and life in general. I think a conversation and video like this ( among other things) is going to help you rekindle fire and drive for you, and for those that will listen and take heed.
Great video Brad!... I fished a couple years as a Co, and always kept the mindset that this venture is about the boater ...not about me. I had the ability to fish as a boater, but not the time, money, and a boat! ... I knew my day would come and it did!
Good show Brad, I agree 100% with staying out of the boaters way and having respect for their space and equipment, personally I am very uncomfortable in someone else's boat(scared to death I am going to damage something). I have been with 7 different boaters in the past year and they all have been very good to get along with, It was a great honor to spend a day in Woo Dave's boat on day one at Lake Norman this year, it was a great day.I am looking forward to fishing the Southern Opens again next year.
Excellent video Brad. I really dig this series, but this one was probably my favorite so far. Bryan is an extremely great angler and an even better guy. And man alive, that tackle room of his insane ain't it? Appreciate you sharing this with us buddy. 👍👍
@@BradleyHallmanFishing haha thanks man. Had Grand plans for a show years ago. But it’s yours if you want it. still think you and the boys (Panger, Castledine, Upshaw, etc) could use that name for a killer outdoors show - combination of outdoors action and round table talk and story tellin. Maybe some cookin too. I’d watch. Let me know if you ever want to use the name or if you need a place to crash on grand
I hit the like button so fast when you started pointing at the camera saying “I’m watchin you” 😂 - Was cool getting to fish against you at a couple Tuesday nighters this summer. Keep up the awesome work sir. 👊
Awesome video! Thank you for the information to help me in my journey as a Co-Angler. Life has gotten me down a little but I will rise. Bryan and Bradley are amazing fishermen. Have a great day!!
I’m glad you had Bryan New on, and that’s another reason I quit co-angling 100 co-angler’s were told that all the co-angler spots were filled by 50 anglers which left only 50 anglers. So 100 of us regular co-anglers got bumped out. Bryan said he did that because they were giving away a boat as co-angler, is that fair? Because angler caint fish in local tournaments and they don’t want co-anglers fishing in classics or elite tournaments. That’s flat out WRONG!!! That’s why I’m sure one of the reasons mfl no longer exists! Thank GOD!!! What’s your opinion!!!
Great job Bradley. I have enjoyed your videos. Watched all the Co series and hopefully it will help me with my first BASS Open as a Co this year. Going to do the James River. Hoping it will be fun and i can learn some stuff.
Great video, Bradley. Bryan is an awesome fisherman and I love hearing what he has to say. He fills in for Thrift on Matt Areys podcast sometimes Lets Talk Fish. Real insightful video. Thanks for sharing with us.
Good one. I do most of New says, except for prefishing. As a co, I have not seen a difference in it working or not working for me. As a boater, whole different story. That said, as a co, I still research the lake to see how I am going to fish it from the back and determine what I can do to catch fish. I tend to over think when if I pre fish. If I put the weather, water conditions, and boat position together as it happens, I tend to do better.
Awesome video great advice. Also want to say Aaron I miss you already!!!!! Hook that 10 pounder in the sky for us. God bless your family and we never forget you. R. I. P. Hog Snatcher. 😥😥😥😥🙏🙏🙏🙏
Amart was special to just about everyone. I was thinking last night I don’t remember a single person saying anything negative about him ever. Solid person and family for sure.
Bradley sorry to hear that your retired from pro Bass fishing. I hope you have a great and wonderful retirement. Will you still fish and do any guide fishing. And are you going to keep your podcast up.
Is starting bfl for fishing tournaments a good idea, never fished a tournament before. Curious to see if I am way over my head with wanting to do it or not thank you
@@BradleyHallmanFishing BassU’s podcasts are 3-4x as long and 1/3rd the entertainment and education. There’s never a wasted minute in any of your content
My best, A number 1 piece of advice that I can give, is that if you have plans of fishing full time, you NEED to have the support of your girl friend,, wife, or family, or you will never make it.... bottom line! ...The least little big of negativity, will mentally take you out. It will affect your drive, your strategy, and most importantly, your decisions. Those who disagree, let me know who you are, so I can watch!
