10:59 People may want/need Microsoft fonts if they will be sending MS Office (.docx etc) files back and forth, to better preserve layout etc. I know it's a terminal command but it's the most effective way of doing it.... sudo apt update sudo apt install ttf-mscorefonts-installer There is a EULA you need to agree to. There is a GUI method but it assumes you have the fonts (.TTF) file. Open Linux Mints "Software Manager" search for "font-manager". Install it then launch it. Now you can install any font that you own manually - use the "+" button to search for font files. CAn do a batch select - don't have to do it one by one.
